You put all the screws in without having the skater try them first on the slotted screws 😢 to see if the skater is happy with the position of the blade ???
What are you thinking man ????

Most often EDEA’s boot stitches are not the centre. Boots are different even given same size.

I have the Jackson Freestyle with stock Aspire XP blade and am looking at switching to the Coronation Ace. My current blades (Aspire XP) are 9-3/4" inch, so as the length is based on the sole of the foot with the small gap, I'm assuming going to another brand skate would mean I still require the same length (9-3/4"), correct? Also, does the Aspire XP actually have a spin rocker (at the front, not the 8' radius)? My pro shop said no, and a Jackson rep online said yes. Curious how much of a change in rocker it would be moving to the Coronation Ace (not planning on ever learning more than single jumps, but wan to improve footwork and spins).

You would indeed need the same size blades, so a 9.75” Ace. All figure blades have a “spin rocker”. The Aspire XP isn’t as well designed as the Ace, so it’s not as easy to spin on. The Ace is the worlds best selling blade for a reason. The 7’ rocker, and the spin rocker placement, make it great for learning to spin.
As to vibration, that usually means the screws aren’t tight, the blades aren’t aligned under you for you, or the blades haven’t been sharpened straight

Just wondering, I have some Risport Electra’s that came with the stock edea rotation blade, the heel plate doesn’t reach the edge of the heel, is it supposed to? Or is it more common to see a gap? When I decide to upgrade to Coro Ace the sizing is different, my current are 8 2/3” so I will be needing 8 3/4” coro ace, I’m assuming this will reach the edge of the heel more, I’m wondering if it makes any difference?

Hey. So for the most part, your blades should be about 1/4” shorter than the sole aka you’d see a gap. So if your sole length is exactly 8.75”, the suggested length would be 8.5”. Edea Rotation blades come in 1/3” vs 1/4” increments, so you have 8 2/3” blades. I suggest that if you’re growing, or find the blade to “tippy”, you maximize the length of the blade to make it as big as possible on the sole. I’d say it doesn’t make much of a difference either way, especially since you’re going from a basic blade to a fantastic blade.

@@bsharpottawa that’s really really helpful thank you!! I know it’s only because of financial struggle that I haven’t upgraded yet, it’s way overdue, I’m struggling with these horrid blades they don’t hold a sharpen longer than a few hours and the toe pick is laughable. 8 3/4” will be the size I’ll get in my coro aces as it’s the closest to the current size I have now so hopefully (apart from the rocker size change) it shouldn’t cause much of a difference, maybe just a tad more blade at the back for me to rely on but I can’t complain about that hahaha

Where do you get that stand to put the boots on for mounting?
