Hey LevelCap, As a moderator within Battlebit I can answer a few things. Some people refer the ‘snapping’ in spectator screen as hacks, when in fact 99.9% of the time it’s networking. For exploiting, we do ban for with a warning. Depends what they’re doing. All exploits we see are meticulously noted and patched if possible. I’ll further say that reports are all investigated by the relevant team dealt with accurately and (we feel) in good time. Keep up the work.
Kind like in CSGO when people play back demo's to check if someone was cheating and that really funky aim is just poorly captured demo accuracy and lag.
Is there any sort of % of accounts that have been closed due to cheating number you have on hand? I don't doubt you guys are far better at detecting cheaters than people reporting it, but I feel like I die to wall hackers shooting through brush all the time, like a dude every other game. I have my settings on high, so idk if theres something I can change or what but so many times I've died to people def shooting me when they shouldn't have been able to see me (and no not talking about sniper glint)
@@tylerliley264 I'm sure they might release that info in the future, it might be too soon for an accurate amount or might be letting the game settle more to see if more flock in
7:04 BattleBit has this weird duality right now where the game design and mechanics feel geared toward more tactical and methodical gameplay, but the 'optimal' way to play is super aggressive YOLO flanking with your pick of extremely strong SMG or PDW.
The movements are EXTREMELY arcadey and this is what enables the running around and gunning successful players. No stamina, fast running speed, extremely permissive vaulting, fall breaking, mid air direction control. Plus being able to reload, mag opt and heal while sprinting. No wonder people use this to dominate. It's like Unreal Tournament movements with BF gunplay. Edit: no more fall breaking. No more mag opt while sprinting.
It's basically the reason I've stopped playing until the promised Hardcore mode comes out. I'm sick to death of being deleted by the CoD kiddies who dominate every fucking match.
Not everytime, but in most lobbies. Sometimes there's a squad with Wallhack, it's obvious when they don't hide their Steam Profiles, are befriended and have super boosted KDs
@NobbsAndVagene Nah. It's fire superiority and important, because your whole team can spawn at the vehicles. If you drive in and die you miss a big tactical opportunity
And when you dont get caught in it as an innocent. I got reported removed and then let back in because like 3 people reported me but they were wrong. In a way its based because there is the proof democracy is wrong. Instead this time 3 people censor the 4th and the 5th was gifted the power to make a judgement call and they brought me back 😂😂😂 like how they censored all these people at twitter just for it to lose enough value elon musk could afford it and brought babylon bee back. All their hard work censoring people was for nothin 😂😂
@@gigaus0 that gun has literally no recoil it is not hard to kill people from range, that also isnt the only way to use a cheat and full auto you, there are a lot of recoil scripts that are used with certain mice that makes it entirely impossible to detect.
@@gigaus0 honestly most of them aren't cheaters. The vector and smgs in general have a ridiculous amount of range. Besides, vector is just unbalanced as hell
Even if i've ran into a cheater I feel like with the chaotic nature of the game it'd be hard to tell. Like did he snap to my head or just panic fire and get lucky, personally i've had plenty of occasions where i've done the second.
Not really. A lot of the times it’s “that’s weird. How’d he see me coming” you spectate and he’s aiming at people through walls. Or snipers aimbotting with their scopes snapping from person to person.
@@aussiescotsman4145 Who the fk aimbots with a sniper? It's already extremely easy in this game to begin with. Unless you mean they're running at enemies on the front line and doing it, which then they're just dumb.
@@gigaus0 today i saw sniper with aimbot and possibly wallhack. He has like 15x scope and snapping from head to head. At first he was 54-6 so i thought he found good position to snipe groups. But when he reached 70-6 i decided to spectate as i was eating something. Then it became clear, a blatant aimbotter and wallhack as he looked at the wall as if checking someone is flanking him then continued to hit shot after shot without missing. After i reported, he got banned in like 30 sec with final score of 96-7. So yes there are fkers who aimbot with sniper
Sometimes I just point and click at anything that moves in my view while I ADS. I mostly hit team mates cuz I feel like I rarely ever encounter an enemy Even tho I try to insta snap my aim, I still get insta-killed myself. I swear errybody has been oneshotting me, even tho I'm shooting first and getting nithing but hit markers. I don't even take dmg, I just die smh. Sometimes the game is so slow, I can't even fight back
There's going to be cheaters no matter what, even AAA studios can't squash them completely. It's just all about how the devs respond to the cheaters, and Battlebit devs are doing a great job. Spectate mode really does help put to rest if you feel like they're cheating, easy enough to watch and see.
@@disketa25they also won’t see a penny of that until I think September with how payments work on steam. They had to take a loan out just to keep the servers going until they get that $.
This is the first shooter in 8 years or so where I still can play and have fun without feeling like I’m being abused by hackers. It’s been quite some time already, but there have been no cases of people instantly killing everyone, speedhacking, or blowing tanks up with pickaxes from across the map. At all. Impressive.
I've had a handful of blatant cheaters but compared to warzone when cars were flying through walls it has not been bad at all. I love seeing the glorious ban waves and 99% of my time has been nothing but enjoyable. Battlebit really should be a case study.
Ever since these companies started coming into business that provide top notch things like antiddos and big money highly advanced anticheat systems it really has helped. People used to see cheaters and there wasnt even reporting system in place everyone just walked around complaining with no idea what to do 😂
@@toddblankenship7164 i can play every battlefield game on ultra settings and have all of them, but they are just unplayable because of cheaters, quality of the game doesnt really matters when its infested with cheaters, idc how good the graphics are,idk how good the mechanics, idk about anything about the game's quality when i get destroyed by cheaters every single fucking game i get into.
Yup, it's all about TTK (Time to Kill). We can't forget about people who abuse the spectator mode as well. Just have a homie press the spectate button next to deploy, and you can just watch the entire battlefield with a birds eye perspective. Allowing you to give the edge to your friends. Especially if you stream your screen on discord.
Y'know that may actually explain certain deaths I had that I found suspicious. Like the enemy knew where I was even though they shouldn't have, but they clearly aren't cheating because they clearly don't hit every shot or I get to outmanouver them.
I think a lot of people fall into the trap you mentioned here when you said slow methodical shooter with things like revives and magazine consolidation. Under the hood the game was designed as a milsim and it actually has one of the faster TTKs among modern shooters. Its got assault rifles that beam full auto that are 3-4 body shot kills. That being said I have witnessed a lot of suspicious activity among my time so far (only rank 40 at the moment). I play on the flanks a lot and mostly snipe with medium scopes and the amount of times that I have been hiding in cover or prone in bushes and people like 250m away spin around and instantly kill me is substantial. People that have no business knowing im even there will do a 180 and insta kill me as I lean out of a window. I think its hard to tell if you play a medic and stay at the front because its just chaos. As soon as you get to the flanks or play on the sides you start to notice that the people getting god tier flank kill streaks dont even have good enough movement to have gotten there. They just instantly murdered anyone they came into contact with rather than stealthily made their way to a flank.
@@baconation2637 ive reported plenty of people that i watch on spectate after a sketchy kill. or if they just have a sketchy score. but its still a small percentage of those guys (15%?). they've done a very good job of moderating this game in comparison to battlefield, cod, or any other AAA shooters ive played. just my 2 cents, though. some players are just really good, or get a lucky kill streak and fall off for the rest of the round
That’s neat I was one of the players you were spectating in this video I was the guy on screen when you were taking about noobish players with fast reflexes
I'm generally one of the top scoring players on most games so when I'm getting absolutely stomped I spectate whoever is killing me. Most of the time they are very suspicious. Pretty much everyone I have reported has been banned (You get a little text after the banwave) Luckily, the spectator mode in this game is pretty awesome. That being said, I've only seen 5 or 6 cheaters in my overall play time, so I'm not sure the issue is as bad as a lot of people claim.
there is also a few popular youtubers i question a lot when i see how they just literally lock on targets with their vector literally hit with every single bullet, you look way more natural in your vector gameplay as a example and thanks for all the good content :)
bro you deadass made me think back on a few odd games where i get insta rezzed by some rando medic. I figured it was just a glitch or something and that they were rezzing the whole time but the progress bar just didn't show up, but shit I didn't think it was a hack. thanks for this bro, ima try and keep an eye out of medics doing that shit, it'd be nice if we could see who rezzed us so we could report peeps who do that shit easier.
yep, if two medics are ressing/bandaging someone at about the same time, if a second person goes down then the 2nd medic's res will just retarget to the new down right when it completes (since the original target was already ressed). If a medic is dashing around and somehow immediately reviving people with no delay or charge, then that'd be a hack.
I haven't really been looking for cheaters but I haven't really noticed anything obvious in over 100 hours of gametime, I have seen a couple of banwaves though
@@gigaus0 Spectator mode isnt a good justification though. Networking will make peoples aim and movement look very weird so its really hard to say someone is cheating by spectating them even if it looks weird.
Same I dont notice anything and have 60 hours. It seems like the casual players are not used to it when people from competitive shooters play their games. Some people also just have near perfect recoil control, its not unusual to see that from competitive players (especially in games that require little recoil control). However when you go to the casual space like battle bit its new to them and they dont think anyone can be that good.
I personally HATE the super fast COD playstyle that is meta dominant right now. People sprinting around with high fire-rate SMGs and ARs with no armor, wiggling their heads left and right, diving and spinning while spraying people down. Try it out yourself if you don't think it's easy cheese, and if you do it and think it's not easy, you're probably either very biased or unaware of how much more difficult it is to play slow.
I agree I also am unsure what game Levelcap is playing? I just spent an hour watching dozens of players and found at least 2, with maybe 6. Almost all of remainders ran the same meta build and did not communicate or ever pick anyone up. Pure narcissistic play style. I also have not seen almost any players with ANY user reports. Making me think the system isnt working or there is an easy way around the reporting system. Just had someone go 63-1, rarely in a vehicle, 90 percent headshots and was in a squad with 2 people who were just trolling in chat all game. Cheap cheats are everywhere and the anticheat they have is industry standard aka completely underwhelming. Sweats and cheats seem to be about 10-30 percent of most games, and they are truly ruining video games for the average consumer.
I've found Battle Bit really interesting actually. It's the first shooter I have ever played where I feel like my score actually represents my skill. In other shooters in the past I feel like I have always been unfairly dominated- so I gibe up and stop playing after a while. In battle bit as long as I play the role well and how it should be, I am rewarded well and I feel like I can put my hand over those who have always been spastic in CoD like games....
A certain portion of the playerbase _definitely_ likes to blame any death on cheaters over just accepting that they died, and I think those people really hurt games in general and make it harder to catch real cheaters which we know exist.
My KD is 2.30, accuracy is a dogwater 10% and I have gotten a few reports of cheating against me already. Some garbo players are just bad and can't accept it.
@@666Daheretic I mean if you play like 5 127player lobby games and get more than 90 kills you have a good chance to just get some sniping andy with 20 overall kills so it makes sense.
The main problem is there aren't actual good anti-cheats anymore, Easy Anti Cheat and BattleEye which are probably the 2 most known, are terrible, and if you add the game being developed on Unity, well, yeah.. report the players, that is basically all we can do.
I think the most important is to find and the ones who are hard to find. These cheaters are a real issue. The ones who just blatantly cheat without hiding it are easy to get rid of. The real infection are the sneaky cheaters for sure.
Finally gave this game a shot and I gotta say, I felt like multiple matches had aimbots and/or wall hacks as I was getting insta head shotted with ARs in like .1 seconds over and over by players jumping around corners
@@thirtythirty9054 "Wall Hits" wth is that supposed to be? You know theres no wallbangs in this game right and footsteps are extremely loud? I haven't seen a single cheater in over 100 hours in this game.
@@thirtythirty9054 You must be either the most unlucky player or just walking around like a bot. Im level 100 so far and I've only met two people that are cheating or at least I think. Brand new steam accounts level 20 gettings 150+ kills with lots of reports. Idk what wall hits are tho.
Out of my 80 hours of playtime, I have never ever encountered a cheater, and my duo who has a 3.5 KD is always n°1 on the scoreboard when he squad leads. He is 100% legit (background Immo 3 in Valorant, has more than a thousand hour at the highest level of faceit in csgo, etc...), and he gets tons and tons of exploiting reports every match. People just don't know that the top 0.1% is just that good without cheating
I witnessed half the population of a server being wiped out for cheating a couple of times😂. This is the reason why devs is considering to switch to Face It Anticheat.
Some of the remaining bf4 servers use things like battlefield agency, bf4db, and other volunteer groups that track cheaters. Some are auto banned for unrealistic kpm or hskr, but many require video evidence. Many in the community have gotten really good at spotting, spectating, and submitting. The more insidious ones are people who are good, know how the game works, but use walls. Those can take a while. We had a player last over a year despite suspicions till we finally found a clip of him f'ing up.
I haven’t seen any cases of obvious cheating in maybe 40 hrs of play, which is more than I could say for the likes of some AAA games. That said, the state of claymores and AP mines (especially on night maps) is really not fun, hoping they further nerf them, a vector range nerf or recoil increase is also probably due
@@thaskylar3949 Yeah, I knew about that nerf, it probably helped some (particularly in the case where there were support players really abusing them), but I’d still say they’re more prevalent than in any other game I’ve played with similar gadgets. I won’t say there’s zero skill in placing them, but I’d almost rather die to an RPG that at least has to be aimed.
@@ImOnMy116I'm someone that puts AP mines in place. I chose strategic places. I don't got more than 3-5 kills with them per game, same with claymores. I play a balanced style of gunfight and sometimes puts mines down. I don't know how much that is for people only spawning claymores. On the field I often notice and destroy them, and never fall more than once in a trap
I see a lot of wallhackers when I'm playing tbh. Run into random building, peek out under cover, instantly getting shot at with long range automatic fire. Ofc thats community.
Yeah I've resorted to flying heli's because I just can't have fun with the arcadey nature it takes to be top of the scoreboard as infantry. The run and gun bunny hopping drop shotting meta is alive and well.
I've definitely experienced my share of "weird deaths". Guys seemingly knowing where you are or perhaps someone who is consistently headshotting you on every encounter. For the most part though, it doesnt feel like there are a ton of cheaters, right now. It's hard to truly know, like you've mentioned. I think what's much more of an issue is weapon balancing. SMGs, especially the vector, are incredibly overpowered in this game. I understand a lot of the encounters are close range and you should lose those fights with other weapon classes like LMGs and ARs, but my issue with them is the range that they possess. Even a fully well equipped vector or UMP or mp5 should have a significant damage and accuracy falloff after 25-30 meters. I die fairly often to vector from 70-80 meters. All in all though, the game is incredibly fun.
Agree 100% with the CoD comparison. Battlebits has pretty much become much more CoD than Battlefield at this point. Jumping around, drop shotting, etc.. Haven't personally ran into any cheaters that I know of, but have watched a lot of very suspicious players.
I can safely say I was drop shotting on the first day of it's launch but I didn't jump around, parkouring and what not. drop shotting is used when you think he might headshot you so you lie down. I'd take drop shotting over abusing armour and the vector anyday
@@Conbonzx In a way, kinda proving my point. Drop/jump shots are used when you're "outplayed" or someone is a "better shot" than you. It's a lame gimmick/tactic imo. Just get better 🤷
@@Unknown_Genius I disagree about them being easier kills. That's the entire reason they do it, to make tougher to get the headshot. I'm aware drop/jump shotting has been in BF. It's just far far more in the CoD series. I'm just old school when it took far more "skill" to be successful instead using "gimmicks" as a crutch. 🤷♂
Had a guy who i suspected of cheating so I started spectating. Called him out by name in chat (after reporting him) and he responded "?" I said "You do realize you can live spectate people right?" And dude insta left the lobby. If that ain't guilt idk what is
Early on it was pretty easy to spot. But it seems to have died down. From the ones I've recently spectated it looks like most are just using walls, because you can see them doing 360 scans in inclosed buildings. Just weirdly looking at a wall and then pushing in that direction and sure enough they find the enemy players.
theres been this cheat going around called NGO and its been the main subtle aimbot for most of the top players, it does stuff like reduced/no bullet spread, no recoil, unlimited granades, more health, no reload (gun shoots but doesn't use ammo) and other small things that still requires some effort to get kills but any gun is a lazer at any range. p.s NGO stands for (Never, Goes, Outside)

I got reported 9 times last night for going 122-4. I was in a tank with an engi on repairs. We were on sandysunset i believe. That map is a shooting gallery for tanks. I'm just glad their anti-cheat is good enough to not ban people who are legitimately good at the game or just get insanely lucky (me) in a match.
I got to say, I’m level 100 with right at a 3.0 KDR and I don’t think I’ve ran into a single cheater. Compared to other shooters, the cheaters seem very low in numbers
Level 198 here with a 3.1 KD and I’ve only ran into one. He was a level 12 with Chinese characters playing on high ping. He got I think 122 kills and left as soon as the game ended because everyone on the other team pointed out he was cheating in chat. He was on my team though so I’m not 100% sure, but it definitely seemed like he was.
No it's very common to run into cheaters in battlebits because of the horrible anti cheat implementation. There are usually a few in each match. Most of them are garbage.
I've had too many moments where my head got hosed down by bullets the moment I push from cover or try to get the drop on an oblivious building whore. I'd like to believe that their aims were simply on point but the frequency with which it happened has left me highly suspicious. Getting owned by an aug in close rage when you're pushing with an mp5 might be fine the first few times but if it happens all match, something is most definitely up.
7:04 I hate the players who play the game by jumping all around the map, and I hate that I *AM* one of the players that play by jumping all around the map. It's just very hard to turn off a part of my brain that has mastered the movement of these types of games to the point where I do it without thinking about it. It's especially hard to stop since by _consciously_ *not* playing like that, I am willingly inviting myself to get shot when I know I could be playing better. (However, I do avoid using the vector and dropshotting. I think the players who are already good, yet use an OP crutch weapon are cringe). I am all for them adding some hardcore mode to forcefully prevent these types of plays.
There's a lot of suspicious players, and i've seen a lot of bans, so usually just put two and two together. Usually I try to ignore them for the most part, but when you get shot from 1,000+ meters away as soon as you spawn it kinda makes you say hmmm..... From the ones i've spectated so far, hardly any of them try to make anything obvious like the old days, these new cheats hard to tell. From the ones i've seen so far, they tend to acknowledge the where-abouts of the enemy without trying to make look like they're "looking" at them, even out of audible range. We live in the age now where a lot people use "help" without straight up aimbotting, like 50% hacks, and makes it very difficult for us 100% legitimate players to question whether we just got worse with age, or it's because other people are using "help".
Sometimes when you immediately get sniped on spawning in - its because the sniper fired on the teammate you spawned in on, but they moved leaving the snipers bullet heading at you
Great video. What is it about us, as a community, where we want to play AAA but we always SAVAGELY root for the underdog? A long a while ago, a couple of guys modded an EA piece of release. These modders, for not but love of the game, set out on a journey to make what they felt was a solid, fun, re-playable game.. it was called Desert Combat, and it was a mod for Battlefield 1942.. EA swallowed those guys and they started making what many of us call battlefield today. However, once they were swallowed, the game they wanted to make got perverted with every oncoming year and release..and now we all look down on Battlefield with a strong feeling of loss and disappointment. It's nice to have someone to cheer for again.
I'd like to a see a -10/15% movespeed reduction for all classes. Would help slow down the yolo flanks that are currently the meta as well as the parkour medics spamming vectors
I love nothing more than watching those ban-waves roll through and see just how fucking many people are getting banned and man it is nothing short of a beautiful sight.
My go to at the moment for suspect people is be a medic and equip as much smoke as possible. Go back the to area I think they are hanging out and just cover the entire area in smoke. If I get beamed or hit multiple times through that thick smoke then I go straight to spectate. This way I am still playing the game and not wasting my time speculating when watching a player.
It is really weird sometimes how one game you play at the top of the scoreboard, the other the only viable option is to run around as medic and revive.
1:55 There's the thing with that though, because it's 'skilled' player, players who are usually at the top of scoreboards and such, it's incredibly easy for someone who's cheating but hasn't been caught to get in, and then suddenly cover the rest of the cheaters. Basically the idea of the criminal becoming a cop. And if that ends up being the case for BB, the game will quickly die.
yes, there's a possibility for that to happen but highly unlikely since only devs/mods (aka Oki and the boys) and community server owners. Oki and the boys are heavily linked (like way linked xD) and most of the mods are veteran players since 2016-2020, and server owners don't like cheaters so yeah
In my experience there is a big difference between EU and NA servers. Played with some American friends and it is so much nicer or even easier. Except ping is 140ms. On EU though... I haven't seen any aimbots but certainly Wallhack or ESP nearly every other game on EU. And yes it's been nearly completely fresh steam accounts with Steam bans on them already and either cyrillic or asian nicknames (ofc not always but in my experience its at least 80% of the sus cases). It's sad. For me especially its sad how the majority of people seem to consider this normal: level 10 or so accounts going 55:5 with literally multiple VAC bans and even manual bans on their 1-3 year old steam profiles... and they get defended by others in the match. Cynical version of myself can only assume why these people would do so... EDIT: I been playing 64 player servers mostly so far, like 90% of my play time, so one actually fights the same person multiple times and notices things
South America (SA) servers are chaos right now, Brazilian servers are almost completely full of hackers, wallhackers, aimbots and other stuff.....I just play over NA servers which are obviousl with more ping but I have great time there instead of those brazilian servers.
Well, same exact same experience as you do. Nothing else to add. Oh yeah actually one thing : People need to take tutorials on how and where to put down rally points and use the order commands when they are squad leaders. I just double any of the score I can have when I'm the squad leader as opposed to when I'm with a blind one. NB : People who claim there are cheaters in chat and rent for 20 minutes are weaklings, change my mind.
4:46 In my experience, not really. The guys using wallhacks are fairly obvious, either because they'll go into a building where no on is moving, and gun down three or four people getting ready to rush. Or will suddenly turn 90* to look in a house where no running is heard, suddenly start chucking nades or just blow out the wall. I see this more on teammates than I do enemies, for obvious reasons, but it's *extremely* obvious when they're using wallhacks.
Some of them turn and start shooting my corpse when i ping them when im dying xd There was a situation once where i was on the roof and i've seen a guy on ground level aiming at completely different direction maybe 25-30 meters away from me in the moment i pulled the triger to spray him he instantly snapped to me and sent whole mag full auto straight into my head (i was way above and he had no idea about me there). Sadly i didn't report him on time as the round ended :/ Now i have videotrap set up for last minute of gameplay ;p
I joined Battlebit not long ago and am counting on uploading more gameplay footage from it. Here's my take : Upon joining Star Wars Battlefront ( EA). There was so many cheaters, that you couldn't even play. Compared to Battle Bits, If someone is cheating, I never noticed. Even if someone was cheating, there's 250 players in the servers and it doesn't dictate victory or loss. Its a fun game.
-I only have 200hrs in battlebit including playtests but i've only ran into 2 blatant cheaters that entire time -SLIME clan has some very good players. I believe in a game like battlebit in which there are 127 potential targets dropping 100-120 kills isn't really that crazy anymore. In every game at least one player has over 100 kills. If you ran around a map like Salhan conquest 127 with just c4 you could probably get 100 kills no problem. I once sat in one spot for the entire duration of the game on Sandy Sunset Domination and was able to get a score of 79-0. -Battlebit also no longer shows cheating reports on an account only expoiting, toxic behavior, etc -If Kriss Vector ever gets nerfed into the ground top players will just use the next best SMG or AR and still drop high kill games. AsVal used to be the best gun it was nerfed, Ak-47 became the next best thing until it was nerfed, Kriss Vector is now the best best thing even though it has already been nerfed during the playtests over doubling it's horizontal recoil from .5->1.1 -If memory server me right there are 3 or 4 weapons in this game with faster TTKs than the vector -Hate the Vector? Play Ak-15.
It's so awful that people are collectively ruining games that are genuinely good and deserves their success... all games in general but hurts more in these circumstances. Every time I pick up a good game (rare) and it all the sudden has a huge influx of people like Battlebit, the first thing I think is here we go... incoming cheat squads getting in on the hype train. Some really obvious ways I catch cheaters are when I lean a corner while they are shooting another person nowhere near me, but their bullets all the sudden visibly stray to me instantly at the same time. Listening for unusual audio is another way, audibly hearing all bullets landing succinctly from unreasonable distances, but it's not 100%. Also, the wall hacking is pretty bad currently, people constantly doing 180's across the map to shoot at me, constantly prefiring, always knowing where players are. It sucks like you said because it takes a certain level of skill and game sense to comprehend what is reasonable and what isn't with player movement and shooting, and because of that it can take a long time for these cheaters to get caught (or the wrong people getting reported, I had several reports just for killing people in the first week of Early Access). Regardless, the game is doing a great job at keeping the issues down to a minimum, loving it.
Great game, loving it. The glint in the sniper scopes is a hack in and of itself. I can snipe dudes at a ridiculous distance through tree leaves blocking my sight because the glint breaks through everything it seems, except buildings.
1 month later and cheating is WORSE. literally everyone is cheating and hiding it. I have been playing shooters for 20 years! I know what cheats look like.
i ran into someone i think was cheating yesterday... the map was TensaTown, and they were a sniper sitting in the farthest SW corner of the map shooting into our spawn zone. I got one-tapped by this guy at least 4 times before even leaving spawn, and the tree cover was so thick that i couldnt even see the first capture point. on top of that, the map has a medium amount of fog that at about 200m away makes it almost impossible to make out individual players. this dude was sitting in that same spot, not dying, unseen, and beaming our team as we left spawn. totally unacceptable.
I saw a lot of glitchers recently, glichting into the ground and buildings while permanently standing up and laying down. Which seems to move their hitbox flat to the ground.
Ive prestiged once already and have only ran into one blatant cheater. Funny enough, I hopped on the next day and the guy was still blatantly cheating so the ingame report feature doesn't seem to do much. I've had a few sketchy encounters that made me think "maybe" but after spectating them I could tell it was just blatant luck. I almost exclusively play 32v32 though, so there just may be less cheaters in that game mode.
I'm really excited for community servers coming soon. SMG+AR+PDW only servers with small maps would be fun for those looking for more of the COD experience, while they can have other servers dedicated to more tactical play
Ok I watched this video out of curiosity because it appeared on my recommended. I could not help but notice on your clip of Valley with your super FOB in the tunnels. My squad had such a hard time taking that super FOB and I had to sit inside another tunnel and use myself as a rally so we can have constant pressure on the other team. To your team that built that super FOB on Valley. Freaking GG dude! Freaking GG. Of course I convinced my squad to use that FOB for ourselves and were able to hold it for 2 seconds while the other team held it forever. Best and most crazy match ever
Ive got over 10,000 hours in FPS games and ny reason for suspecting someone isnt the mere fact that theyve killed me. Its how they do it and when they do it. Cheaters have no clue how regular battle flow goes and while some can hide it, most cannot.
As in any FPS, BB has cheater problems, but i put in more then a 100 hours now and don't think the problem is too bad in this particular case, its especially satisfying when your playing and the ban wave comes, makes you know the devs or admins or whatever are actually working the problem, i like that a lot.
I cant already see the marketplace for maxed out fully unlocked accounts being sold for 50-200$ and all peopl have to do is aimbot for kills to unlock desirable guns
The most suspicious moment so far was when i was being tracked through multiple rows of bushes, never even made a sound. And sometimes people track through smoke, even in open fields without even seeing you. It might be spray, but it's instant hits from the first shot.
I was in a game with you, aculite, stone and tomo and there was a guy flying arround going through walls and aimbotting. That is the only time I've ever seen anyone that I can say 100% was cheating.
Yeah I saw the comments though I didn't actually see this player myself. It's clear there are cheaters but the observation of cheating has been pretty low for me.
SMG gets a 2000m kill - BAN Sniper holds down right turn while getting consistent no scope kills. - BAN Score looks sus, has no mic, does not revive team mates, keeps getting reported - Suspend (Just to throw them off so they slip up and get BAN.)
False hackusations have become way too common, but understandable I suppose in Battlebit. I did a round in Wakistan where I got 186-0 kd while playing a tank effectively so i ended up getting about 15 reports immediately
Yeah. That's the reason why I don't play too much of this game. It's meta gameplay ain't tactical. Player movement enables a lot of parkour and dashing with no momentum shenanigan
I used to admin on cod2 servers and cs:source. We had the 9th best CS server and top two cod2 servers in the world. I learned how to catch hackers pretty quickly. I was also a very high skilled player and people thought I was a cheater as well. I've noticed a shit ton of hackers, a lot of them aren't good at it. They'll shiit at ur vehicle from far through trees with small arms and realize "oops". Shooting through dense smoke with pure accuracy. Zipping my full life full armored support class with instant death from a vector at 150m plus. I would give a rough guess and say 5-8% of players use some level of hacks.
I reported a guy once who threatened to ddos the battlebit servers in the public chat. Literally 2 minutes later, 4 mods joined the chat, talked to him, and then banned him. It was on the map that looks like Seine crossing at 4am on eu servers. Never have I seen someone get banned so fast in my entire life. Rip Cody you will not be missed.
Hi LC, nice to see you're still going ;) It seems that the good old cheat scene gave up on the public releases entirely (at least the "big players") as it seems with the community system they were getting fed up customers. So, currently the "official" part of non-private releases moved to the classic of no-recoil scripts for mice software, as those are not causing bans at all, or at least as much. So, overall, it's better than expected - I really thought it will be overrun in weeks.
the game has no competitive edge to it, its just pure fun.. and there are still CHEATERS???? i guess some people are as a disappointment in-game as they're in life, pathetic
I actually like to hide in fields, FAR away from anywhere anyone would ever likely go and nestle myself under a rock in a trench behind a couple of bushes. Every time I do it, random people come find me, always from behind. It’s pretty clear esp.
Hey Levelcap. Not really a question about the game, but I'm curious about your gaming headphones. Are you still using the Audio-technica AD700X? Are you still using the same set for over 10 years now or have you had to replace them once or twice?
So I run with a couple people that are regularly part of the top of the leaderboard. One of them got mass reported and banned in a single game because he kept killing the same group of people that weren't playing well. He appealed and was unbanned in 10 minutes. I've also seen someone that had immunity. Standing in the middle of 5 enemies being shot and not dying. I've also been killed with a sub machine gun from across a map before. Stuff happens. And it's much more nuanced than most people think it is
I dont know the game very well, but getting one tapped with a sniper on a split stairwell with no lines of sight to the outside was a report for me. Maybe it was serious lag, IDK. The area was teeming with friendlies, so unless he was freaking invisible, I have no idea how he could have gotten me.
I was playing PUBG yesterday and as a noob with only 40 hours on game "Most of which is me making cinematic shots in replay mode" I have gotten alright at the game and did not encounter hackers until the pregame lobby, some guy was proned while flying at high speed in the air. Lets just say that lobby lacked one player after that lol
I drop top board stats with just M4 and AK74 before. Sometime you can just guess where people would be hiding or from where to flank. Obviously, I would get surprised and flanked too, but snapping from a corner and hosing down a few enemies is nothing weird when you can already hear them. And some people just forget that open mic is, well, open.
I would say that a perfect anti-cheat would have 4 factors that 2 or 3 need to be met which are Software Detection, AI determination from gameplay (currently not that well improved upon currently but looking forward to Anybrain), user reports, and review from admins.
Hey LevelCap,
As a moderator within Battlebit I can answer a few things.
Kind like in CSGO when people play back demo's to check if someone was cheating and that really funky aim is just poorly captured demo accuracy and lag.
kallum, if you presented the spectator mode wiwht a delay of a few seconds would you be able to send more accurate data?

Today my friend asked why we don't do that, and agreed when I told him that it takes out a lot of the fun of the game
They just instantly murdered anyone they came into contact with rather than stealthily made their way to a flank.
sniper glint? or medium scope? if you aren't using medium scope, you should
Battlebit is like a milsim with modern arcade shooter movement speed.
@@onthewall7 I use a medium scope, as I mentioned before.

yep, if two medics are ressing/bandaging someone at about the same time, if a second person goes down then the 2nd medic's res will just retarget to the new down right when it completes (since the original target was already ressed). If a medic is dashing around and somehow immediately reviving people with no delay or charge, then that'd be a hack.

I haven’t seen any cases of obvious cheating in maybe 40 hrs of play, which is more than I could say for the likes of some AAA games.
Unrelated but pretty insane how much more I still like the way BF4 looks over 2042
Agree 100% with the CoD comparison.
I'd take drop shotting over abusing armour and the vector anyday

theres been this cheat going around called NGO and its been the main subtle aimbot for most of the top players, it does stuff like reduced/no bullet spread, no recoil, unlimited granades, more health, no reload (gun shoots but doesn't use ammo) and other small things that still requires some effort to get kills but any gun is a lazer at any range.
p.s NGO stands for (Never, Goes, Outside)
I personally have seen 2 cheaters get banned in that feed. But I’ve seen multiple people get banned for racism lmao.
when you put more resources into banning naughty words rather than focusing on cheaters
@@chrisssyp there is just no cheaters really
@@chrisssyp hey racism is a bit of an issue too you know. Especially when they game looks like Roblox or Minecraft, it will get the attention of children. Maybe during the beginning stages of when the game was released there where cheating ban waves but I haven’t seen that many cheaters. If they are around (we know they are) they will get caught eventually
@@chrisssyp Let's assume that more people do get banned for using racial slurs than for cheating.
Why does that means that the devs put more resources into "banning naughty words"?
@@chrisssypIt's not only about bad words. I saw a guy banned lived for speaking "your mom" and other cuss words repeatedly. That's no cool for children, I try to be gentle with them
All you guys saying “I haven’t seen cheaters” don’t even know what a cheater looks like
I got reported 9 times last night for going 122-4. I was in a tank with an engi on repairs. We were on sandysunset i believe. That map is a shooting gallery for tanks. I'm just glad their anti-cheat is good enough to not ban people who are legitimately good at the game or just get insanely lucky (me) in a match.
I still hope the devs are not going to add faceit. Would not be able to play it anymore.
Irony is your claim to fame is from using bots.
I got to say, I’m level 100 with right at a 3.0 KDR and I don’t think I’ve ran into a single cheater. Compared to other shooters, the cheaters seem very low in numbers
yeah, i am around 80 and i got 60-70hours and don t think i ve seen any
Level 198 here with a 3.1 KD and I’ve only ran into one. He was a level 12 with Chinese characters playing on high ping. He got I think 122 kills and left as soon as the game ended because everyone on the other team pointed out he was cheating in chat. He was on my team though so I’m not 100% sure, but it definitely seemed like he was.
@@brayerkh interesting, ya it doesn’t seem like it’s a huge issue, I feel like their ban waves are doing a ton of work.
@@prestonjohnson1343 Agreed, the ban waves are definitely keeping them at bay for the most part I think.
When you brought up BF's server admins, I instantly thought of Ravic.
The nice thing about battlebits large servers is that if there is a cheater, the odds of you running into them or even seeing them is really low.
No it's very common to run into cheaters in battlebits because of the horrible anti cheat implementation. There are usually a few in each match. Most of them are garbage.
they have estimated 10-20% of 127vs 127 is using some type of cheat. you can do the math.
I was just wondering about this yesterday. Way to many instances of "is that guy cheating or do I just suck" moments. Lol
TTK is also extremely low in this game. People just camp pretty hard and hardscope. That's also an issue sometimes. Especially on bigger maps.
If it's often, then it's you mate !
The movement speed was already nerfed from before but it should really be a movement speed nerf to smgs
I love nothing more than watching those ban-waves roll through and see just how fucking many people are getting banned and man it is nothing short of a beautiful sight.
Dude easy anti cheat is well known as a joke
I’m sure I’ve probably ran into some using wall hack or a soft aimbot, but there hasn’t been a time where I’ve noticed.
I don't know know if I would be able to tell when I'm killed by a cheater in BB, because half the time I am not even sure where I got killed from.
It is really weird sometimes how one game you play at the top of the scoreboard, the other the only viable option is to run around as medic and revive.
Yeah that's me lol. I keep getting insta-killed/1shot by errything or shot in the back, I just decide to run around and revive/heal instead
Cheaters dont hide it anymore, moderators dont even care until they are targeted, another dead game due to zero skill individuals.
Easy Anti-Cheat is a joke and the report button just sends an order to the International Space Station for a ham sandwich on rye bread.
I joined Battlebit not long ago and am counting on uploading more gameplay footage from it. Here's my take :
Upon joining Star Wars Battlefront ( EA). There was so many cheaters, that you couldn't even play. Compared to Battle Bits, If someone is cheating, I never noticed. Even if someone was cheating, there's 250 players in the servers and it doesn't dictate victory or loss. Its a fun game.
Thr cheater will often die of a grenade or a snip shot lol
-I only have 200hrs in battlebit including playtests but i've only ran into 2 blatant cheaters that entire time
-SLIME clan has some very good players.
-Battlebit also no longer shows cheating reports on an account only expoiting, toxic behavior, etc
-If Kriss Vector ever gets nerfed into the ground top players will just use the next best SMG or AR and still drop high kill games. AsVal used to be the best gun it was nerfed, Ak-47 became the next best thing until it was nerfed, Kriss Vector is now the best best thing even though it has already been nerfed during the playtests over doubling it's horizontal recoil from .5->1.1
-If memory server me right there are 3 or 4 weapons in this game with faster TTKs than the vector
-Hate the Vector?
It's cool seeing backround video of someone using the vector and not sweating their balls off
1 month later and cheating is WORSE. literally everyone is cheating and hiding it. I have been playing shooters for 20 years! I know what cheats look like.
I hate that the devs want to add faceit. FaceIt is awful!
i ran into someone i think was cheating yesterday...
the map was TensaTown, and they were a sniper sitting in the farthest SW corner of the map shooting into our spawn zone.
SMG gets a 2000m kill - BAN
Sniper holds down right turn while getting consistent no scope kills. - BAN
Score looks sus, has no mic, does not revive team mates, keeps getting reported - Suspend (Just to throw them off so they slip up and get BAN.)
Im happy you cant see who reported you anymore. I could of def seen that giving more ammo for people to bully because they reported them
I used to admin on cod2 servers and cs:source.
When the amount of "F*ck around" factor increases the "Find out" factor also increases :D
talking about ur message at the 7:00 minute mark, i’m looking forward to their more military sim mode they have planned
Hi LC, nice to see you're still going ;)
It seems that the good old cheat scene gave up on the public releases entirely (at least the "big players") as it seems with the community system they were getting fed up customers.
Are you still using the same set for over 10 years now or have you had to replace them once or twice?
the only bit of hacking i have experienced was being shot through walls where its literally impossible for my limbs to be visible.
