I have a strong memory from growing up, remembering Going Live finishing early one Saturday morning because the English and French contractors building the Channel Tunnel had finally met in the middle under the Channel and the machine4y had drilled a hole big enough for the two teams to shake hands and greet each other 😅
Yes!! There was a photo of them shaking hands at the visitors centre. Aw Going Live… loved watching that on a Saturday morning :)

Just got back from a short road trip in our camper van. During the drive and listening to music I was thinking of your song of the day and realized that you should be asking us to give you a song of the day 😄. Well, having been born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan I have to call this song ‘In Hell I’ll Be in Good Company’ by The Dead South. In the music video they are standing in the water fountain in front of the Saskatchewan legislature in Regina. Enjoying April vlogs!

Oh that was so lovely to see samphire hoe, so many memories of that area, happy and sad we scattered my Dads ashes there in 2009.in the sea.
Always love to visit when I visit home.

I love the idea of a "local" to drop into for a pint. I haven't had one close (I mean within walking distance) for ages. I must remember to put that on my list of criteria if/when I move again! I am coming on holiday to the UK later this year and every time you show us somewhere, I add it to my list of "must visit places". I can't wait!
