FAQ: 1. Q: I don't see the wheel settings, I can only see controller settings. What should I do? A: Make sure you are entering the settings from your controller. The game will automatically have the settings visible for what you are playing with, so enter the controls using the wheel. 2. Q: I don't have a G920, will these wheel settings still work for my Thrustmaster, G923, etc? A; Yes! Although, they won't be perfect. If you have a different wheel than I do, use these settings as a baseline and go from there. Your preference for how the wheel feels may be different than mine, so make sure you fine tune it to your liking if needed. 3. Q: Why doesn't my clutch work? A: It is just a bug in Horizon 5 right now. I am hoping this gets fixed in a future update. For now, try remapping your clutch pedal. Go to settings and find controls. Then click on clutch and re map it. 4: Q: What are my GHub Settings? A: I am on xbox, so I unfortunately do not have GHub. 5. Q: My settings show steering sensitivity, what should I set this to? A: My wheel does not offer this option, so I unfortunately would not be able to give you a number. 6. Thanks for this. I've had shoulder issues for the last 25 years and a week ago I could only play 30-40 minutes at the most. I only adjusted a few settings and I played a couple hours today without any problems.
All I can say is thank you. I was constantly fighting my wheel out of the box, and even after trying the most popular video's suggestions, I was still struggling a TON. This being my first wheel (the same one you have in the video), I thought I'd made a mistake buying it at first. I thought there'd be no way I could possibly even try getting better if I was struggling so much already. (I'm in a C class vehicle, not super fast so I figured it'd be a good start to learning the wheel)
Fantastic, thank you so much. I kept vibration and dialed the wheel damper scale all the way up to 2.0. This is me playing for the first time on a wheel and I drove 7 miles on road, highway, streets, and dirt trails all the back, and it felt good. I wasn't drifting and just driving for grip without wearing out the tires as much as possible going as fast as possible.
Thank you buddy great help! Got a wheel yesterday been playing all night, non stop messing about! Tmx feedback a bit shaky, but now got it locked in bro thank you, I only mess with feedback and road scales everything else is spot on thank you subbed
I just bought a wheel today and after two hours of trying to get it to work, im amazed how much the companies dont give a f**k after selling a product. Theres like a 5 big racing games and we have to make setups for the wheel ourselves? Is it a joke? Thank you for this video, makes developers jobs for them
Thank you man. The difference has been night and day. You don't know how happy you made me feel after tweaking a couple of settings I can finally say I can drift using the wheel. I can drift fine with the controller but with the wheel it has been a frustrating month for me.
A minor note: the clutch should have an inner deadzone of some amount for realism. A real clutch pedal has a certain amount it must be pressed to disengage from the engine, and then on return, re-engage at that same spot. Which by setting the inner dead zone is the same effect. Each car has a different dead zone IRL, so one could set it to whatever they prefer and not take away from realism. But even if someone had a really well built clutch made to engage at the smallest amount of input, I think it would still be a dead zone of Atleast 2%.

Thanks for this video dude! Making the changes you recommended here really helped me out, and made me enjoy doing cross country + online scramble races on the wheel!
Amazing. The only settings that made the game playable for me. Everything else gave me little to no FFB or constant oscillation when I oversteered leading to a spin out. My only adjustment was putting Min Force to 1.0 since the wheel felt too light for some reason.

Mate these are the best wheel settings I've come across by far, thank you! I've just got my first wheel and sat here for 4 hours just trying out wheel settings and these are the closest I've felt. Not using them for drifting at the moment as I can't drift for shit lmao.
Glad you like them!
