HOW TO MAKE A MUSCLE SUIT FOR COSTUMES and COSPLAY! SUPERHERO FAKE MUSCLES DIY PART 1

- Today it's time to add some big muscles on that skinny body! I build a muscle suit for a badass superhero look! Put the muscle suit under your costume and you are ready for cosplay your favorite hero with these fake muscles.
It's the part 1 of this project. I'm not quite satisfied with how it turned for now, but however it should look great with the final result.
To make this part of the muscle suit, I used eva foam sheets filled with pillow padding and glued on compression clothing. Maybe I could have made it in an other way but I like to try different things.
Some additionnal tips for you; you can use chalk or pastel to draw on dark clothing and black eva foam; use the padding of an old cushion or pillow to fill the fake muscles or you can use cotton wool; when using contact cement, wear a mask and put plastic wrap under the clothes to protect skin.
And finally, I have to say that I had a lot of problems during the process for makin this part of the muscle suit and it's why it looks so ugly!

What’s the thickness of the Eva foam?
What is the base? Just a form fitting shirt? Morph suit?
Is this the same method you'd take to make one in a skin tone? Would you paint it to match?
It was a great idea and it turned out awesome but I wish the muscles were bigger.

I know this has been a while but it's easier to "take away" when you're doing lady body. Look up drag queen tutorials basically the only you end up adding is foam at the hips (which can be as simple as stuffing tights or panty hose, and adding breasts, for which there are a TON of options

What size eva foam are you using?
Merci beaucoup ^^ je fais un Cosplay de narancia (de jojo golden wind) et vu que je suis une fille et que narancia est un mec ça va m'aider à paraître plus "masculine" xD
Surtout que j'ai pas énormément de muscle donc pour coller un maximum avec le perso je vais utiliser cette technique

Where can i get this suit
I bought the compression clothes on the web (amazon), you can use a full body suit made of lycra ( generally for halloween costumes) that I buy also on the web on amazon. I buy almost everything on amazon to make this suit.

It's just to protect myself from people who would like to sue me for what it could happened when trying this at home...It's a necessary protection for me and I always put this warning on each of my videos...thank you. 🤷♀️
