That helmet is an absolute death trap!! Helmets are like crumple zones on cars. They're designed to crush, crumple and crumble under impact and force. Not stay in tact as this one did after so many impacts. A classic example as an analogy is Newtons cradle. As the balls in the cradle hit each other only the end ball feels the force and moves. The rest of the balls stay put. This helmet is one of the balls in the middle of the cradle and unfortunately your brain is the end ball. I'm assuming that HJC is a plastic shell and not a tri composite? Could you please confirm? Jumping the gun assuming it is a Plastic shell, I will never in my life wear a plastic shell helmet for the reasons demonstrated in this video.
AdjrianNickelodeon "advanced polycarbonate composite shell" is what's printed on the side. I think you got it. It's got a DOT and SNELL rated sticker on it too. Everyone destroy their old helmets and see if they at BSing us. 😳
The helmet did its job. The outside shell is in no way designed to absorb impact. The thick foam on the inside of the helmet is what absorbs the impact and stops it from transferring to yo noggin
It provide real good protection against impact but your slow-mo did provide one vital bad point. Shock wave of the impact may cause neck and spinal damage from the top. Interesting

First, love your vids.you AWESOME!!!!❤️
Wat up! Always good to hear that.
I know this video is old but, he has no strength in his swings and the killswitch on chainsaw is active. That's why it wasn't starting.
would help if you did it on a solid surface. Lot of impact is absorbed by drum and lid.
M. Thats what i was thinking k because the helmet was able to flex against the barrel top it created a cushion for the impact.

Keith Wong exactly the same thing I was thinking. I guess there's really nothing that can protect you from any and all injury.
Is it plastic or composite? Interesting video.
Hey, your description says "globes" instead of "gloves". :)
I bet I could split that helmet with an axe 😑
I rock a hjc helmet myself
Hjc 🖒🖒🖒🖒
