I'm so happy to find a Tunisian channel with some stitches I haven't seen before. Some of my fellow yarny friends and I are learning Tunisian techniques together. I love your channel! Thank you for sharing your love for Tunisian. I'm really enjoying it!
Beautiful stitch and I love the color of yarn. Every time I watch one of your videos I want to immediately start a project. I have to stop myself and just add it to my to do list. 😄😄
Beautiful! I would love to make a cardigan with this stitch. Glad I found you. I've been crocheting for about 26 years and just started Tunisian crochet today. I'm gonna go sub to you now!
Been working on this stitch and everyone around me is in awe of it and I told them to subscribe to your channel. I'M really enjoying it especially since I jammed my thumb on Monday. THANKS so MUCH ☺👍
Pretty. Question though. If you’re placing the stitch between the front and back legs of the yarn over isn’t it actually a knit stitch? Full stitch would be between the yarn over and the Tss2tog, not through the yo.
Very nice! I love Tunisian crochet. The only thing for me is that an in-line hook works much better. One of my first projects was a scarf and I bought a tapered hook. It was very difficult and the yarn didn’t help either. Now that I use the inline hooks it’s a piece of cake! Lol! I’m currently working on a shawl with Tunisian short rows. Fascinating! Thanks for sharing!
Gymnart I learned on inline hooks years ago. When I first saw a tapered hook I thought they were cheap. Why I thought that I don’t know. One day I needed a hook and the only one I could get was a tapered so I bought it. Now I think each style has it’s use. Now when I start a project I try each style and then decide which works better for me. Many times the tapered are fine. A lot of time it depends on the yarn too. But for Tunisian I have found that inline always work better for me. Suffice it to say I have a bunch of each style!😊
I want to try this beautiful pattern you are doing. What yarn are you using and what size needle? I have never done Tunisian crochet but you inspired me.
Thank you! It's a 100% acrylic worsted, similar to this: www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/paintbox-yarns-simply-aran?a_aid=07b9b78e The Hook is probably a K sized hook.
Thank you! It's the 'All Call Blanket' from my book, Go Crochet Afghan Design Workbook. The book is for sale (signed or unsigned) on my website at ellengormley.com
I just started with the Tunisian crochet project, and for some reason it's curling. The bottom is curling in, and so is the top. Can you please give me the link, so my daughters blanket I'm making will stop curling on me? Thank you
Thank you! It is the ‘All Call’ blanket from my first book, Go Crochet Afghan Design Workbook. It is available signed at EllenGormley.com within the US or on Amazon.

I love the way you teach. It helps you are not using a small needle 😁
I like this Tunisian pattern the best of those you have shown and it doesn't curl.

Although it looks like it would be complicated, you make it look very easy and doable!! It's also nice that it doesn't curl.

Where can I find inline hooks? Pretty much everything I see is tapered. I prefer the inline, too.

Nice! I never thought about the single crochet bind off being wider than the piece. Thanks for the info!
P.S.! I sent you 3 emails about patterns.
ok! thank you!
The 'full' stitch is also known as the gobelin stitch which I believe is a tapestry stitch it resembles.
Pretty stitch.
Thanks!
So question.. if I wanted to make a bigger item what is the chain count
Hi! Any even number.
This is exciting. I really am in love with this stitch! Thank you Ellen!

Any even number. :)
What is the beautiful doily on your table? I love it. Do you have a pattern for it? If so, could you post a link? Thank you so much for this.

Hi Ellen can you do a hexagon and join as you go blanket. Thanks
Yes! I can demonstrate the method for sure. Thanks for the request.
Isn’t this the arrowheads stitch?
Maybe? I often find differing names for stitches in different resources.
I was distracted by the beautiful yarn work in the background! What is it?
Thank you! It is the ‘All Call’ blanket from my first book, Go Crochet Afghan Design Workbook. It is available signed at EllenGormley.com within the US or on Amazon.
