What a beautiful rifle. I have a BSA R10 SE in 177cal. Its FAC as I live in the USA. Its the best rifle I own. But I also love the sub 12ft pounds rifle right here. It has everything I need for 50yard small game hunting. I will be buying this......😁👍💯
I have always rated BSA rifles extremely highly and I have the BSA lightening. 22 and the Comet this new rifle PCP looks brilliant this will be a real winner for BSA fancy one myself Nice one BSA design team Cheers 🥂👍👌👌👌👍
Mrs has bought one , and ive used it , good points are New magazine is good , easy to load , shot count higher , and you dont have to " clip it in " like on R10 ect mostly metal , a very sturdy component The safety switch , lot better then ( again ) R10 ect ect Nice adjustable trigger , as to be expected though Not so good bits Its noisy , even with an hugget on ( obviously if your at a range this wont matter ) nevertheless its noisy Would like to have had an adjustable cheek piece ( I know , extra price point ) But the MAIN gripe , is the bolt , not that its a " bolt " as opposed to the more popular " side lever " action , but the fact its so bloody stiff ( may ease a bit with use ) Shot count poor ( 5 mags full ) NOW , in an hunting scenario , id say it was perfectly good enough , down the range , well , best make sure youve packed your bottle / stirrup pump in the boot ( well you'd probably do that anyway ) Fill port shield ( thing you rotate to reveal port hole ) MAKE SURE it firmly pushed on the tube , its only held on by an O ring , and easily falls off .. when turning it to reveal hole , keep it pressed IN towards the butt end of rifle
Hi Mark, is that 5 full mags In .177? And is that 5 full mags at bang on poi? And then a drop off? Thanks, Im looking at buying soon but the 60fps variation is putting me off! If you can put 5 mags through it though at bang on poi I'd still buy
Really like the Look of the New BSA and good to see them producing new British Rifles BUT I do wish that as they spent the time to redesign the breech block they should have gone with a side lever Bolt, They seem to cling to old designs, Whilst I myself have Bolt Operated Air Arms I also have Side Lever Kozak and much prefer the Side lever, The Turkish & Some Chinese Models have them but BSA still cling to the Old Fashioned style Bolt, Safety looks very neat and of course the Usual Quality Woodwork. Well Done BSA but do you think within the next 50 years you can Join the 21st Century!!
Rear pull bolts are not the vouge at all any more. At the least they ould offer the T bolt off their new SilverStar target gun. Did you see the ammount of bolt bounce upon firing? Overall the gun looks like a big improvement quality wise, however it looks like a gun I will only consider in 18 monts second hand as a lightweight farm gun.
@@heithwatkins It's really well priced fairplay, I'd pay more for one that it regged from the start, the R-10 is. One day no doubt the will be some special edition knowin BSA and I will probably end up getting one.
Welcome, the distance of the barrel from the air tank in the air rifle makes its shape somewhat bad in addition to the shape of the silencer or the front piece, this is a point of view, thank you.
I see BSA still have the bolt jump when you fire.....thought they'd have sorted that by now. BSA says it is "anti-double load", but you say you can? Which is it?
Officially...... It's anti double load IF you operate it correctly. Unofficially...... If you operate it a bit too gently (or sloppy) then it could double load. Personally I think it's a poor design if such things can happen, some may say "well it's the shooters fault" but other manufacturers can design there guns so this isn't an issue.
Thanks for review, like this one and may well purchase, can you please chronograph and give some power figures. Bsa's website says 700fps, but if that was based on say 8.4 gr pellets that would only be 9.1 ftlb and I'm sure it's not that low, thanks !!!
In my opinion the BSA has a way to short front stock to get a good hold. It should at least continue to the gold ring on the air tube. Why the checkering/stippling just behind the trigger? Who is holding a rifle like that! The other neg. is, when using a sling, the barrel will be stick way above your head and will hang behind branches. I do like BSA but here was design more important than functionality. Is it regulated....?
I wish you guys would stop saying the pressure gauge on the front is dangerous because it isn't! Your gun should be made safe before filling (removing magazine and ensuring the final shot has been taken). The only way you can get hurt is by being an idiot!
Get a goldstar nothing new here cheap scope low shot count and the shot count is all important to a plinker especially when you're a mile or so from the vehicle never thought I'd see a bsa I didn't like just me maybe?
BSA needs to pull they finger out.... they are so far behind AirArms etc... this I can see already is horrible and hard to cock this is a very little gun you'll be lucky to get 30 shots though that. BSA needs to come out with new ideas like bring out a HFT or FT gun (not like the Goldstar that was bad)and come out from bolt action to side lever oh and Beach stocks doesn't look nice. I do like the fact they make their own barrel I just think BSA is way under achieving.
I literally bought a brand new Ultra SE .177 beech for £520 a couple of weeks ago right before the CLX was released (typical). I'm going to fit a Huma reg and probably a longer cylinder. The Ultra SE is a great little rifle but I may well have gone for the CLX instead, I do like that stock, the safety position seems better and a magnetic magazine instead of a manually operated retaining pin looks to be an improvement. A walnut stock is always nice but tbh the limited run of rifles seemed too costly. It will be interesting to see if the CLX has any teething issues. I can see myself buying one in .22.
Weihrauch engineering is fantastic, I really like their springers and I've no doubt the HW110 is a great gun but for me the plastic is a turn off. No matter what anyone tells you plastics degrade over time, I'd prefer my gun to be made of metal.

Hello Mr. Mark Camoccio, I have watched your videos for many years, congratulations for your great work.cheers Portugal.
@Horatio Nelson sim gostava muito, tenha um bom verão.
Great review, well done BSA!
Magnífica BSA Ultra!!!
Mrs has bought one , and ive used it , good points are
New magazine is good , easy to load , shot count higher , and you dont have to " clip it in " like on R10 ect mostly metal , a very sturdy component
The safety switch , lot better then ( again ) R10 ect ect
Nice adjustable trigger , as to be expected though
Not so good bits
Its noisy , even with an hugget on ( obviously if your at a range this wont matter ) nevertheless its noisy
Would like to have had an adjustable cheek piece ( I know , extra price point )
But the MAIN gripe , is the bolt , not that its a " bolt " as opposed to the more popular " side lever " action , but the fact its so bloody stiff ( may ease a bit with use )
Shot count poor ( 5 mags full ) NOW , in an hunting scenario , id say it was perfectly good enough , down the range , well , best make sure youve packed your bottle / stirrup pump in the boot ( well you'd probably do that anyway )
Fill port shield ( thing you rotate to reveal port hole ) MAKE SURE it firmly pushed on the tube , its only held on by an O ring , and easily falls off .. when turning it to reveal hole , keep it pressed IN towards the butt end of rifle

60 fps variation ??? Where you get that from
@@Fluffychip
Yeah. .. poi will be ok after 5 mags ... but 60fps variation ? ??
@@markhomer5704 cheers for that mark I think it's well worth buying In that case, it was on Andys airgun reviews I'm sure it was

Going to have to take a look at that ..

Looks like an all round quality improvement, however, Mega Bolt bounce and at least give us the option to pay more for a regualted version.
Bolt is fine. Slight moving affects nothing. Huma makes regs for it. Moderators are abundant.
I love it.

I remember Marks articles in Airgun World about 1980 !
I love the look of it but that bolt flopping around would drive me mad
Very informative video, Thanks !!
Is it possible to get this in 7,5 joule with F-Marking for the German market? Who distribute BSA in Germany?
Welcome, the distance of the barrel from the air tank in the air rifle makes its shape somewhat bad in addition to the shape of the silencer or the front piece, this is a point of view, thank you.
Are they now using the standard 11mm dovetails or still their bizarre 13mm ones?

I wonder if BSA will update the Goldstar?
Good review. Shame about the sound 😊

Good looking gun , just a tad expensive .

Good 👍👍Mizo
BSA have pulled an apple

There are a lot of users out there that are not the sharpest tools in the shed
Carnt here a thing
don't look bad for a £700 pcp
Is it leaking air yet?
👌👍❤️🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
You are going to spend more time re filling the gun than actually shooting it
Poor review, more of a sponsored advertisement
Should have done the goldstar NOT the ultra .
Disappointing to see the amount of bolt flip!

You get 70 shots per fill takes 5 mins to refill if your not weak
Too expensive and not regulated... Rather have an ultra se...

Cheap as chips parts internally. Nowhere near the 100 .
Nah I'll pass on the Plastic Fantastic 110
