- Although barely 3 years in her noodle business with no prior background as a chef, the umami-rich prawn noodles offered by Ms Don Goh is popular with locals.
Don’s passion to dish out quality noodles can be seen from the ingredients she uses. Prawn noodles with marinated sliced pork, pork rib or pig tail are popular among Don's customers. The jumbo bowl has red leg prawns that are bigger than the size of your palm! Big sized and fresh, prawns are deshelled and deveined. Self-fried shallot, pork lard, garlic and dry chilli are topped to give a light crunch and nostalgic aroma. The soup is rich and thick, cooked using natural ingredients, filled with robust prawn flavour.
