Honestly, the scariest thing about this is that these are only the Tyranid types we know about. It’s said that the hive fleets are just the vanguard, testing the water for the rest of their armada. Since the Tyranids likely consumed many other galaxies before stumbling across ours, chances are they have countless other types besides these ones, just waiting in reserve or wrecking shit in other galaxies. (Also, I don’t want to be ‘that guy’, especially with how good this video is, but there’s also the Malanthrope. Similar to the Zoanthrope, it basically lags behind the swarm and swallows the dead and wounded of the enemy. I remember quite a few years ago when taking loads of ripper swarms was meta, and they were always selling for loads on ebay, as the only way to get them was by obtaining 1 swarm via certain tyranid model sets. I can see the same happening in 10th TBH, as they included 2 swarms in Leviathan (2 isn't even enough for a squad) so I imagine the madness to obtain rippers is going to start all over again.
Imagine if an entire tyranid hive fleet was just sent to the warp imagine the absolute Carnage that would follow as they desperately searched for biomass
During the battle for baal, a warpstorm showed up, a pretty big one, and it was strong enough to cut off the mind link for all the tryanids on baal, leading to their defeat. Safe to say tryannids don't do well around the warp

Aren't Orks the the same thing? They are driven by instinct and, yes they might torture and kill people for fun, but that's it, just because it's fun. They don't know if what their doing is bad or evil, as long as it's about fighting and war, because they are made that way.
some bioforms that could have been mentioned, hive guard, which act like snipers/ mobile turrets. tyrant guard, that protect hive tyrants. Heirodules which are like supersized carnifexes
I don't want to really nit pick but a couple of things I wanted to note 1.The raveners were mixed up with the mawloc raveners are similar in size to a warrior and what was described was a mawloc 2. This is not a critique per se but the above lead to The Red Terror being the only named Tyranid to be omitted 3. Lastly another omission was that of the hive guard most likely because of some similarities to tyrant guard their purpose to the hive mind is to be a stable firing platform and guard the Capillary towers as they send up the biomass to the hive fleet during the final stages of invasion. Other than those it was a wonderful video in all regards and if you took the time to read all of this. Thank You

Nah they lose cuz the hive mind is trying to control like 10 arms at once, each arm has a completely different strategy, and they never work together. Like imagine if the tryanids worked together.
I know that when the Tau and Imperium team up against the Nids, the Nids really struggle as they can't adapt to both the Imperiums weapons and strategies as well as the Tau's
@@majorkill yeah I hate to admit but tau kicked tryanids ass. The nids beat the eldar but couldn't beat tau for some reason.
@@magicmanscott40k Tau have barely if any Warp presence. Tyrannids can disrupt human minds but Tau seem immune to warp fuckery. Or at least highly resistant.
Bug Spray.
Of course My Lord. Shall we light the Purifying Bud Spray with the Holy Flamers?
@@randomkrieger2625 Put the spray into the flamer
Best comment. For the Emperor.
@@magicmanscott40k FOR THE EMPEROR!
Nurgle. He may be ranked 6 on the list, but he holds number 1 in our hearts.
imagine if the Tyranids met the Zerg from Starcraft. they'd either get along or eat one another...
They'd probably get stuck in an endless cycle of Someone wins a battle, but the next time the loser of the last battle is the winner because he made something even more OP with the Genes and Biomass he horded, then the new loser reatreats, mutates and so on until a named Space Marine comes along and kills everything with a combat knife
@@bionetik No, they would both die by Catachans who would enjoy the irony of eating both races to extinction and would become so ripped from the meal that they would only use knives and fist and proceed to punch everything else non-human into extinction all for the fun of it.
Imagine a Flood Gravemind Tyranid.....that knows how to use Technology.
Same thing though? Wasn't Starcraft originally supposed to be a 40k game?
They would totally eat one another to the point where both sides go on an un-ending technological arms race or they both evolve together
Or you know the Tyranids like just eat everything because 40k is America and everything has to be obnoxiously large
You’re going to have to update this now
15:11 took me compleatly by surprise 😆
MK:pronounces exocrene correctly, "I'm not pronouncing any of these names correct."
Also MK:"toxicreney"
In response to the pleas from the guy that gave me the term "stabby-wabbys from space" and has 40k videos that manage to be less than a feature length film. I'm happy to have reserved pressing the red button of internet ego-boost until now in your time of need.

I started making a tryanid army after your tyranid explain video. I bought tons of models. I had no idea they got the least amount of support. I need new nids! Also great video video.
Oh and a lot people just say rav-in-er.
I agree swarmlord should've beaten Dante and his pistol is overpowered. It's supposed to be the ultimate lifeform and it loses all the time.
"You could actually argue that's a negative." lol liked and subbed!
That's what happens when you go through puberty buddy o/
Patreon needs more tentacles and now you have the opportunity. Don’t disappoint me
Noooooooooo
If you think abt it the tyranids are the only actually neutral force in warhammer, they dont hate or have any ill intent, they are just very hungry boys doing theyre thing.
Nah they are massive assholes
Nah thats the Tau lol
Aren't Orks the the same thing? They are driven by instinct and, yes they might torture and kill people for fun, but that's it, just because it's fun. They don't know if what their doing is bad or evil, as long as it's about fighting and war, because they are made that way.
@@Urd-Vidan orks have actual emotions and rational toughts i think, i think to an extent they are rational beeing capable of dicerning emotions
by far one of the best warhammer youtubers
Was majorkill listing types of gaunts, or a list of genders from tumblr?
Jeans stealers “quick hide the wranglers”.
some bioforms that could have been mentioned, hive guard, which act like snipers/ mobile turrets. tyrant guard, that protect hive tyrants. Heirodules which are like supersized carnifexes
Actually surprised you didn't spend much time covering the genestealer orgy cults...
Proud of you.
I’m deeply disturbed when i hear the word rape even in a joke, yet major gets a chuckle from me every time

Old videos are less funny and more cringy but still good, I just binged the entire channel in the past week
As a tryanid nerd I thought it as funny. The tentacle hentai thing wss funny as hell after buying so many of both.
I don't want to really nit pick but a couple of things I wanted to note
1.The raveners were mixed up with the mawloc raveners are similar in size to a warrior and what was described was a mawloc
2. This is not a critique per se but the above lead to The Red Terror being the only named Tyranid to be omitted
Thank You
Haha nice touch with the norm queen.
At the beginning I thought you were normal, then i realized you would like hell’u’va boss
8:36 Thats a Mawloc, a Ravener is like a smaller version of it
no ever did kill the Swarmlord of Macragge tho,
Calgar got bodied by him
Wait an ultramarines lost, furthermore Calgar the chapter master of the ultramarines got bodied, praise be!!
I'm the codex, the swarmlord was about to kill gulliman but I think it got killed by his bodyguards. It then got ressuracted and almost wiped out the blood angels.
