1992 Geo metro lsi new distributor 1 0l 3 cyl g10 reman dist. spark good now

Watch as I replace this Geo Metro lsi g10 3 cyl distributor with a good, remanufactured unit. The old one was letting a little oil seep into the distributor cap area, and I knew it wouldn't be long before it shorted out the module or created some other spark or timing related issue.

Why not just replace the O ring?

He plans on keeping this car. If he’s going to replace the o ring why not re place the whole thing. You’re gonna disconnect it anyways might as well put brand new parts in there
