3 developers able to make a game amalgmating from the fps genre, while Battlefield is a franchise that fails to be a culmination of itself; BF2042 was bare bones starting w/ the score board 💀
you gotta remember though, this game has been in development for 5-7 years, meaning it's gone thru alot of revisions, and this current one has hit the nail on the head for what people want and missed of older games. And that becaue it is a low cost, low poly game that it gets alot of 'Passes' for what it is and does, which AAA games dont, all in all though, it does give alot of what people want and doesnt lean into alot of what we as gamers are tired of in the gaming industry. I really hope alot of studios look at battlebit and re evaluate what they are trying to make as devs/gamers, especially battlefield, as they've lost the plot in the formula they had
I hate voxel/low poly art styles. This game is so good you don't even think about the art direction. You're so engrossed in this experience that it doesn't matter. Watching videos on this does not do it justice. Playing it is amazing.
this isn't a knock on your video but your showcase of chaos in for the 254 player gamemode isn't even near how chaotic it can be. for example, I've been in a push through the metro area on the frugis map with like 20 teammates all shouting and carelessly charging up the tunnels and clearing out swathes of enemies and establishing a foothold near the entrance with dozens of people shooting at any given moment. the game can epitomize chaos and it makes it all that much more fun. also to people who say the game is bad because graphics I would really like to ask them if they'd buy an equally priced walking simulator because it had good graphics. gameplay > graphics. always.
I have a clip of a situation like that on Frugis, but I ended up scrapping it. Frugis feels like what Namak should have been before its rework. Easily one of the best CQC maps in the game.
Only issues I found with the game were ones that will probably be fixed by updates, like the low amount of LMGs and vehicle variety. Looking forward to if they ever add vehicles to the game.
If BattleBit can do for 15 bucks what AAA studios fail to deliver for 70 bucks + microtransactions, I see exactly zero (0) reasons to pay a single cent to any of these woke AAA studios.
Started playing yesterday i threw a nade and got 5 people with it thats not the best part the death vc was 5 grown men saying "Come on barbie lets go party ah ah ah yeah" ended up dying near them and joined in hands down my game of the year so far
I do love the basis of the game, but there are some pretty big issues that need addressed (the recoil on higher damage guns), maybe they should hire that 4th person! lol
Well, you get what deserve. If people keep buying shitty games from shitty companies that only rely on graphics you can only enjoy with graphics cards for thousands of bucks while they cut content and features to save money for development, you only make sure that there will be more and more of this kind of games. Plus gamers nowadays measure games by the amount of bugs or skins they can buy. How many times I read, oh, that game has only a few bugs and glitches and crashes only once in a while, 10/10. or seriously on Steam someone wrote to make BBR for free and instead add a store for skins and microtransactions like…WTF!!! BBR is like those games from the beginning of gaming decades ago: games made by gamers for gamers. Shitloads of content and features for a reasonable price (saying that BBR is way too cheap compared with other shooters). No special super mega editions for a ridiculous amounts of money, nothing to buy ingame, no cheesy features that make you cringe. And the graphics is just to make the game playable for 254 players even on the last potato computer (which is by far the most clever business trick I’ve seen for a long time in the gaming industry - three people made 1,5 million dollars/euros within just two weeks). This game is here to last for the next couple of years for sure!
80 hours is a ton of hours? 2042 Sucks and I hate it and still have hundreds of hours in it. lol BBR is great though, it's the best parts of BF3/4 and Squad, thrown together and it works sooooo well.
“Battlefield isn’t going anywhere” first off your wrong, all the battlefield players have moved to older battlefield games because they simply had better gameplay. 1:57 i believe as I write this, both battlefield 1 and 4 and more players separately than the newest battlefield game.
Or you know it will die once the hype rolls by because the game doesnt have a whole lot of content It doesnt feel like battlefield in the slightest It feels like gmod deathmatch with a lot of players There is no sandbox no teamplay you just camp roofs and spray people at 200m with laser guns
What's all this about "laser guns"? Most have about as much recoil as you'd expect and I've only been landing shots by using semi-auto... I could pretty much snipe people with the PP2000 which is silly but it's armor penetration is appropriately low so I really couldn't kill you if you actually wear a helmet and body armor. Besides, a good chunk of firefights _do_ happen at 200+ meters... People camping roofs? That's what helicopters and grappling hooks are for. Want significant teamplay beyond transportation, tank crews, medics, and rally points (please god use rally points when you're squad lead I've made makeshift bunkers with people)? Play with friends who you know'll stick together.
@@konna6130 It’s just netcode in some lobbies, and it happens every now and then, or at least for me. I’m a level 70 btw. But then again, this game is still in early access, so I’m sure they’ll improve the servers as soon as they can!

the bluedrake bit was hilarious
this isn't a knock on your video but your showcase of chaos in for the 254 player gamemode isn't even near how chaotic it can be. for example, I've been in a push through the metro area on the frugis map with like 20 teammates all shouting and carelessly charging up the tunnels and clearing out swathes of enemies and establishing a foothold near the entrance with dozens of people shooting at any given moment. the game can epitomize chaos and it makes it all that much more fun. also to people who say the game is bad because graphics I would really like to ask them if they'd buy an equally priced walking simulator because it had good graphics. gameplay > graphics.
God I love these devs
"Cheaters: Not this one. Don't buddy, Just don't, this is the real deal right here."
Spend lot of time playing and im having fun
never seen a server launch with that many players on at once and not die in 2 days
i love the bluedrake joke ;) wish he could see this video, he's probably laugh too :)
1:05 accurate asf ❤BlueDrake
If BattleBit can do for 15 bucks what AAA studios fail to deliver for 70 bucks + microtransactions, I see exactly zero (0) reasons to pay a single cent to any of these woke AAA studios.
Started playing yesterday i threw a nade and got 5 people with it thats not the best part the death vc was 5 grown men saying "Come on barbie lets go party ah ah ah yeah" ended up dying near them and joined in hands down my game of the year so far
It’s team play over playing as individuals.
Good graphics can be sold in trailers, also it makes you buy new graphics cards or consoles. Nobody needs insane graphics.
Did you know about Operation Harsh Doorstop?
Like 20hrs in and still haven't played a night map
I do love the basis of the game, but there are some pretty big issues that need addressed (the recoil on higher damage guns), maybe they should hire that 4th person! lol
Oh, how horrible, recoil exists.
something something algorithm
I actually have hard time to start bf right now. Because Battlefield Lego City is the real BF here...^^
Heyy does anyone know how to get the skintones with camo face?
REALLY? It STILL does? AFTER A FEW WEEKS? WAT?
It fun no nonsense cash shop that shutdown later when player count goes down. But this fund by the players and gamer devs.
No servers I join have fun like this anymore. Its all sweaty sweatlords from call of duty
Gotta wonder with battlebits success, who's been DDoS'ing battlebit servers 🤔...
80 hours is a ton of hours?
2042 Sucks and I hate it and still have hundreds of hours in it. lol
BBR is great though, it's the best parts of BF3/4 and Squad, thrown together and it works sooooo well.
Bad Company 2 was the best battlefield imo, Battlefield 3 is 2nd and BF4 is 3rd
hamburger
“Battlefield isn’t going anywhere” first off your wrong, all the battlefield players have moved to older battlefield games because they simply had better gameplay. 1:57 i believe as I write this, both battlefield 1 and 4 and more players separately than the newest battlefield game.
I would rather play this indie, 3 man DEV game than play ANY Battlefield/Call of duty games!
Battlebit slaps 2042
Battlefield V and 2042 have forced TXAA, which is a 200% NO NO. This along makes them unworthy.
your video intro tooooo long bro skip to the point 7:50
but great Video.
6:34 Kills himself when he damages opponents, got it
Or you know it will die once the hype rolls by because the game doesnt have a whole lot of content
It doesnt feel like battlefield in the slightest
It feels like gmod deathmatch with a lot of players
There is no sandbox no teamplay you just camp roofs and spray people at 200m with laser guns
I mean like the game does have its issues, a lot of issues and if they aren’t fixed everyone will hate the game lmao
Such as?
"I dumped quite a number of hours into 2042."
84.2....
As someone who works 40 hours a week and also makes youtube videos on the side, that's like a year in my books, lol.
That's over 3 irl days of playing time. I'd say he got a good grasp of the game by then.....people with lives can't drop 1k hours in a game.
Lol wtf is wrong with people, who play this crap game..
It definetely needs a lot of work, hit detection and balance are pretty much nonexistent... the voice chat stuff is real fun though.
but imo hit detection feels good? and whats wrong with the balance?
@@konna6130 no idea man ive seen people complain but i think its just salt
@@membranealpha5961 I don't think its salt, but I don't think its balance or hit detection, I think its the netcode overall.
@@konna6130 It’s just netcode in some lobbies, and it happens every now and then, or at least for me. I’m a level 70 btw. But then again, this game is still in early access, so I’m sure they’ll improve the servers as soon as they can!
It's called you have a shit router/modem. Probably have russians mining bitcoin off your shit rig lol. No one knows how to assess their own network, so they blame everything else 🤣
Amazing ppl are trying to build momentum for this game by puggy backing off battlefield..
2042 is light years better than this game..
Let the game stand on its own🤷🏾♂️
The only reason you say that is because graphics
I love the bluedrake roast but his team DID help battlebits devs with weapon models.
It's quite embarassing that a game that gets just the most basic stuff right and is made by only 3 people shits all over every AAA FPS out there. The fact it's not really doing anything special yet still manages to get this popular really exposes the shit state of modern high-budget games.
Will they add parachutes plz?
They very intentionally didn't. Parachutes don't work like that.
@@colbyboucher6391 parachutes dont work like what? We didnt even talk about how they would work? Can you atleast finish your whole thought?
@@calabro9092 Presumably you're looking for Battlefield parachutes. At the elevation you'd be jumping here, it doesn't even matter whether the parachute would open fast enough, it wouldn't slow you down quick enough and you'd still break your legs upon landing. There's a reason low-altitude air insertions happen on ropes. You're on a roof? OK, you put yourself there, deal with the fact that getting down will be hairy.
@@colbyboucher6391 yeah i understand what you mean 100% i was just wondering if it could be a thing
@@colbyboucher6391 makes sense thats why i was asking and not saying to put it in game cause it's merely a suggestion
