I have a smile on my face...
The three I respect so much and have taken and learnt so much from. Its so good to see your faces May Allah SWT bless you and reward your efforts and especially reward you for what we on the outside take in.. Jazakallah khairun.
❤🤲
Also, take care of your 5 daily prayers with sunnahs. Do not waste your time with music. In sujud keep saying الله زدني علما Allahu zidny ilman..Oh Allah increase me in knowledge.
MashAllah i like the app idea for developing Arabic vocabulary, another idea maybe for Grammar, having short Quran phrase, sentences, and guessing the Grammatical rules applicable in sentence, simple rules not advanced so it becomes natural when you see ayah because you would of made mistakes , corrected it and it will stick in memory when reading ayah again.
Alhamdulillah, will be a very useful App for thousands!
I know we are looking for positives especially in these challenging times for our people but looking at how Allah has blessed us with such consistent and hardworking individuals helping us access the message
To paraphrase the du’a of Musa (as), we are just thirsty for God-sent opportunities to do and spread good! And what greater goodness is there than the Book of Allah (swt)? Appreciation from some of His servants is always a welcome bonus :)
I only can say, Alhamdullillah that Allah is giving us oppertunity to understand Quran and Sunnah in this way and Allah SWT make these gems a pathway to understand Quran. JazakAllah to all of you . Can we have more programmas from you dimonds.
Jaza Allah
Ustadh Nouman wins the show whenever he is in there MashAllah
I beg to differ, I think They all do. I think a lot of credit should go to those who are continuously contributing to QuranReflect site and Ustad isbt always there , just wanted to add that they all steal the show... whatever that may mean. May Allah SWT equally reward them :) Ameen.
Very true that Msulims universally don't receive the Holy Book in totality but in bits and pieces. Imams and dais quote specific aya to support or expand on a point. We were never brought up to engage the Quran holistically. InshaAllah, the new generation will receive and accept the Quran differently from that of their grandparents and parents generation.
1.First step, ask Allah to help you and trust that He will.
2.Second step, sincerely believe that these are the eternal words of Allah and they are pure mercy and truth.
3.Third step, now you must study daily.
Start with learning Arabic slowly along with your reading any translation and follow along with the meanings.
These brothers are so sincere and useful for you. Do not dismiss them.
JazakAllahu Khair for this podcast! I really appreciated that you talked about people having anxiety in their Quran journey. That is something that I struggle with, inshaAllah this book club helps with that.

Assalam O Alaikum and Eid Mubarak.
This is a great effort and my humble suggestion is that even on basic level encourage readers of Quran to ask QUESTIONS.
They should mostly use what, who, how and why in their thinking process. What is being siad, how it is said and who are the target audience of Quran. Every story of past has a lesson for its reader of all times. They must ask who are the unnamed personalities Allah SWT suggest in Quran and why something is mentioned here and what does it mean in larger context of Quran.
I humbly believe that first step of TADABBUR is having questions, lots of questions.
I would also suuggest that even on basic level the beginners should be introduced or they reachout themselves to different translations by different people at the same time. The reader should see the different approaches of scholars who use different words of their own language to translate the same Ayah. Then reader should see the most appropriate word closer to Arabic word of Quran to understand that Ayah.
One word of arabic has multiple meaning so a translation of the word may be correct linguistically or according to dictionary but may be Allah SWT never used that arabic word for that meaning in whole Quran so the reader must not accept any translation of any word of Quran that Allah SWT did not use and meant for in totality of Quran's message.
Be concious and stop and ponder about everything that is not mentioned in Quran and the translator think here what Allah SWT would have said or meant. Because this was the thought of translator and he may be absolutely wrong in that "filling" explanation.
If a same arabic word translated differently at different places then ponder on it because Allah SWT never used same word for different meanings and HE does not use different words for same meaning.
There is not a single word in Quran that is not connected or linked to the other words or stories of Quran so never think that if you read one word or Ayah and you understood it. You may understood in isolation but what does that word or Ayah mean in context of whole Quran you will learn if you keep reading and pondering in Quran.
May Allah SWT bless you more knowledge and wisdom to all of you and everyone who sincerely comes closer to Quran to ponder and understand it for guidance. May Allah SWT make all your efforts succesful and beneficial for Ummah and all humanity.

Best translation is the one you reflect after learn Arabic and you live translate in your head as you hear the recitation. ❤
Also a collab with Dr Ali Ataie from Zaytuna about the stories and comparisons between the Bible and Quran.
I have an idea, which is that you create a certificate for the translation, which means that one of the translation representatives comes and presents it to your team, then you examine it based on several factors and give it a final score in several aspects, for example, ease of language 85%, accuracy of the translation 90%, inclusion of the Arabic meaning 40%, etc.
Thanks for that - Ibn ‘Ashur Centre @ibnashur is actually working on creating pretty much exactly what you described.

Assalamualaykum,
I had emailed Quran Reflect team a month ago to support the app you’ve built. I am still quite excited by your initiative and would love to know how I can contribute.
Wsalam, I will pass this on to the team so they can get back to you insha’Allah.

Great video Allahuma Berik you mentioned that you'd suggest a recommended translation of quran to read but I didn't hear the recommendation or must have missed it. Or is that being mentioned in the next episode?
For the purpose of our shared activity through Quran.com/calendar we will be sharing a PDF which contains our adapted version of Abdel Haleem’s translation. You can use this or any translation you prefer (indeed any language you understand). Just subscribe at the above link and you should receive the resources every Friday in sha’ Allah.
😃Count me in! ~ Thank you so much for this!
On a side note: I feel like i've seen brother Fahim somewhere before, could it be at the IESH - Chateau Chinon?
He did indeed study there.

Suggestions: plzzzz
Can we have a mechanism of posting q's. Secondly we wld certainly like to HV an open interactive q&a session fr members of Quran reflect...
We’re looking into ways to open up to questions. Thanks for raising this point for us to treat with more urgency :)
We need a translation that contains pictures that explain, not 100% of the content of the Holy Qur’an, but for many things
Interesting idea - there are some attempts to do this for children’s “first Quran”.
@55:22 true . .
Maybe we are ourselves are biased to "presentism" when reading the Qur'an. If we can imagine ourselves in the shoes of the 7th century Arabs, the Qur'an is "clear" right away because God speaks to an audience who is already aware of the intricate details going on in the background. My approach to the Qur'an would be to follow the Qur'anic engagement with it's first audience as a guest trying to inhabit the 7th century rather than God directly speaking to us in a totally different modern world.
That’s important but we can never in fact be that first audience. And while it’s essential to understand what it meant in its first context, the Quran is also clear about being universal.
Alhumdulillah, and is it normal to have questions that causes emotions to rise when when we engage with the Qu'ran, statting right from the beginning, often was i scared, and would ask.myself questions, and fear would be prominent, and yes Allah introduces Himself, and He explains in the opening chapters the criteria of how we should conduct ouselves, but when i see the falling of a simple 'dont go near the tree' and if our father Adam As faltetrd sirelynwe will too along the way. That scares me.
It’s important to be conscious of our emotional responses, and perhaps even to discuss and share these with trusted people. That’s clearly better than reading without feeling anything!

24:41 some ppl also very joules that do not want a particular imam or preacher to success and pretend that discouraging them reading the Quran. Here to avoid any misunderstanding: I’m talking about sth that I’ve faced and it still happening. Believe it, They want to read Quran according to their Hawa and nafs and if there any Dunyawi benefits from reading it. What kind of Quran is that ?! I hope that they are just leave without even doing Makr , Kaid or problem. Allah Almostaan.. 25:11 Personal: No one forced ppl to get involved in to Reading Quraan. They joined, start reading, grateful for giving them the facilities and even more encouragement than ever expected… tbc and It’s My job to give you the real context Dr. Sohaib unless you accept it Fake and full of ppl that pretended that understand! You will never succeed building fake Arsh, soon will be uncovered or have a one depending on thieves Wallahi… tbc

Why is the host directing most of his conversation & attention to the " sheikh fahim"! And purposely ignoring Mr Nouman! Even the camera man too! I would much rather Ostaz Nouman Khan run & host this series...He would do a much better job...
Please be careful- you don’t have to impose and push and idea into Quran reflection- let it be organic
Hopefully you found this was one of the key messages of the discussion.
Why is nAk so serious?
Tired, I think 😂
I noticed the thing same thing also. He did look quite rigid and serious for some reason, like maybe he was feeling a little bit under pressure or perhaps he didn't want to be here even. 😂 I thought he'd be happier being able to chill right next to his Quran buddy. Or maybe he was thinking, "Grrrr, I don't wanna team up with these guys. I got Bayinnah, that's it I'm the winner."
Or, as a more positive thought, maybe it was because of the seriousness and the complexity of the themes or ideas being discussed over here, and his brain was working really hard to try to simplify the concepts for the rest of us ... who knows?
Maybe we're gonna have to get the answer from NAK himself one day. 😇
@@rayaanshafi99
Astonishing the assumptions people will make right Rayaan, even lightheartedly! Make lighthearted but positive assumptions people!
Perhaps he's serious because it was filmed during ramadan, he travelled 4-5 hrs to be there, taught after almost every taraweeh at the place he travelled from, and then had to drive back the same day...
We are oh so quick to judge
Because it is a serious subject.
Alhumdulillah he has a child to who keeps him busy over and above.
