I remember the Sephora store in Bluewater 20 years ago! I was in my early 20s and I was obsessed with the place and was heartbroken when they left, because they had brands like Stila which back then wasn't available anywhere else in the UK.
Sephora was in the UK years ago. There was one in Bluewater and there is a shop outside London Charing Cross station that still has the Sephora black and white stripes on the wall.
The Shiseido sunscreen is an oldie but goodie for me. I’ve used it off and on for over a decade now and it’s one of my faves. My mom first introduced me to it because she’d been using it for years as well. It’s beautiful on oily skin and underneath makeup. I’ve really enjoyed the innisfree green tea moisturizer. As a winter night cream, it does a great job keeping my skin hydrated and supple. I’ve also had a knarly cold and my nose is dry and cracked from blowing it so much. This has helped keep that area moisturized.
I’m so old, I remember Sephora had a store for a few years in Bluewater shopping Center in the early 00’s. I only went once and was so looking forward to my next visit only to find it had closed down. I remember discussing it with a make up artist I think in Selfridges or someplace after. She said the British weren’t ready for Sephora’s concept yet 😂 Now I live in Spain where Sephora is everywhere like Boots!
Would definitely agree that there’s nothing quite like being in the physical store vs online. My office building is directly across the street from a Sephora and it’s a blessing and a curse… 😅

Sephora in France is the devil of temptation, I can't go there without wanting to buy half of the store despite the fact that the prices are generally quite high compared to the stores on the internet. The advantage, and they know it, is that they have brand exclusives in their physical stores, so practical because you don't have to wait for delivery. And their own brand, whether in skincare or make-up, is very, very qualitative for most products.

James! I love commodity too. I managed to get my hands on the sample kit (expressive). So far I’m in love with Moss and Paper. I heard that some ppl can’t smell paper on the skin. I tested paper on my mom and husband. My husband can smell it but my mom can’t lol all she can smell is alcohol. It’s so trippy! Love your videos ❤
I love Commodity Milk, will be nice to smell the others. I've honestly been really disappointed with the launch, I think a lot of people were expecting more brands not already in the UK, will be nice to be able to test some stuff tho. Unfortunately Sephora customer service is appalling and their codes are so restricted! They email about one a week and it's so many brands excluded compared to Cult Beauty. Your code isn't usable for Commodity, Glow Recipe, SkinFix, Kosas and *loads* of others, such a shame (I know it's not up to you! it's just a strange decision by them as they're brands you're talking about). I'll be sticking with Cult Beauty!

I’ve been avoiding pore strips like the plague 😂😂 but these work so good! Idk what’s up with my skin but ever since I hit my 30s it’s like boom time to go thru the awkward breakout stages 😩. We seem to have the same taste in sleeping masks, so I think you might like it. It's better than their actual sleeping mask. It's a little sticky feeling but it really stays on all night.

when I was younger, like 18, whenever I walked into a sephora it always reminded me of heaven and I would be so dramatic when walking in. later I would take selfies of the entrance lmao
The sheshaido sunscreen was great on my body but WAY too greasy on my face. But I still buy it bc it gives a great glow on my ebony skin...a goddess of I do say so myself! 😂 I think that sunscreen needs to be on everyone's body!!! 🙌🏾
Ok seriously, the Sephora brand Bakuchiol Targeted Anti aging Serum is one of my faves!🖤🖤 I saw next day results on my fine lines especially on my deepest wrinkle between my eyebrows is almost nonexistent after 2 months of use. 10/10 recommend!! 🥰 I'm going to try the other products in the sephora brand when my current routine bottles are empty. I like to build a cohesive targeted skincare routine instead of just slathering things on to try and throw things off balance.

Ok seriously, the Sephora brand Bakuchiol Targeted Anti aging Serum is one of my faves!🖤🖤 I saw next day results on my fine lines especially on my deepest wrinkle between my eyebrows is almost nonexistent after 2 months of use. 10/10 recommend!! 🥰
I'm going to try the other products in the sephora brand when my current routine bottles are empty. I like to build a cohesive targeted skincare routine instead of just slathering things on to try and throw things off balance.
