- How to loop like a pro. Third in my looping mini series showing you some of my favourite advanced looping techniques and tips for guitarists and loopers.
My looper pedal is the Boss RC30 Loop station, if you want to know how to use a loop pedal then be sure to look up the previous videos in the series.
If you want to improve your looping, then this is the video for you. Make sure to watch to the end of my live looping tutorial to make your performances stand out.

You're the G major. That first tip was golden. Thanks bro! ❤🙏🏼
This video is great. The balance of information to charisma is on point. All of the tips are extremely useful.
Thank you!
Thank you - nice approach!
Great 👍 videos on the RC 30
Thank you
Very informative video. Exactly what I was looking for to spice up my looping. Thanks man. Great audio and video quality too.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the feedback
3:30 I don't agree, I like how it sounds when the notes are not spread ! And you can't say, IMHO, that the more apart the more it sounds good, there is a whole world of close harmony and it is amazing ! :)
Nice video!
Hello Sir, how about verses and chorus.
Do i have to play the same chords.
Because lot of songs have different chords with verses and chorus .
Hope you understand the question.
Thanks for the video
Is there a way yo sync the tempo from a sequencer (I use volca drums) with the RC-30?
hi scot, thanks for your videos, i have a problem, when i m doing the loop with the voice the outside sound filter in my loop , filter the sound of other loop 1 channel
Any tips on how to reduce white noise? I have the RC-30 and each loop I record the static gets louder.
Please do some more ... I'm looking to buy looper , boss rc30, or nux loop core delux??? If you can help
Hi Ariel, I've only ever used the RC30 and it's been great. I will get around to reviewing other loopers. You can expect some more looping videos soon
The next time I'm in my car at the traffic lights, and my cars indicator syncs with the cars indicator infront of me, I'm gonna shout! Polyrhythm!!! Yeahhhh music theory bitch!!!!
i want to move to Wales ...if i win the lotto that is where i am coming...
HELP ! Can someone tell me why my "erase the last track" function is not erasing ??? THANKYOU
I’ve been trying to figure this out too. It seems you can only undo the overdub, not the initial track. Did you ever find anything that works besides delete?
Guys is there a way to earse the loop with pedals
I’ve been trying to figure this out too. It seems you can only undo the overdub with the pedal, not the initial track. Did you ever find anything?
can someone respond to this? I used the RC3. I seem to need the extra pedal to turn it off. Do you think the operation of the 2 pedal RC20xl is easier than the 1 pedal RC3 ? I'll take the RC20xl just for the 2 pedals. I think. anyone?
I used the RC3 briefly but never gigged with it. The RC30 I use is so much easier to control with the 2 pedals
@@ScottGuitarist I would think it's much easier with the big 2 pedal BOSS setup. I feel like the one pedal looper is a bomb that's gonna go off at anytime if you hit it wrong.
I prefer the RC300. Much more useable
4.30.
hee hee
keep it up//
came back for it. contagious. simple silly n awesome... peace//
...what exactly is he saying there?
gahahahha funny brother!!! thanks!
please go deeper with baby chords and little bit of harmony!
you must be new to youtube because usually we only get a little bit of basic help and ideas before we have to join your patreon page. :) thanks for the quality tips....and for free....i think. :)
I'm sorry to say that but couldn't see any different extra ordinary tips in this video...
No worries. Maybe I should do a video on all my favourite extra ordinary techniques rather than 'Advanced' ones
@@ScottGuitarist Yeah, and perhaps details on how you're dialing in your sound? I've actually never seen a vid in this vein, that didn't examine the techniques they were playing... isn't that the point really? I too was hoping for something more involved, but you present nicely, and that counts toward something; I finished the vid despite knowing all the tricks ;)
I agree, I have no idea how you were making that violin sound. Were you using the rc30? It woulda been nice to see the loop pedal and how you were doing these effects
Thanks for watching, and for the feedback. I’ve learned a lot about making videos since this one! I don’t watch other videos on the subjects I talk about because I don’t want to copy anyone, I prefer to be different to others making similar content. Otherwise all I’m doing is adding to the sea of noise.
At 1:40 it shows me doing the violin effect. It’s literally just turning up my guitar volume. (I was learning a lot while filming this! ) 😂
