    I am new to the whole RC-stuff and was flying in the simulator only, because I don‘t know which setup I want. Now, after watching this video, I am sure that my first drone will be one of this tinywhoops. Sure, the small form factor and the smb soldering isn‘t the best choice for beginners but for tinkering around on the drone itself I will upgrade to a 5“. As controller the TBS Tango 2 looks good. I just need goggles and yes, the drone itself. Wondering how to find out which goggles fits to which drone and how to implement Crossfire. May you have some suggestions on a set which is compatible? I really like the Tango 2 controller. For goggles / drone I am very open. It should be digital though… if possible. Nice videos btw! Keep up the good work! Cheers

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 2 дні тому

      If you are just starting I’ll recommend to go for ELRS instead of crossfire. Crossfire is an excellent radio protocol but drones like the air65 are only made in ELRS because it’s open source and more economical. If you like the shape of the tango 2 look for the jumper bumblebee, I found it to be the same feeling, it’s a new ELRS and much cheaper. For googles look at skyzone goggles. They have the whole range for your pocket. Chose the one fits you better. Cobra X is excellent entry level. O4 o Pro for the high end.

      I think both have their pros and cons. 1s is more for indoor flying, while 2s is great for tighter outdoor spots, where bigger drone may be overkill or dangerous to fly. I'm kind of getting in to 2s and I think I will be flying it outdoors a lot coming summer season.

  • @andershoel78

    As i can understand this is made for practis freestyle in places so you dont disturb others.. I have propwash on my old mobula 6, and was thinking its becouse of the extra weight.. This drone also look a bit heavy..

    • @TrickyFPV420
      @TrickyFPV420 6 днів тому

      this drone does not feel heavy at all, it feels light and nimble to fly, but the prop wash and wobble is caused by something else. hard to say what though...

    • @andershoel78
      @andershoel78 6 днів тому

      @TrickyFPV420 So Whats the weight of this drone and Whats the size of the props? It would be easy to compare to beta 75 pro, 85 pro and mobula 8.. And this is whoops. This one should be a lot lighter then a whoop. To make any sense. If the construction have no purpose, then its difficult to understand. I would like to know, why is it made like it is made, Whats the purpose of it. There must be some kind of explonation of its creation. A small drone buy it, is not enough. As a comparison, take the hummingbird 3,1rs. Its a racing whoop, pure and simple. But what is this. Is it a SUV, but in the quad world? Shiny and attracts attention, but cant drive in the woods. I must have one on the wall beside the Picasso painting...?

      @ its a 2s whoop for freestyle and cruising around your backyard fir beginner pilots, for people who are not so detail focused on their drones as you and likely will not build a drone themselves as they are not as technical as you. This is clearly not for you and that’s ok 😉

    Im very new to the hobby. But I have a question. And I know its probably pretty dumb. How do I know which parts will fit on a particular frame? And which parts work together? Ive been looking for a definitive answer to this and I have been unable to find the answer.

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 7 днів тому

      That’s a hard question. You need to read specifications and make sure you are choosing the right parts that work with each other. When people can’t do this or don’t have the netto do the full research they buy BNF (bind and fly) which are drones already build by a manufacturer who has chosen all the parts for you. Otherwise you copy someone else’s model.

    This is a very helpful review. I have just started using Bambu TPU and this provides some practical application notes. My first impression is that it's closer to the hard end of the scale and less rubbery, so maybe good where some flex is needed but not for say rubbery seals. As you observed, it prints nicely and the finish looks great. @@jasonbelanger6192 I'm not sure I understand your comment. I buy this TPU in bulk and it cost me between 12-15 USD.

    it seems to have less layer adhesion than the regular tpu. didnt think it would break at all.

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 18 днів тому

      Yes, I agree with you. Unfortunately it break quiet easy compared to 95A

  • @tomengman
    @tomengman 18 днів тому

    It prints really really nice because of the high shore hardness (and of course the printer itself), but seing it actually split between the layers with two perimeters regardless of infill... I wouldn't use it for any structural parts or for holding an action cam that's for sure :/ I think that the only way to go multicolor for tough parts is using a multi-extruder system and stick with 80-95A hardness.

    Gonna be doing this with the dji o4 any time soon?

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 18 днів тому

      I'll probably do some videos building with O4 yes, but most frames will require new parts, upgrade kits to fit the big camera of the O4. That means not every frame will be adaptable to O4, and there's a chance that you better wait and build from scratch with a frame designed for the O4 than just try to upgrade the one you have.

    I really like Nordfpv content, but the background music is horrible.

      @NordFPV 19 днів тому

      Sorry you don’t like my music taste 😂. I recommend to mute it and use captions.

    • @Lovlalek
      @Lovlalek 15 днів тому

      You can barely hear it and it's just standard non-distracting background music. I mainly listen to death metal, but I certainly don't want death metal blasted in the background of UA-cam videos

    How does it feel while pinching? I fly with thumbs but I want to change to pinching for more control

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 19 днів тому

      It’s good for pinchers. And with a bit of effort you can find stick end that could make it even better.

    Ive been looking forward to your review on this. It was very insightful to see the limitations and properties of this filament.

      Thank you. I tried to buy this TPU when it launched but it was sold out pretty quickly. I had to wait until just literal week or so ago, and I’ve been working on this video since then.

    I am using A1 mini for multicolor TPU . how ? I set “pause” on the layer where I want a new color and then I unload and load tpu filament manually. Takes lots of efforts , but results are worth it.

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 19 днів тому

      There are several techniques to do multicolor prints, but none as easy as to do multicolor with an AMS. Idex printer or multi head printers will be the best choice but obviously that has a steep price.

      @ let’s see if new Flashforge AD5X will be able to print multicolor TPU as advertised

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 18 днів тому

      In the AD5X you still have quite some distance from the motors pushing the filament on the AFS up to the print head. Despite you can achieve decent prints with a kind of bowden tube configuration, some issues will be expected from my side in this system. Only time will tell.

    Ive talked with AI and it said that there around 30 parts in a FPV drone. I wish to see everything I can 3d print with the best filaments to minimize cost on the frame and other parts to start selling FPV drones that can compete with DJI but cost a fraction of the price and made in america.

    • @NordFPV
      @NordFPV 19 днів тому

      You can print only accessories. The main parts of the drone as the frame can’t be printed. They need to be in carbon fiber.
