"Wade in the Water" from Spiritual Fantasy no. 12 by Frederick C. Tillis

On May 8, 2022, Pianist Samantha Ege and the Castle of our Skins string quartet presented an evening of chamber music from the African continent and diaspora at Oxford's Sheldonian Theatre. This concert gave the UK premieres of works by South African composer Bongani Ndodana-Breen (b. 1975), and African American composers Undine Smith Moore (1904-1989) and Frederick C. Tillis (1930-2020).
Here is "Wade in the Water" from Spiritual Fantasy no. 12 by Tillis, written in 1988.
