    I did have this but like the larger stand better for the 24. It is big and heavy, but I find it much more stable for how I work.

    The real question is if it supports the cintiq 22.

    "cleaver cable management". you mean the velcro straps?

    • @RobertHranitzky
      @RobertHranitzky  5 років тому +4

      Hans Zarkov yup! I think it’s pretty good. Not sure what else would’ve worked, as it needs to be able to move easily and go through the arm without cable strain - so it needs to be loose to some extent. But yes, it doesn’t look overly slick and elegant ;)

      Thank you and great question! Of course there is slight motion but really depends individually on how "hard" the movements are. I am currently working on a couple of new videos that should be out soon, where I will be using the Cintiq 32 with the Flex Arm. After your suggestion I will also cover that topic briefly! Keep your eyes peeled for these videos. Probably next month. Thanks again!

      Have used the arm, it depends on the position of the joints, if they are in one line extended it's OK-ish, but if you put any pressure on the tablet you'll usually have to hold it with the other hand. Personally hate the damn thing, it's mostly just rebranded ergotron HX parts with no added features.
      The alternative "ergo" stand is more robust, but not ergonomic, it does not allow to lock into a height. (only locks into highest position and otherwise just has the tablet rest on whatever surface comes first) Those using the "ergo" stand often use books or whatever at hand under the tablet to have the tablet at an ergonomic height.

      @@Karsliyu I ended up buying the ergo. It's not bad, but you are right it wont help with height adjustment. For that price it should. Luckily I have an adjustable desk from work that let's me move it up or down electronically.

    Given that ALL Wacom do is make 'tablets' with one purpose, why is it that a) you still can't draw a straight line on one (it's always wavy) and b) why are they SOOO heavy with MASSIVE bezels. This is 2020 guys, less bezel, more screen and lighter weight is needed these things are dinosaurs!

      @@RobertHranitzky You can buy the vesa Mount separately and you can use any kind of arm with the cintiq pro 24 and 32'' too (another excuse for wacom to get more money but nevermind ... ).
      I use a old gas generic arm on my cintiq 24 pro without issue and at the time it was like 80 € i think . Even with the vesa mount adaptor from wacom you will spend around 130 € in total . (80 € arm + vesa mount 50 € ... the price i pay .. i think in your country is around 70 $ www.amazon.com/Wacom-ACK62804K-Cintiq-VESA-Mount/dp/B07HRG7HV8) .
      I don't know if my arm it's certified for this weight cuz i don't have anymore the box is pretty old but it support monitor up to 32 '' and it worked very well with every monitor or cintiq i used with it (cintiq pro 24 included) .
      I can do some test in my studio with the 32 ' version if you want but i'm sure it will work . In my country this arm you reviewed is around 380 € there is no point to waste so many money on it .
      Other than that this one is just a expensive rip-off of the most popular Ergotron arm which has been available for at least 10 years or more that everybody still use with their cintiq .. I think the Ergotron Hx (150 - 200 € in my country than with the vesa mount is around 200 - 250 € ... still a lot cheaper than the official one) is Certified for monitor up to 42'' and with 9.1-19.1 kg of weight ... the cintiq 32'' is around 13 kg than should be fine right ?
      This are just my 2 cent man no offense nothing against you or your review . If you like to spend 150- 250 € more for the same products cuz you believe is more certified or what it's up to you . Have a nice day 😉

    • @RobertHranitzky
      @RobertHranitzky  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks so much. Yes, I indeed! This desk being an IKEA desk it has a metal frame under the desk. The metal frame is pretty close to the edge of the wooden part of the desk, which would mean I could not push the metal Flex Arm clamp all the way to the edge (the lower screws part has a rather large surface). To make it even and aligned with the metal frame, I added that little block. Hope this helps?
