Willy and Lukas has gotten me through so many times I never thought I would. I was the angel flying to close to the ground, I died on 02/24/2020 of a massive cardiac arrest in my sister's arms. I was on life support for 5 days no brain activity. My first thought when awoke was Willy's angel flying to close to the ground, then I was so happy to hear Lukas's version, AMAZING that Lukas sounds so much like his dad. God bless both of these wonderful and AMAZING men. Thank you Willy and Lukas, you really did help save my life.

I just found out about Lukas Nelson for the first time today. Lukas, I hope that it’s a compliment to you for you yo sound so much like your father. I agree with other posts, you have your own very unique sound, but you can’t deny you are your father’s son.
I will turn 70 years old this October, and since I was in my early 20’s, I have loved your father’s voice and his songs. When my former husband and I would ride together and hear Willie on the raid II, without fail I’d tell my husband, I’m going to be broken hearted when we lose willie. I told him they’ll just have to bury me too! Your dad has played just a huge role in my life with his music.
When I was sad, it would comfort me and lift my spirits, when I was happy, it made me happier. At times his music was sobering to me, and at times it made me laugh.
I, as many others, will grieve when the world loses Willie Nelson, without a doubt. And this may become a burden to you, tho I pray not, but having a part of your father’s voice to carry on the legend when he is gone, somehow takes a tad of the sting out of the thought of us all losing him. I have cancer, and Willie may live years after I am gone, but, for now I can take a little comfort in knowing that if he goes before I do, I can remember him through your awesome voice. Your father has been a gift to the whole world, and now he is passing on another gift to us…..YOU!!
I work in the Healthcare field so work must go on....but the quiet and almost empty streets give me hope that most are listening and keeping themselves safe...at this time in our lives the sound of silence means hope. Thank you for sharing this beautiful song with us.

This is SUCH a powerful song, and too many people fail to really listen to the mesas in the lyrics. I think people forget that there used to be an unwritten code that BARDS couldn’t be killed for their songs. Only Bards could could speak the truth no one dared speak. Music is and always has been the one thing (besides food) that unites all cultures. Let’s take a step back and chill for a minute. Let us remember that we are all HUMAN and EARTH is our home. We are not MANY races of sentient beings- we are ONE race with a diverse expression!

As much as I adore your dads music, you have such a distinct sound that is so uniquely your own. Thank you for sharing your gift with us! My Lady and I saw the Famlay band @ The Alabama Theatre round 2014. We bought nosebleed tix and by the time your Father was signing autographs, we were on the front row. I told your Dad I was his illegitimate son from Birmingham (I had my hair in Willie braids and had a big red beard) I called myself Wooley Nelson. Lol. I gave your Papa an Owl feather, he shook my hand and said "Thank ya, Son!!" Immediately, he went back to the amps and grabbed his black Stetson and pinned the owl feather in the side and yall all knew it was time to walk out and bow with him. We heard your songs for the first time there. Stood by your your bus and had never smelt flowers smell so gud. My wife said that weekend is when you won me over. Thanks Lucas for being your daddy's son and Thanks Willie for being You!!!! THANK YA SON!!!!!
