Hey Robert! Sephora Collection has a dupe for the NARS matte lip balm. If you haven’t tried this formula, it’s amazing ESPECIALLY for someone like you who likes just a wash of color on your lips!! I first thought a matte balm was an oxymoron, but the NARS matte balm is a matte wash of color that glides on and feels so comfortable…even a bit hydrating! I wear Unrestricted. The Sephora collection makes a dupe for this NARS formula called the Sheer Matte Lip Balm. In that line the color Pink is identical to the shade I wear, and they look pretty much exactly the same. The two differences I noticed is that once and awhile the Sephora lippie may apply a little less smoothly and that they can smell a bit waxy. If you don’t mind either, the Sephora option looks pretty much exactly like the NARS formula. Anyway! It is my go to lip at the moment!❤

I always found it so odd that Sephora, a European brand, has been in Australia for years yet not in the UK. Usually us Aussies are the last to get everything! I'm so excited for you to be able to go have fun Sephora trips to play with everything new whenever you want like we always have. ☺️☺️
Sephora did try in the UK a couple of decades or so ago, but I think their store set up wasn't right for the market at the time which was very dominated by more counter style service. They didn't do well, so they pulled out. Whereas now the whole thing has moved so much more to self-service, so many of those old competitors are struggling or have gone already, and Sephora now has this status in the UK of "why don't we have them?" so the hype is there
Tell me how I bought a mascara, lip plumper and concealer and spent over 100$. I didn’t care much because it was tax time but seeing them in my drawer makes me sick 😂😅
I have the app downloaded on my boyfriend's phone because if it's on mine I spend hundreds of dollars absentmindedly. I use it for my skincare though so I need to use it occasionally, but I do it with his supervision (per my request of course LOL)
the best skin ever line is extremely underrated!!! It beats ANY foundation and concealer I’ve ever tried. Pair it with the leneige primer and the one size powder and your skin will look flawless.
Remember, at Sephora you can get samples meaning they squeeze out tester foundation for example for you to bring home and try. Enjoy! I have a couple of stores within 10 miles of me, but I always shop online lol. The stores are so often picked over/light on inventory.

The Milk eye primer is soooo underrated! I never hear anyone talking about it! I use it under my eyes and it smooths everything out and makes concealer look incredible and stay in place all day. Everyone needs to try it! They sell it on Amazon too but it’s always iffy whether you will get the real thing or not. Try the eye primer UNDER your eyes!

I got the Glow Recipe Strawberry toner recently, and omg my t zone(where I've been using it) is SO SOFT now🤣🤣🤣 I can't stop touching my nose, it's crazy how soft my skin is. I have super dry skin with eczema and rosacea, so my skin is always textured. Oh, and ive been slowly collecting the Danessa Myricks gel chrome flake pots, I now have 4 of them, and the last like week I've been leaving my lids bare and using one of them in my inner corner, and I also bring my inner corner highlight up above my crease. I have hooded eyes and I just think it's super flattering.
Having a Sephora store in London is basically no different for me from visiting the USA and going to Sephora. I hope they put one up here in Scotland, preferably in Edinburgh but it would probably end up in Glasgow. I'm happy that One Size and Gvxe are at Sephora UK but wish they would also bring Haus Labs and Patrick Ta. I can obviously order from Sephora UK, but it's not the same as being able to swatch items (especially base products) and feel textures. I'm glad we have H Beauty in Edinburgh as it means I can now try Pat McGrath Labs in person.
We recently got a stand-alone Sephora in my city and I was just as giddy! As a beauty enthusiast I completely understand the excitement. It’s such a fun experience to look at and touch products you’ve only seen online. So I don’t think it sounds stupid at all 😊💚

I remember going to my dad’s in NYC as a tween and being so amazed by the Sephora near his apt, but when I went to the one in Times Square for the first time, it was so insane. Glad you get to shop there now whenever you want! Loved the video ❤ I use craft tape sometimes to sharpen up my eyeshadow and it makes the whole experience so much more fun using different cute floral and colorful tape designs haha. Love that technique! ❤
When I was 16, in the year 2000! I had my first retail job in Bluewater shopping centre, Kent, there was a Sephora downstairs and I bought my first perfume- Aqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani, from there. I asked for a job as I loved it so much, and never heard back. I remember the black and white stripes and red lipstick the staff wore!
My fave Sephora collection purchase is their eye shadow/liner sticks! They come in so many colors and just glide nicely. Also their rogue lacquer lipsticks are a really nice high shine formula.
Sephora collection items are so good for the price. The micro smooth powder is amazing. The cream lip stains are my go to. Brow pencils are good too, a prefer them over Anastasia. A lot of their products are made in the same factories as higher price brands, but with a lower price.
I love how excited you are that makes my heart happy… The Sephora‘s around me in Pennsylvania… Then I also travel to Syracuse New York… They have a big-ish Sephora… But I find I do most of my shopping online because a lot of the times the stores are out of things. Plus I get anxiety having all the other people around me when I’m trying to really look and shop like they’re waiting to look too or I have a associate up my ass asking if I need help every five minutes which sometimes I appreciate but other times I feel like they’re watching me. Even though I say all these things when I’m near a Sephora I always go to it still lol. But I do shop online now for the most part! Happy shopping

Being exicted about a Sephora opening ain't stupid. I felt the exact same when they opened in Germany. I literally remember shifting my work schedeule around to go on opening day. It was that exciting and now they have an entire store in my hometown and I nearly fall on to my knees when I first saw it. Again it's okay to be excited.
I first learned that technique you used with cardboard from Wayne Goss years ago and it's so extremely helpful for my hooded eyes. I usually use the cardboard from all the free Sephora samples for it. For Sephora brand favs they have the best light cool neutral nude lip liner shade for fair skin. In their retractable lip liners in I think it's the nudest. The color is amazing. I only wish the formula wasn't as creamy...lil too creamy. But it's so hard to find a fair neutral to cool nude lip liner that's not peach/pink or weirdly yellow. Amanda Z on YT has awesome vids on the best hidden gems of Sephora brand collection items. specifically single shadows.
Idea for a video! Hi Robert! U are too gorgeous I can barely handle it. I would love a video where u explain the different face brush types, why they are shaped the way they are and how to best use them. U did a Britney Brosk video two years ago and u explained why an angle brush is shaped like that. Id love to hear more! Also, I need help with properly hooded eyes. Yours are hooded a bit but its difficult to apply the advice to eyes that are alot more hooded. Not sure how you would even do that, but it would help alot to get ur advice. Love your videos❤

The Sephora best skin foundation is said to be a dupe for the Georgio Armani luminous silk foundation and the best skin concealer is also a dupe of the Armani concealer. I understand how exciting it is that Sephora is opening in the UK. From Belgium I need to go to France for my closest Sephora. Luckily Lille is only about two hours away, but it still makes it a rare occasion and a day to look forward to when I get to go. I would love to go to the one in Paris on the Champs Ellysée. It feels magical like going to Disneyland.

I remember when Sephora originally launched in the UK. I used to go there in the late 90s/early 2000s but it wasn't as good as it looks now. Even though beauty products always sell, the beauty industry now is so different to back then and we didn't have the US brands we have today. I really hope they open some more Sephora stores in time as I'd love to go.

The products I buy most from Sephora: Glow Recipe Watermelon toner and Plum moisturizer. Lancome Lash Idole mascara Rare Beauty mascara Inkey List Succinic acid treatment And ive been buying lots of Danessa Myricks products lately. I really love her gel chrome flakes🙌🙌 I do more shopping at Ulta tbh because I like their rewards system more. And I really haven't been buying makeup like I used to. I've had such a big collection for so long now, I spend more money on skincare now, and when I get makeup it's either mascara, a lip gloss/oil, or some sort of eyeshadow, I just don't buy other products anymore🤷♀️
I like their pro brushes a lot (specifically the sephora pro brush line, I'm sure the other Sephora brushes are nice too, but I haven't tried them). And I'm starting to amass quite the collection of the Sephora colorful magnetic eyeshadows/colorful eyeshadow monos. There seems to be a lot of finish variation within the range, and I specifically like this smooth sparkly cream formula that is mostly present in the 'metal effect' finish (though not all of them) and also some of the shimmer effect and glitter effect shadows. Shock choc is my fav from the line, and one of my fav one and done shadows.
There's actually people in the US that's never been to a Sephora store! There isn't one anywhere near me & I can't travel very far (money issues) it's just not possible for me. Love seeing u excited!

Having a Sephora store in London is basically no different for me from visiting the USA and going to Sephora. I hope they put one up here in Scotland, preferably in Edinburgh but it would probably end up in Glasgow.
I'm happy that One Size and Gvxe are at Sephora UK but wish they would also bring Haus Labs and Patrick Ta. I can obviously order from Sephora UK, but it's not the same as being able to swatch items (especially base products) and feel textures.
I'm glad we have H Beauty in Edinburgh as it means I can now try Pat McGrath Labs in person.

We recently got a stand-alone Sephora in my city and I was just as giddy! As a beauty enthusiast I completely understand the excitement. It’s such a fun experience to look at and touch products you’ve only seen online. So I don’t think it sounds stupid at all 😊💚

I’m so excited you guys finally got a store! Sephora is a magical place. I remember going to my dad’s in NYC as a tween and being so amazed by the Sephora near his apt, but when I went to the one in Times Square for the first time, it was so insane. Glad you get to shop there now whenever you want! Loved the video ❤ I use craft tape sometimes to sharpen up my eyeshadow and it makes the whole experience so much more fun using different cute floral and colorful tape designs haha. Love that technique! ❤
Thin Paper medical tape works PHENOMENAL. It's lays flat, holds the fall out sooooo well - it clings to it, its $2 for a jumbo roll!

When I was 16, in the year 2000! I had my first retail job in Bluewater shopping centre, Kent, there was a Sephora downstairs and I bought my first perfume- Aqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani, from there. I asked for a job as I loved it so much, and never heard back. I remember the black and white stripes and red lipstick the staff wore!

My fave Sephora collection purchase is their eye shadow/liner sticks! They come in so many colors and just glide nicely. Also their rogue lacquer lipsticks are a really nice high shine formula.
As someone who doesn't have Sephora store in her country I totally understand your excitement about getting one in the UK.
Sephora collection items are so good for the price. The micro smooth powder is amazing. The cream lip stains are my go to. Brow pencils are good too, a prefer them over Anastasia. A lot of their products are made in the same factories as higher price brands, but with a lower price.
I love how excited you are that makes my heart happy… The Sephora‘s around me in Pennsylvania… Then I also travel to Syracuse New York… They have a big-ish Sephora… But I find I do most of my shopping online because a lot of the times the stores are out of things. Plus I get anxiety having all the other people around me when I’m trying to really look and shop like they’re waiting to look too or I have a associate up my ass asking if I need help every five minutes which sometimes I appreciate but other times I feel like they’re watching me. Even though I say all these things when I’m near a Sephora I always go to it still lol. But I do shop online now for the most part! Happy shopping

Sephora being French brand you would think it would be all over Europe. But I'm glad that you know the struggle not having it! In fact, we barely get anything here in Finland.. I mean even Swedes have Sephora!

Being exicted about a Sephora opening ain't stupid. I felt the exact same when they opened in Germany. I literally remember shifting my work schedeule around to go on opening day. It was that exciting and now they have an entire store in my hometown and I nearly fall on to my knees when I first saw it. Again it's okay to be excited.

I first learned that technique you used with cardboard from Wayne Goss years ago and it's so extremely helpful for my hooded eyes. I usually use the cardboard from all the free Sephora samples for it.
For Sephora brand favs they have the best light cool neutral nude lip liner shade for fair skin. In their retractable lip liners in I think it's the nudest. The color is amazing. I only wish the formula wasn't as creamy...lil too creamy. But it's so hard to find a fair neutral to cool nude lip liner that's not peach/pink or weirdly yellow.

Also, I need help with properly hooded eyes. Yours are hooded a bit but its difficult to apply the advice to eyes that are alot more hooded. Not sure how you would even do that, but it would help alot to get ur advice.

The Sephora best skin foundation is said to be a dupe for the Georgio Armani luminous silk foundation and the best skin concealer is also a dupe of the Armani concealer. I love both of them and also affordable. Living in the Europe I’m now jealous that Sephora UK is holding few brands that we do not have access to it. I understand how exciting it is that Sephora is opening in the UK. From Belgium I need to go to France for my closest Sephora. Luckily Lille is only about two hours away, but it still makes it a rare occasion and a day to look forward to when I get to go.

I remember when Sephora originally launched in the UK. I used to go there in the late 90s/early 2000s but it wasn't as good as it looks now. Even though beauty products always sell, the beauty industry now is so different to back then and we didn't have the US brands we have today. I really hope they open some more Sephora stores in time as I'd love to go.
That store was huge and bright. Beautiful🎉🎉🎉🎉. I work at a Sephora @ Kohls here in the US and I wish we had pull out shelves. When I saw that in the video, I was like, wait did that shelf just pull out. Love you Robert, Happy Shopping!! I love the Sephora collection lip stains and any of the eyeliners. I do more shopping at Ulta tbh because I like their rewards system more. And I really haven't been buying makeup like I used to. I've had such a big collection for so long now, I spend more money on skincare now, and when I get makeup it's either mascara, a lip gloss/oil, or some sort of eyeshadow, I just don't buy other products anymore🤷♀️

I like their pro brushes a lot (specifically the sephora pro brush line, I'm sure the other Sephora brushes are nice too, but I haven't tried them). And I'm starting to amass quite the collection of the Sephora colorful magnetic eyeshadows/colorful eyeshadow monos. There seems to be a lot of finish variation within the range, and I specifically like this smooth sparkly cream formula that is mostly present in the 'metal effect' finish (though not all of them) and also some of the shimmer effect and glitter effect shadows. Shock choc is my fav from the line, and one of my fav one and done shadows.
Lancôme lash idolé mascara, Sephora instant brush cleaner and the Sephora makeup setting spray are something I always have on hand.

There's actually people in the US that's never been to a Sephora store! There isn't one anywhere near me & I can't travel very far (money issues) it's just not possible for me. Love seeing u excited!

Totally get your excitement re Sephora. We have Sephora in Australia and have done for quite some years but I live in a rural remote area and the first time I walked into the multi storey Sephora in Melbourne I thought I was in a corner of heaven. I was in there for hmmm hours? My hubby walked around the entire shopping centre whilst I was in there! Lol. Working makeup artists unite!
I swear there used to be a Sephora in Bluewater many many years ago
