    Amazing!!! I love watching him blow . But this one brought tears to my eyes. Very moving improv. I think he just may have gods hands. As a 65 year old guitarist I was speechless to hear him not only wanting but glad to share and pay it foward even while he’s trying to make a living. Thanks Guthrie

    I posted this on his other videos but a great practice song is Creep by STP. Dean plays virtually no solo over the acoustic version. And it has a great mix of chords which progress slowly. C B7 Em7 G Am etc.

    GT, watched this one again. Great sounds here.
    I reckon you should do a taster video on mixing major and minor pentatonics. I think it features heavily in your playing , along with “outlining the chords”. Would love to hear your insights and approach to mixing major and minor pentatonics. Ie when to do it and off which intervals you like to switch.

    Some great ideas in these lessons. Less 'You must do it this way' and more 'Well,how about trying this? Or this?' We call this 'Guided Discovery' in the sports coaching world but it works well in all branches of teaching.

    Damn Son.... that opening - so good! At the start I thought "he must be getting paid by the note" as you were tearing it up but then you switched gears and took it every which way.
