Totally deserved praise ^^ congratulations to be on the WD and amazing idea and conversion^^
The new size is awful and I canceled my sub for it. It's a lot smaller, both in size and print length i believe, and besides looking awful next to the other ones I have, it will amount to less printed text on the pages that are there still
I haven't noticed at the beginning the side decreased.
The amount of Lines used are 60 each coloums for the previous ones, 57 the new one.
144 Pages old ones (covers and retro cover are not counted for both) vs 128 pages the new ones.
I admit I was focused on the contents (i noticed the Black library missing) and not the size.
I still think it's worth but I perfectly understand why It can upset too.
Another example of shrinkification.
@deynonmod yeah, and I can't remember if you mentioned it but the issue number is written as 501 with the 5 or the 5 and 0 faded to suggest its issue 1.
I've been an on again off again subscriber and much more often issue at a time for buyer for like 25 years and have seen several restarts and format changes to the magazine, so that's normal. But after my subscription turned into "Vissions" a decade back without warning or repayment of lost value I have little faith or patience for the WD and will gladly get what I need off of others online or buy the occasional pertinent to me issue if and when that happens.
I really liked the last style and dislike this drop in scale as it's yet another weird size issue for my shelf, so thankfully this was the last issue of my sub and I can cut free again
