      actually it's much easier than people think (at least than I thought) do a test
      do a tuck 90° hold and extens 1 leg and see what happens
      maybe you have the strength for it

    I just started getting into parallettes 2 weeks ago and my goal is to do a bent arm tucked planche (straight arm seems like such a faraway dream atm). Stumbled upon your videos I am very impressed at your techniques and how stable you are! I've done weight training for a number of years already, so hoping that will help with learning this. My biggest issue right now are my wrists mobility though. I can barely bend them back 90 degrees. Are there any wrist mobility exercises you would recommend to do throughout the day to increase the flexibility?

    in my experience it's not easy at all, it's a strength move as well as every beginner can't do it it's a high intermediate move like just think about it you're holding your body parallel to the floor with pure shoulder strength and balance , not possible to do without proper training.

      You need wrist conditioning, also make sure that your wrists are placed to the side and not to the front, he is here using parallel bars so he won't have to worry about his grip unless he goes on the floor.

    Bro, I'm starting in calisthenics and I know only L sit, elbow lever and frogstand. I'm 14 years old and I wish you or anyone in this comment section could give me some other floor skills to learn, that is not too advanced and is good for my actual level. Also, how much time people take in average to learn bent arm planche? Is it harder than tuck planche? Btw nice video bro.

    • @Shadowsthetics
      @Shadowsthetics 10 місяців тому

      Hey bro...this skill takes around 2 to 3 months to master fully and yes its harder than planche

    • @t.r.inight
      @t.r.inight 2 місяці тому

      To correct it is not harder than planche but it is usually harder than tuck or advanced tuck planche. But that's a dumb comparison because you don't compare bent arm skills and extended arm skills, just different things. Now, to answer your question, at your level (7 months ago), you should train basics like dips, pike push ups and then upgrade the progressions... And then when you master dips and all weighted, you could try working towards the bent arm planche. I just got my bent arm planche a few days ago and I can dip more than my bodyweight

      Of course you can, the only thing that paralletes do is to give you a higher elevation which means more room for your legs to lift up and aslo it's better for your wrists(I can tell you from training it on the floor my wrists were in pain).

      @soulgameyt769 Рік тому

      @@yehonathanshapira7090 It does matter. Because you don't do the exersice properly. You must maintain the lean during every rep because this is gonna strengthen your shoulders the way they need to be trained to achieve bent arm planche. Either way, you always need to lean forwards.

    All of these channels are horrible representation of progressing. No you are not going from bent leg hold at 1:40 to straddle straight legs at 2:40. It went from bowflex commercials to these already strong in shape, years of strength building people making gullible "calisthenics" videos. Yes i just attempted the straddle and i could not lift the hips. Id rather turn off ad block for a youtube channel showing actual progress with hundreds to thousands of attemps to just lift their legs instead of these clickbait videos. Maybe ill be the one to start it.
