This is so exciting. Dragon Warrior 3 on Gameboy Color was a hardcore part of my childhood and it's class system and personalities were so fun and revolutionary at the time. Perfect game for making your own party and imparting your own story on yo them and the overall story. This remake is exciting and your coverage on it is really good. I'm not plugged into things crazy, so your vids were my first time knowing about this remake. Congrats on vacation, hope you have fun. Just discovered your channel this week, really like your content a lot. Your retrospective type reviews are very well done and I like your thoughts on them. I'm going through the back catalog on them, so I apologize if you come back and there's like 20+ comments from me on various games and things. You randomly popped on my feed two days ago when you made that 2500 subscribers Phantasy Star video, so I imagine those numbers really help push with reach. first thing i am doing is turning off that bloom/post processing when i get it on PC. its too much, and kind of ruins it imo. specially when its suppose to have that anime/toon look all the past DQ has, and this has a hybrid realistic lighting too it. Its just off to me.
I’m sure the T’n’T board is blocked off in this demo like how they blocked off the 2nd floor in Patty’s place last time. I loved how Romaria’s troops show up to arrest Robbin’ ‘Ood and his band, only for him to make a cartoonish getaway. I’m also excited for the DQ VIII style Monster Arena too.
We will see after all in the SNES version the Boomerang wasn't in the Dream Tower dungeon at the start of the GAME is was found by beating the FIRST T'NT board itself but that dice game was ONLY on the SNES and Game Boy Color version. Besides with Romaly actually HAVING Boomerangs as a BUYABLE weapon in this remake I doubt the T'NT boards will even BE in the game.

Speaking of Champaign/Sky Fell Tower can you SKIP the boss fight and actually do ALL the regions leading up to Dharma temple/All trade's Abby in this remake IE being able to CRUSH Kandar himself in that tower WITH LV 40+ party members using like the Strongest full party fire spell 200+ damage to Kandar like 3x a turn KILLING HIM in 1 turn. OR you will be FORCED to fight him before you can even access the Pyramid dungeon.

Btw according to Fates; that Kandar Boss fight later on in the footage is apparently the guy you got stuck on in your first playthrough. I love that guy, but he’s definitely the first difficulty increase in the game.

You probably Do but my Biggest concern is once ONE party member learns the Monster skills would the OTHER 2 non hero's automaticaly LEARN Them if you made them into the monster tamer class end of game after having 1 party member STAY in the class until all the monster skills/spells are learnt.
It didn't for the White/Black Mage spells its just that if the random monsters can ONLY JOIN ONCE PER save file then it would be impossible to have the 3 NONE Hero's with every monster tamer skill usable unless capturing any monster adds the monster tamer skills to the ENTIRE 3 non hero's immediately so that when the 3 Non hero's do become one they will learn the same skills all at once similar to FF5's spells.
@@veghesther3204 Oooh I see what you’re saying now. You’re misunderstanding how the Monster Wrangler learns his abilities. They just learn them by leveling up, not by recruiting monsters. I get how that would be confusing though because of how some of the previous games have done monster abilities.
Why is it that Japanese video game channels, actually give us gameplay with no commentary and then freakin English gamers like to talk the whole entire video on their channels 😐 (Not talking about you of course! Breakdown and just talking are two different things, Lol I meant like those gaming site channels)

Really disappointed to see that whip hitting an entire group like the Game Boy version and not a single enemy like the NES version. Hopefully, there are some difficulty options.
@@Satiator123 There are difficulty options but I doubt it would effect this, as pretty much every game after DQ3 on the NES this is how whips have worked.
@dukey03 that and the boomerangs in DW3 GBC kind of broke the game and devalued magic. In the newer DQ games, it's not as much of an issue, so I'm really hoping this isn't an issue in the new releases. I'm strongly considering selling my NES DW games for these HD2D remakes.
My guy youre rolling a dice and movin around the board like its Great Value Mario Party. Dont get me wrong, I like the rewards I can get out of doing it. But when I was actually playing the minigame board during my DQ5 playthrough, I was not a fan.
Yeah... I can't wait to play this game, but nothing will get me to pay a full 60 for it short of suddenly getting double income and having disposable income again. Not with all the recent inflation in groceries and whatnot. This game is gorgeous but not 60 dollars gorgeous.
