@@michaelziakI think Toroline actually sells his particular hybrid combo in a package under the name "K-Pro" (guess the K is for Karue?). He recently uploaded a short announcing a new combo called "K-Pop", which is basically the same but in a slightly softer version, so maybe this match was actually prior to that clip and that's why he couldn't yet talk about it.

Karue had had 8 service winners vs Clay's 14. Clay's serve is huuuge. I tried to time his ace at 10:58 by counting the video frames and using an online serve speed calculator, it's about 130mph. It also bounced in the fence about 5 feet high! Karue's serve at 11:23 would be about 110mph.
But Karue's serve placement is crazy good. Also, he won 79% of 2nd serve points which helped him hold pretty easily.

I loved the reactions after points, both these guys are hilarious. Karus variety really won the set, loved watching some serve and volley thrown in.
Watching Karu return the ball down the middle with pace really also helped him put pressure on the return even when Clay was bombing them.
Great format and commentary, tennis in its purest form. Also great editing!

I have wanted to see tis for so long. It went exactly as I expected :) Karue has very Agassi-like technique all around. That's extremely hard to beat.

Karue’s got amazingly compact, efficient strokes. Everything with him is smooth, and with the proliferation of heavy topspin ground games these days, it’s fun to see such a flat hitter up close… us mere mortals know how hard it is to do that consistently! Clay’s the type of player (big serve, big power, maybe a little less laterally mobile than shorter guys) who needs to win the point in 4 shots or less; I think his type of game “ages” a little less well as he doesn’t practice at this level as much as his playing days - you can see when the serve is on, he’s untouchable, but with less practice playing all out, Karue’s consistent pressure won out. Amazing context, 100x better than ESPN/TC as you can feel the speed, the margins, the skill so much better with this intimate formate. Nice work, Winston!

I enjoy watching both actually. But I must say that watching your content I learn a lot watching on regular tennis courts. I can relate to it more I guess. Thanks for sharing, Rodney 👍🏾🎾👊🏾

First, I thought the camera is set too low. However, I think it shows the "real" speed of the strokes. Clay's kick server bounced so high, and Karue, what a backhand. So effortless.
