- Rehan Staton, a former sanitation worker from Maryland, once struggled in school. But thanks to encouragement from his coworkers, he pursued his education, followed his dreams - and just got into Harvard Law School.

See anybody can reach their dreams, it's all commitment! I slogged my way through countless jobs to build experience and worked hard. Made my pay raise from 7.25 minimum wage to $22.80, sadly tho it's still not enough to provide for my wife and kids. But I still have hope, one day I will wake up and not think of bills, but think about what will I do today with my family. God bless everyone!

Congrats. Had a guy tell me not to ever tell anyone this but idc. I'm smart anyway. An alot brighter than most. I was told I had a learning disorder (copd) in the 3rd grade. Busted out crying. Once i got into the 6 grade I watch 2 of my friends get a gold star an they got out of what they call special education in their 8th grade. I never got a gold star. But yet I did get to put on that pilot suit in the 6 grade. Witch was my passion at the time until I found music later. once I got into the 10th grade I finally gradually got out of self contain classes. I wasnt doing good in school cause I didnt like school. I told my self I wouldnt drop out an hoped I would walk with my friends an get my diploma. They brought me into the office an told me the news. I walked out crying. Failed by 1 credit. I went to adult education an aced that history class with a 98%. Cause I payed attention. I dont believe the human mind is fully developed at a young age. Nevertheless i Achived my high school diploma an walked with my adult education class. It was the best day of my life even though its just a diploma to me. Now looking for a better oprotunity awhile waiting on a charge to get dropped. Your not the only one brotha. Hoping I can achieve somthin good in life too. God bless.

I meannn, nice story, but it sounds like he had a job while in high school--yes, sanitation, but still a job. And, then he went to college, was super smart, and then got into an ivy league. Nothing surprising about that. Title makes it seem like some random trash worker took the LSAT and blew the doors off Harvard. That kind of stuff doesn't happen. He worked hard to get to where he is going just like every single person who ever got into Harvard. Not sure there is anything to see here.
This is heartwarming. This young man has been accepted, to pay over 50k a year, for zoom meetings, and for the prestigious opportunity to get a degree, that will be absolutely worthless, because there are no jobs to be had. Proud of you my guy.
