Hi Pete. Do you ever post your trips in advance for others to join? I paddle in WV but love the videos of your runs down there and would love to get on some of them but dont know anyone down there.
Hey Kevin! I used to, but would end up with 25 or 30 paddlers every time. We have to keep it quiet most times so as to keep the group size managable and responsible...one the unintended down sides to the channel. What run are you looking to get on?
@@RiverKingsKayak This was sometime in the early 90's - pre cell phone days, not that you could get reception at the Tellico anyway. I was with a group of guys and a couple of them had their girlfriends with them. Fortunately I had AAA. While we ran the river, one of the ladies drove all the way down into Tellico Plains and called AAA. They sent a locksmith all the way from Knoxville and he got there about the time we took off of the river. That year's AAA membership was probably the best $100 I ever spent in my life.
That view NEVER gets old! Still my favorite river!
That is for sure!
Man, that’s another just gorgeous place that you would never get to really appreciate unless you’re in a kayak.
Put it on your list Dan!! It is amazing in there!
Those kids at the end can shred! They were fun to watch 😎
Indeed!! It was so fun to meet and film them!
Another incredible video! Austin is a Rockstar! And seriously, the ending of this video....super freaking bad ass!!!
Thanks Lace & Camo!!
One of my favorite River Kings productions. Awesome!
Thanks a ton Shawhi1!
Awesome video Pete. Austin you rocked it. Watching Mason and Griffin and their crew sending it over the falls was amazing.
Thanks Michael!
What a fabulous looking river. Great run Austin and the rest of the crew. Oh and fantastic skills from the guys on the falls!
Thanks David!

Loved the video! That logo animation at the end is top notch! The recovery from a bad start is a great lesson.

@@RiverKingsKayak yea that’s understandable. I’d like to do the tellico, ocoee, noli gorge to name a few.
Hey are you gonna be at wilson creek tomorrow me and my friends are looking for someone to paddle the river with.
if I can get away, it will be after 3 before I get up there... not sure it will work yet
@@RiverKingsKayak Sorry, we had a change of plans. Do you think wilson will hold till sunday / are you able to go then?
I locked my keys in the car at the Tellico one time. Made for an interesting day.

Trevor better remember them lines😂🫵🏽
he he he!
What was the level ? Middle is so good but when it’s low I think it becomes harder almost
360 cfs. Lots of runs are that way to a point I feel. lower levels aren't always easier, but always different
