    Awesome video Pete. Austin you rocked it. Watching Mason and Griffin and their crew sending it over the falls was amazing.

    Man, that’s another just gorgeous place that you would never get to really appreciate unless you’re in a kayak.

    Loved the video! That logo animation at the end is top notch! The recovery from a bad start is a great lesson.

    Hi Pete. Do you ever post your trips in advance for others to join? I paddle in WV but love the videos of your runs down there and would love to get on some of them but dont know anyone down there.

      Hey Kevin! I used to, but would end up with 25 or 30 paddlers every time. We have to keep it quiet most times so as to keep the group size managable and responsible...one the unintended down sides to the channel. What run are you looking to get on?

      @@RiverKingsKayak yea that’s understandable. I’d like to do the tellico, ocoee, noli gorge to name a few.

    What was the level ? Middle is so good but when it’s low I think it becomes harder almost

    • @RiverKingsKayak
      @RiverKingsKayak  Рік тому

      360 cfs. Lots of runs are that way to a point I feel. lower levels aren't always easier, but always different

      @@RiverKingsKayak This was sometime in the early 90's - pre cell phone days, not that you could get reception at the Tellico anyway. I was with a group of guys and a couple of them had their girlfriends with them. Fortunately I had AAA. While we ran the river, one of the ladies drove all the way down into Tellico Plains and called AAA. They sent a locksmith all the way from Knoxville and he got there about the time we took off of the river. That year's AAA membership was probably the best $100 I ever spent in my life.
