The 60’s and 70’s are two decades that will never be duplicated in the music world! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's true but the 90s were the last decade of truly great music. Still, not even the 90s can match this. To be fair, NO other group can match Pink Floyd!
I'm old (64)....This is one of (3) songs that I put on a flash drive I have left for my daughter for her to only listen to once I've passed someday. This says a little of my feelings of my life...about how I took it for granted when young. How all of a sudden I'm older and didn't do a lot of things I could and should have done. Life passes very quickly....don't waste it.
Don't wait! Also.. what are the other two?
@@duncankushnir4855 Warren Zevon "Keep Me In Your Heart"....and the Eagles "It's Your World Now"
Hi, Rick...I know exactly what you mean. I'm 70 and there's a ton of things I wish I'd done when I was younger.
Oldster here too. I've made sure to expose my girls to as much of the music I listen to as possible. They can identify Pink Floyd, LZ, Yes, and Aerosmith, so I think they've passed my class. :)
Another on my list is Kansas - Dust In The Wind.
I was 11 when I saw this exact show, 14th October 1994, remember it vividly. Lighting and stage was phenomenal, but what you cannot get a grip for is the sound. Not just the clarity, but the level of loudness and clarity. 200k watts of quadrophonic stereo. There were speaker sets hanging from the ceiling all around Earls Court. I remember thinking when the first few notes that David played of Shine On, crap this is loud. What I have not said yet, is I was wearing freaking ear plugs too. By the second half of the show, for Dark Side of The Moon, I just took them out because it was absolutely pointless to have them in. I don't care if you have the best set of headphones, most expensive stereo system money can buy, it will never come close to reproducing that experience.
No show I have seen since, and I have been to quite a few since 1994, will ever top this concert, not for the music, lighting, sound or production. Ever.
One of the best concerts you could ever experience. I saw them in the 70's and was blown away.
The video was blocked but the cameo of Gilmour has him wearing Jimi Hendrix's old guitar strap. His wife bought that for him and he wears it in every concert lately. I saw Jimi play live and in person wearing that strap on July 4th, 1970. A month and a half later he was dead. Seeing that strap brings back many, many memories. Some happy. Some sad. However I was lucky to see the young master display his incredible skill before he left us. Now the old master carries the torch.
And just like that I’m a teenager again with my whole life ahead of me. Like Bob Seger says “wish I didn’t know now what I didn’t know then.”
Very very very Philosophy Songs.... Listening this song when you 20, and then listening again when you 30, and then listening when you 40,50... It was diffrent experince....
As a GenZ , I first started listening to Pink Floyd 12 years ago when I was around 9 or so . I never delved deep into Floyd and missed out on this song during my first stint . I first heard this song when I was 12 and only understood the deep lyrics and what the song means 6 years later . Blew my mind then , and still mind blowing to this day .
Every time a Floyd Virgin hears TIME an angel gets its wings......
I grew up in this era...and this is my favorite Pink Floyd piece! Thank you!
Agree, I love a lot of their albums, but this is the album of my life.
As a fan of Pink Floyd since the early seventies this is one album, "Dark Side of the Moon", I've owned in just about every form of media avalible. From vinyl, to 8-track to cassette to CD it's been around for close to 50 years now. Might I recommend getting a copy of it on CD, turn on your Lava Lamp, turn down the lights, put on your headphones and listen from beginning to end.
Vern Hoke. Just one thing to add. I always found it best to lie down on the floor, not on the bed, or the couch/recliner, but just flat out on the floor. I would often be woken up the next morning on the floor with my headphones still on.
@@Jackle61 yup, same😅. Would occasionally be woken by my mum... saying “what the F are you doing, sleeping on the floor?
Spliff missing?
@@rubentullenaar2934 My Dad would usually find me and wake me as he went off to work, often asking if I was out drinking again. If he only knew what I was out doing.
@Vern Hoke , I'm in!
You should listen to "Money", "comfortably numb" & "Be careful with that Axe, Eugene" live at Pompeii. You should buy some decent headphones to hear more of Pink Floyd.
Hey England, thanks for Pink Floyd.
Awesome Floyd tune and another beautiful reaction !! These always make my day Rebeka !
Epic band! Never really fit the classic rock of that time but wildly different and amazing!!!
The song "Coming Back to Life" from this concert is amazing. Not sure if you already checked it out but I recommend it
Time is my favourite
Love your hair, Rebeka!
Looking so good!
Keep up the great work!
Rock on!
Thank you.:)
That concert was EPIC!! Gilmour doesn't play the guitar he makes love to it!!
Epic lyrics, True for any generation. I was 23 when I first heard this song, in 73 as part of the album. Don't do the arithmetic. Life's a blurr...Don't get left behind.
one of the best bands of all time
Dark Side Of the Moon .. is the greatest album ever made.
I was a child the first time I heard it and its sound was captivating, already in my adolescence I really "listened" to its lyrics and I was really stunned. sublime and majestic but a reality check that we all need to hear at least once.
PF shows are on another level. Thanks for this reaction.
Thank you.:)
Since pink floyd can no longer tour there's alot of cover bands but far none the best is brit floyd same stage as pulse tour n they play from all the albums! So good that David gilmour has seen them n gave them his blessing and even played with them! Jersey dave
You should listen to the whole Darkside of the Moon album. It holds the record for being on the top 200 for 950 weeks.
Great reaction ! Extraordinary song. 🤩
Thank you.:)
Deepest, darkest sunset ever painted into a song. Masterpiece by Floyd about the greatness and pain of being alive and decaying unnoticed by time.
Rebeka, today we have "Weyes Blood" and their tune "Wild Time" as more than worthy "daughter's response" to these famous fathers of classical.
One hell of a light show.
Promoter- We want to rent your venue for a concert.
Venue Owner- Ok that will be 15,000$$ for 1 night may I ask who the band is.
Promoter- Maybe you have heard of them Pink Floyd
Venue Owner- Oh sure I have but the price just went up to 30,000$$
Promoter - Thats double why such an increase
Venue owner- Because Im going to have an extra 15,000 $$ electric bill that night

I'm a Pink Floyd fan most definitely. From then👈 to then👉👍💪💯♥️ forever. Thank you for giving them a chance.♥️
Great reaction 👏👏👏
Nice hair by the way!!!
Thank you.:)
Beautiful reaction....even when I knew it was coming. His voice, your reaction........priceless
Thank you.:)
So many bands from the 60's, 70's still rockin the scene in 2021 and will into the future whether on spotify, MusicUp, Soundcloud, youtube videos or reactions. It's pretty amazing. Pink Floyd is an example of such great music originally from the 60's. Love your reaction Rebeka. Great hairstyle too! Peace and Cheers :)
Thank you.:)
It amazes me how long some of these guys can keep going. So sad that Neil Peart fell to cancer though. #LongLiveTheLegend
R.I.P Master Neil…..the best Drummer of the galaxy/LYRICS…
Hey! well I didn't expect you Rebeka! There I was, born in 66, life going by.You get used to things; the buses kinda run regularly...... then pow! Cool reaction vids from a cool cool kiddo with sky blue nailvarnish on just the left hand. Magic. Anyhow, yes this is a well loved song.
This song is magic Rebeka ! The guitar
solo is great
Gilmour's guitar is spectacular, but as a lead singer he's almost as spectacular. Perfect fit for the band's music.
Rebeka
David Gilmour, guitarist for Pink Floyd has been doing mini videos with his family such as his daughter, Romany. They do songs together. His gandkids chimed in during each video. Since, no tours or he is fully retired from playing for live events. You see that David is well content with his life. These videos are on his UA-cam channel: David Gilmour.
Love this song too. Get chills at the end. Yet another great reaction
Thank you.:)
5:11 When Gilmour smiles, she smiles too. That's what we call Floydian/Gilmourish...
This was my jam in the 70s. At 65 now & so much enjoy seeing you younglings having the PF experience.
Great gig in the sky, dark side of the moon, have a tissue ready, Ps Claire torrie will enter your sole, for ever, greetings from Scotland and shine on. ✌️
Hi Rebeka, love watching your reaction video's. If you enjoyed Pink Floyd have a peek at the live preformance in Pompei 2016. David Gilmour is 70 at the time but still blows you away. Comfortably numb and the end solo is just amazing. Love from Belgium xxx
So sweet always ❤❤❤
Thank you.:)
Ah, P.U.L.S.E. one of the best live albums ever. Great reaction as always. Cheers!
Thank you.:)
You are adorable and I Love your expressions when your listening to the music
" The Great Gig In The Sky" live or from the album Dark Side Of The Moon is both haunting and beautiful. Keep reacting and experiencing these wonderful songs and performances Rebekah. Stay safe.
I too was going to suggest that song.
Thank you.:)
The entire album is a man's journey thru life, from birth to death!
I've seen Pink Floyd 3 times and they by far had the best stage lighting and laser show of anyone I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of different bands!!!
Mind blowing concerts sober, over the top Mind blowing tripping!!!👍👌✌😎
Another Favorite - Thank You : )
Thank you.:)
Pink Floyd & to some degree Roger Waters concerts are more than just a musical production that entertains the audience, they are complete audio, visual, & even environmental productions, with whole departments & ungodly budgets spent on each to include an accurate understanding of what every single audience member is able to hear, see & feel during every phase of the show, no matter where they are in the audience. It is a complete operatic production which includes set pieces, props, pyro, projection, lighting, audio and included themes and a total story to tell from start to finish of the production. They aim to give the audience the greatest entertainment experience of their life, bar none and doubted by none. There truly is nothing like it.
The list of suggestions to react to by them is long, and almost all live, but truly a worthy adventure to take. Live at Pompeii would be the first, and then just move forward into their Wall tours and every tour after, to include Gilmore's ventures on his own. When you learn that most of Pink Floyd are schooled in Engineering & Architecture, it becomes obvious that they place the focus where they do and how they do. Gilmore's greatest performance is probably his return to Pompeii, Pink Floyd's is probably Pulse although some of the shows in Momentary Lapse of Reason/Delicate Sound of Thunder tour would compete.
Ahhh, memories, I was at Earls Court for one night of this, now in my 50s and many many gigs later, this remains the greatest performance I have or will ever see 👌
You were damn lucky I have seen them 3 times myself here in USA but that was quite a show
@@garywillingham3644 most definitely, my brother and I made a over 500 mile road trip from Aberdeen to London in a rusty old Ford, which pretty much fell apart when we got there, getting stoned all the way down, like something from a cheech and chong movie 😂
You are young and life is long.
great song choice rebeka
Grande david con la chitarra 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎷🎶🎶
Love your reaction. Timeless, unscripted, no holding back. Awesome 👍♥️💯 my reaction to you, reacting....... 👍💪💯♥️
Thank you.:)
I love this song but the guitar solo on the album is so much better. It's easily the best track on the Dark Side of the Moon.
Happy to see you getting in to pink floyd . Shame you wont get to see them live . Each time an album came out , the tournee always was the best show of all time . I always loved the flying pig
I still don’t know how they got so much song in just 6 1/2 minutes. And yes it was incredible to see live.
Awesome song and awesome reaction..Pink Floyd just lives in the soul..
Thank you.:)
Great reaction to a fantastic song.
Thank you.:)
Perfect timing for this reaction. I just restarted my Pink Floyd phase 😁
Thank you.:)
I love this song, Pink Floyd’s musical genius was good way back and will stand the test of Time...... as always love your reaction
Thank you.:)
Rebeka's soooo cool.
turn on 'dark side of the moon' , light up a joint, close your eyes, and let the story begin.
you hair over the past years wow!!! this look is sooooooo much better
Thank you.:)
Love what you did to your hair. Yes Pink Floyd live is beyond a concert or a show. I saw them after they released Momentary Lapse of Reason at Rupp Arena in Lexington Kentucky. In person it goes beyond your excellent reaction to them. Live they are a experience beyond anything you can imagine. No jumping about the stage, just concentration on what they are expressing to you. I have been to many concerts and even a Pink Floyd laser light show at the Hayden Planetarium in New York, but nothing can compare to live. Keep up the great work in finding songs to react to. I have a huge list of esoteric and unusual groups from the 60s and 70s that I would love if you were to discover them.
Thank you.:)
I like that you did a live version. Everyone else does the studio version which is great but it's good to see a live version.
Not only is it good to see it also sounds amazing!
Nice reaction Rebeka, Pink Floyds 1994 Pulse concert has sooo many great performances, including this one. I'd love to see you react to the live version of 'Sorrow' from Pulse, incredible performance! This song is a showcase for the astounding musicianship of Pink Floyd.
Thank you.:)
That first note was a bit wobbly lol. Gilmour is a Legend.
DAMN, girl, your hair is different again.!!!!!
Pulse is one of my favorite pink floyd albums time is a great song
Great version. Wild light show. I agree with all your thoughts about this song. Thanks. .
Thank you.:)
The best track on dark side of the moon keep up the good work Rebekah
Thank you.:)
I was there. Not THERE but at the same tour: Barcelona, July 1994. Alone, 16 years old... One of the best nights of my life.
Ok I know I'm late to this party but if ever a couple of Lyric Lines written half a century ago were totally relevant today & tomorrow, they're in this song!
""And You run & You run to catch up with the Sun but it's sinking.
Racing around to come up behind You again.
The Sun is the same in a relative way but You're older,Shorter of Breath and One Day Closer to Death!"
That's what we do, all of us, all of our lives!
your voice 😻
The lyrics are such that you will superficially understand at any age, but you will only truly understand the deeper meaning when you arrive at certain stages in your life. The first time probably being when you look back for the first time and take stock of your life, maybe somewhere in your 20's generally speaking. Amazing they wrote this around their 30's. I'm guessing they would have another amazing verse or 2 to add now at their age. But best not to mess with a classic.
The lyrics are eloquant, have some nice metaphors and are not too complex, yet have an incredible grasp of how we feel the passage of time. Certainly one of my all time favourite lyrics. Combined with the amazing music, it's just simply amazing.
When I was a teenager I was waisting my time listening the album. Today I keep on and I don't care if the moon eclipses the sun tomorrow.
Esti super ❤❤❤
I was at the Pulse Tour , The Wall tour & Roger Waters The Wall concert 🐷🏟️. There's also " The Great Gig In The Sky " along with " TIME ". - Time & The great Gig in the sky is 2 songs in 1. You have to listen to it non stop . That's how Pink Floyd works. One long song in a full album .
Professional wizardry. Timeless legends.
Earphones are a MUST!
"I love stuff that I don't expect, that's going to happen".
That's pretty much every Floyd track, more so if you listen with headphones on.
Fantastic band. My prefered title : "Shine on you crazy diamond" on "Wish you were here" album, that I bought in the 70's. David Gilmour is one of my prefered guitarists.
Another good choice, Rebeka! 🎼🎸

I feel that you really love music. Merci..! 😊
Darlin' I think you were born 40 years late!! :-O Really enjoy watching you as you experience the music from my youth. (60yo here)
Thank you.:)
It's interesting to see what you listen to overall. I hear you say that you love the unexpected. You're skirting round the genre of early 70's prog music. Pink Floyd, Led Zepellin and even Queen to an extent. Great musicianship and always surprises in mood, time signatures, polyrhythms and lyrically 70's prog offers a wider variation of this than most genres.
Why not jump in and test the genre properly with Rush, Yes and Genesis. There are many more but these 3 are a must.
I'd suggest 'Roundabout' by 'Yes'. 'Firth of Fifth' by 'Genesis' and 'Tom Sawyer' by 'Rush'.
You must do the studio versions first time, not the live versions. Suggest Roundabout is the 2008 Remaster
P.S. I just watched you're reaction to Child in Time from Deep Purple. I'm even more convinced now 😁😁
Comfortably Numb from this concert is unbelievable. Trust me.
I have done a reaction to that song already. Go check it out.:)
@@rebekaluizebudlevskamusic Oh I will! I looked at your playlist I didn’t see it, but never mind. What about Echoes at Pompeii? The boys look so young, just them and the sound and film guys. In an amphitheatre the Romans built just for them

Oh yes, great song! I like what you did with your hair btw! You may already be fully familiar with most of the songs already, but if you're not, you definitely need to go check out oasis.
