- WTB has been creating mountain bike products for ages it seems like. Continually coming out with new saddles, tires, rims, and grips that keep riders comfortable and happy while riding. Now they are back with a complete revamp to their popular saddle lineup. Every mtb saddle from the Volt to the Deva, to the SL8 to the Koda, have all received updated graphics, new materials, new foams, and a revamped level system based off the rail materials. In addition to all that, their Fit Right system is taking saddle sizing to another level. Allowing customers to find the perfect saddle for them based on a few simple measurements. In this video, Jeff goes through all the major updates to the WTB saddle lineup and walks you through the fit right saddle fitment process. Check it out!

Great news. I love WTB saddles. There's just one thing that's been bothering me about them: they all start to creak or squeak rather early in their lifespan. I wish they did something about that.

Love my wtb volt, i used it almost 8 yrs.
I’m running the SL8 on my newer rig and I’ve been using the Rocket for years on my older bikes. Thanks WC for always bringing information about NON-Generic products. It seems like LBS only stock and sell bike branded products. I’m sure some of them are well made and have lots of R&D, but I also feel that many brands take parts to the next level and that’s definitely what WTB does.
This has got to be the best introduction line to a mtb video review video ever hahaha
Followed the link, went to WTB .. took their recommendation .. and WOW .. old saddle appears to have been completely inappropriate ... this one just fits and feels good
I have the brooks b17 on my Yeti. It's the most comfortable I've found for longer day xc and trail rides. I like how the saddle feels custom after the leather break in period.

WTBs on both my bikes. Silverados. one is ti, the other carbon. NARROW. I can hug them. My butt has been riding for years. I will not regret getting them. Love them!

I highly recommend, the science is spot on and I thought I had a weird body. (small frame 5'8"140 but oddly a medium sit bone that's with a down pointing triangle frame... one would assume I would have a smaller size than I actually do and they nailed it with those questions!! )

I can't unsee that nekkid rider. ugh! But WTB didn't incorporate something like the Bontrager Blendr light mount on their saddles. I love after work rides and often come home after dark. Light mounts help keep my dropper post happy.
holy crap. i know my sit bone size but did it anyway just for fun and it literally is only off by .4 of a mm!
In keeping with the way I usually do things I bought one on clearance when the new models came out. Still an upgrade but cheaper.
Usually I have been "fine" with stock saddle. Would be cool to test sometime what a difference it would make to get something that is aimed a bit more specific for your own needs.
Currently running Selle Italia saddle that came with the bike, been good so far on many +40 km rides.
Well, selle italia is a good saddle to begin with.

Another great clip! Question, I'm looking for a saddle and was looking at a few option. One was the Ergon SM Pro but it has a rider weight limit. I'm at 225lbs and Ergon's weight limit is 220lbs. Can you tell me if WTB have a weight limit on their saddles?
I would not worry at all about the weight limit. Those saddles are very strong and that limit is just a very cautious limit. I've got plenty of 200lb+ friends that never damaged a saddle. Get any brand you like. If you are worried, just steer clear of the carbon railed saddles.
guys, what would you recommend really as a PERFECT SADDLE for proper Fat Bike rider? I'm riding my Fatty every day (nearly) spending like 20-30h per week in a saddle on my Fat Bike Trek Farley with Fox Transfer dropper post - can you please suggest whether WTB Koda would be a really good choice? I've tried many saddles inc. Sybcros Tufino 2.0 cut-out and frankly I'm confused, I cannot seem to find a right saddle for my arse :( please help. Cheers. Jerry
I have just bought WTB Volt Cromoly for my road bike - just to try it, because heard good opinions about it. How is preferred to adjust it in level position? Shall I adjust an eye-level on the middle part ?
How does it feel on a road bike? Im considering the rocket saddle since it treated my butt well for mtb
Wonder if they have stopped the squeeking and creeking from the saddle noses.

Once a week.
i am getting so much pain on my bubble butt !! i dont care about the weight, the looks, all i care is comfort lol. I am getting the thick rocket, or thick speed. What y'all think? thanks
@Spike Flea hey thanks for the response! I went with the volt its a medium cushion. Im still waiting for it to come in the mail. If this volt still hurt i will switch to rocket.

What's the best way to go about picking a saddle when one does not know what they like. I see all these saddle in UA-cam and it is mind-blowing for the customer to pick. I can not just buy every saddle and try and return or can I??. Seriously you as the owner of a shop you can try every saddle and see but the regular Joe can not.
Probably just better to get the cheapest steel version unless you're trying to shave weight in some race, otherwise doesn't seem worth the extra cost.

My "Find your fit" gives me Deva as result. As I search, it was designed for woman. Theres any chance of be a good saddle for man? I see some of them like it.
Why try to be so trickey for the sit bone measurement? Just put tinfoil on lightly carpeted stairs or even use cardboard....sit on it with your toes pushing up off of the floor and then measure the distanc to the center of the indents that your sit bones have left behind.
I did the cardboard measurement last week and also did the WTB fit right after seeing the video (doubting the process) and sure enough, they gave me the same measurement. To be honest I felt the WTB was pretty easy process was quicker and easier... IMO
