It's for music. I leave my phone at home when I go to the gym and bring my watch connected to my cellular with all my songs downloaded in case of insufficient cell coverage. Other than that, a watch shouldn't need more storage.

You can do gestures under the ultra 1! You need to go into setting-- accessibility- - gestures. You can even do it on the s7 Apple Watch. Not a huge difference between ultra I & II but some small changes.

From my experience watch belt pretty much change feeling of weight. I have couple belts and in metal design they’re really heavy…. Any with trail loop belt it’s so so lightweight. And I think ultra version for man who want bigger watches.

Something is wrong with the watch on the left. My watch starts much faster (original ultra). I’m not sure about any of the other features such as screen brightness or flashlight as I have yet to use any of those features lol. So far I’m using less than 2 GB of my internal storage so I would have to pay a specialist to fill the rest I suppose
Of you haven't realized that the technology for chips and screen brightness is already out but apple decide not to give you the latest and greatest because they want to milk you for next year for slightly higher brightness and new case colors

I loved the Apple watch Ultra design when it came out, and I still love it. I hope it won't change too much in the next years
therefore, if you have an AWU1... there is really zero reason to upgrade
U2 has some solid advantages, but definitely wouldn't recommend upgrading from 1 to 2.
And best part is that AWU1 is 499$Black Friday special, currently at 550$ on Amazon

Both watches have the double tap option. You just have to turn it on, so have all the previous models. It’s part of the software at this point.

Yup definitely my series 5 has 32gb and I’m only using 9gb which majority is taken by the OS and the apps are all under 30mb each

My Apple Watch SE does the job… the exact same way.
I upgraded from the series 2 to the series 9 before sales stopped here in America and that was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
The Ultra one has tap gestures as well they just don’t work as flawlessly as the ultra 2 FYI
