Made some last night! Pork came out nice and smoky.
I am going to try cold smoking some salmon tomorrow after curing!

So you put it in smoker some then put it on gas and let smoke in gas side from vents ? Process of watching

Yes I smoked it in the smoke chamber and cooked it to completion there, but then put it on the gas grill side while putting BBQ sauce on it and just really using the higher direct heat for a little bit while the BBQ sauce gets a little charred and sticky. Thanks for watching.

Thank you, I love the comment. LOL .. Please keep in mind I wasn't cooking for strangers or a lot of people. This was just a family meal for our small family which I'm sure most people do the same in their own kitchens. LOL Thanks again.

Would you say the smoker loses too much smoke? Thx for the video.

Not sure what you mean by loses to much smoke ? When opening the door ? Yeah when opening the door, I imagine it is pretty much like other smokers it will lose the smoke but the wood chips are burning hot and with some water in the tray it seems to keep the smoke flowing. With this model because it is more of a grill than a smoker, the wood chip box is on the small size but on a low to medium setting it will burn for 4-6 hours before I think you would need to put more woodchips in it. I have learned not to wait until they all burn out but I tend to add little to the chip box as it is burning to keep it hot and going rather than running out of smoke. This grill had a gas and charcoal grill which you can open a vent from the smoke chamber to the grill to ad flavor to the food your also grilling on top.
