On the subject of missing letters: is it my ignorance or have you twice written 'SPHINX' without the 'H'? If it is intended to be a pangram then there is actually a missing 'H' from the alphabet. Walter
Speedball is a particular brand of broad edged calligraphy nib, it's not strictly speaking different to any other nibs from brands like Mitchell, Brause and Leonardt. The only real differences may be whether the ink reservoir is placed over or under the nib and whether the nib has an 'oblique' angle. Hope that helps!
