My first drone. I bought the analog one. I've flown it indoors only. Up until getting used to controlling it in Air mode, I had plenty of crashes. Propellers could come off very rarely. No problem, easy to mount it again. But recently I get random RXLOSS and failsafes. I do not know if it is because of overheating or receiver is loose after all those crashes. If I ever learn soldering, repairing or rebuilding my own fpvs, I think I would dare to look for it.
i will look more into the radio configuration. May have a problem with the refresh rate. If it was soldering it would most probably stop working at some point.Overheating shouldn't create this problem.
They sell the frame separately, it looks very durable. I thought about getting a whoopfly 16 frame for my first build. But I can't find any other videos of one ever being built. I can only find BNF reviews. So I'm afraid to try building on one.
I will advise against using this frame. I think it doesn’t have enough air flow. There are comments on this video of people having issues even with analog setups.
All versions of this WhoopFly 16 have the over heating problem. I know it because I fly all versions (I.e., HDZero, Walksnail, Analog, CrossFire and ELRS). On the other hand, I would recommend this drove to most people. To me, the downsides are (1) the GNB27 battery connector limits the use of batteries, and (2) tech support is nearly non-existent. Just keep in mind that this is a fine whoop type drone. It’s motor are powerful enough for carrying a CADDX Peanut, while is good enough for c8nematic shots.
Oh really? You have all models and they have the same overheating warning? That’s a shame. I was expecting to be in one model only… but thanks for letting us know
Hey Daniel, it’s a drone I’ve been interested in, but the biggest problem is that betafpv quality is always dubious, and so far in around 4 years I haven’t had the best of luck with them. If you are looking for something fun with walksnail look at the moblite 7.
@@NordFPV analog , easypeasy. also had my tango repaired. i just finished binding and setting up. now i wait for the gnb27adapter cables to use my whoopstor to charge 🤣
hello thx for the video do u recommend this or cetus x for a first time fpv user ? . i wantd to start fpv drones but im not sure what to get. thank u .
The Cetus is a full kit, which if you are starting may be better. This is a separate drone and you will need to buy goggles, radios, charger, etc, separately

I like that you try the drones and have some quality control before you decide whether to sell them in your store or not :)
Thanks. I’m a small shop, and this is the way to have a differentiator against bigger shops.

Anolog aint leaving dude and why would u turn down anybody offering a lease on ur shelves?
I’m starting to agree with you on the analog part Wes… but I have no idea what you mean with the lease on the shelves?

Can confirm, analog version also overheats.
My analog version does not overheat.@@MarsuCooper
Can you change it to bth 2.0?
@@BreeZieDoesiTthey use A30's now according to the website. Bt 2.0 batteries are the same size and fit in A30 slot
Thanks for the honest review 👍
My pleasure 😊
Thanks for being honest regarding VTX overheating. Do you have any experience with betafpv meteor Walksnail version?

What's a 1S drone, please? I gather it has to do with the battery size.
Yes. A 1S drone is a drone that uses 1S size batteries. It’s normally a very small drone, 65 or 75 mm motor to motor.
i have this one in my little fleet , still need to bind it and set it up 😂
Which version?

when do you think we will see nuclear batteries?
Not soon 🤔
Bought it. Hate it. Pulls hard to the right. Low battery warning comes on instantly. Poor range.
I've had terrible luck with all micros. I think they are just all bad at this point, I'm over them.
Здравствуйкте. На моём sub250 16 температура ядра поднимается до 90 градусов C.
Yeah. No good. I think I read a comment saying all of them overheat.
@@NordFPV I'll buy a micro fan and put it inside.
