Sweet job....very nice way to display a big Buck....a lot better than the way my wife displays one, on the front of her new cars, and I bet you good money its a lot less expensive!
Feddie, loved the project. But the push sticks should be sold in a set of 4. Cause you know there would be the progression from "teaser" on. Count me in for a couple when they're up.
That looks flipping great,,, cut in half, add some holes and you could have some nice stands for the back deck/patio also for momma's plants,,, Again great job.
+Dave's woodworks Thanks Dave. I appreciate the compliment! Checked out your channel. You've got mad skills on the scroll saw, Brother! Saw you are in No Cal. I'm gonna be at Maker Faire this week in San Fran. Look me up if you are there!
It came out very nice! The only thing I would have done different is not to have the big flat bottom. To great of a chance it would rock on a uneven floor. I would have mounted the mdf a couple inches high so the pedestal was siting on the edge.
So sorry I am just now replying. I thought I did.... Yes, I have some in stock and could have one to you by Christmas. Just go to my website to order. That link is on my channel. Thanks for watching!
Really nice job! Clearly been a hot minute since you posted this video but I'm curious if/what did you use to weight the base to prevent it being top heavy? I have a P&Y Shoulder Elk mount I would like to put on a pedestal instead of wall but can't afford to pay a thousand (+) dollars. Since it's considerably larger than a deer, I'm wondering if this could be adapted to accommodate.
I have not offered them for sell but I am getting a lot of requests now. :-) I have to be gone for a few days but I will try to put up a pre-order page on the site and try to get about 20-25 pre-orders and just batch them out as requested. I'll post something on the Facebook page when I do.
Thanks George. Three things. 1). Had a good $ year and had to spend some for tax purposes. 2). Dust collection! 3) the Festool can be placed against a wall and still operate normally.
Hi Feddie, thanks again for another entertaining and well produced video. It really shows you put a lot of time and energy into both the project and the video itself. I started my channel a few months ago and only now realize how much time and energy go into producing quality content. Thanks again for everything you share and if you find the time, please visit my small but growing channel and maybe even consider subscribing... :-) Regards from the Netherlands.
Incredible workmanship ! Great buck !
You're right Feddie. I've nevertheless seen a mount like that before but the deer sure is nice. And the pedestal turned out great, man. Nice job! Troy
+secondwind75 Thanks for the kind words, Troy. I really appreciate it!
Is there anyway to get the board measurements for this project? Looking at giving it a go but dont know what size boards are being used here
who would thumbs down this? this is awesome!
Awesome way to display a deer. I'll have to borrow that one.
+Terry Lyons Let's make one in your shop and veneer it in copper!
Great build Feddie, the frame approach was a unique way to solve that problem. I was supposed to mail you a 9 volt for that smoke alarm.

What is the total cost to make if you don’t mind me asking
Wow, nice work. All those angles, I'm sure I would have built it three times over with all my messed up cuts not fitting right.
Looks Great.
What kind of wood is that? Whatd you charge for that base?
nice job Feddie!

Your smoke detector beep was freaking my dogs out, and it had me checking mine for a minute.

Very well done!
Nice build. What kind of wood did you use
I think I read somewhere in description or on screen text he used cedar.
Very cool. Did you have to preserve the log or left out natural?
BEST PUSH STICKS EVER!!!
Excellent video, very detailed and informative, Thanks for sharing. Did you do any kind of topcoat or finish on the pedestal?
Awesome job
Did you make that shocker push stick or did you buy it?

That dear looks good in a trucker hat! What happened to the pink and brown?
+Greg's Garage Haha. Thanks for checking it, Greg. The pink and brown one is a signed, limited edition. Way too valuable to actually use.... :-)
Hey Feddie, cool video as always, where can I get a shocker stick??
+wayne creech Thanks for checking in, Wayne. Good to hear from you. I make those push sticks on the CNC machine.
+blazingnailgun do you sell them? I looked on your site but didnt see any..
I have not offered them for sell but I am getting a lot of requests now. :-) I have to be gone for a few days but I will try to put up a pre-order page on the site and try to get about 20-25 pre-orders and just batch them out as requested. I'll post something on the Facebook page when I do.
Nice Job Are You Buying One of everything from Fes Tool.
+Milton Fludgecow I'm drinking the cool aid, Brother. And man, is it expensive... :-)
Wonder what a European mount would look like on a pedestal like that?
shocker push stick? ha. did you make it or buy it?
+Anthony Tobias Thanks for checking in, Anthony. I make them on the CNC.
Hey Fred, like the project...question is see you changed from a Dewalt chop saw to a Festool, Why?
Thanks George. Three things. 1). Had a good $ year and had to spend some for tax purposes. 2). Dust collection! 3) the Festool can be placed against a wall and still operate normally.
Long time no see my friend !!! Welcome back ! P.S. Love the "Shocker Stick" !
Great job!!
+Missy George Thanks!
Awesome job!
Thanks brother!

+Matt Lane You knew it would make an appearance, huh.... :-)
+blazingnailgun where can I buy one? Lol
Someone has upgraded to a bunch of powermatic tools since the last videos
very cool!
sweet
+Matt Diresta Thanks for watching, Matt. I appreciate the encouragement!
After showing my adult son the video, he said the "teaser" should be made for 1/2 stock or smaller, while the "Shocker" needs to be used only once.
Is that smoke alarm driving you crazy again?
+thermmaloverload YES!!!!!
That did it I Won't be watching you anymore now that you have that machine that's not good working
Don't understand what you mean, Tom.
Anywhere to get plans/drawings?
