- Tutorial on how to replace the window regulator and motor on a 2007-2012 Nissan Versa. In the video, I replaced it on my 2009 Versa hatchback on the front passenger window, method should be similar for the other three windows.

It can be done if the window is stuck up like in my case. Its fiddly. I used a 10mm spanner (small). The right bold is easy, left one takes a bit of feeling around to find it but the spanner fit and i got it off.
Thanks for the tip!
How you made a more clear walkthrough than all the men that made similar videos 😂
My passenger window has been getting obnoxious, so I ordered a new regulator. Figured I should youtube it and who do I see my friend Yumi :) Thanks for the help and for being awesome I hope you are well. - Chris
this helped me a bunch with my nissan tiida. it's the exact same car! although the inside of the door was filthy. yours look brand new. the excess dust was probably what killed the old regulator. cheers from argentina
Hi thank you very much for this video. I was able to follow each step and fix it. Greetings from Costa Rica.
I like your content👏🏻
I’ve recently got a 2007 Tiida aka versa as a daily , since I work in construction management having to visit sites and so on considering the reliability and cheapness of maintenance this was option 1.
I recall seeing those Tiidas with a hella big mileage and some times I see them driving on the road with high speeds while the body is barely intact I mean literally it’d have camber caster and toe issues with body panels that are painted with a damn wall brush jeez but it’s driving.
you should totally speak about the reliability of those vehicles , will probably do one soon.
Keep it up
Wow! What a great video! Big help!
Very helpful, thank you!
Thanks for the awesome video homie!
Good job. Suction cup idea to hold the window in place was very smart.
great video, thanks
Thanks So Helpful 👍
Great video thank you
I used this video to fix mine
This is great thank you
Very nice thanks.
Thank you!
I recommend putting some silicone lubricant on/in the window tracks, it really makes the sliding surface slick and puts less strain on the motor(my window went from ~12 seconds rolling up to ~4-5)
How did you adjust the window to the switch again?, did you roll it all the way up and then lower it down to the height if the old one?
My tiida is a right hand drive and the left front passenger regulator needs to be replaced. Can I just buy a regulater that would normally be used on the left hand drivers side cars and it works for my left hand passenger side?
What if the window is stuck at the bottom of the door? How did you get it to the height to get the screws out? Mine motor crashed in the down position.
Mine did too. I haven't found a video that helps for this particular issue. Did you find anything
👍
I have this problem for real so it's easy to spot the problem with your video. My window really doesn't work so how in the world am I supposed to use the power buttons to lower the inside screw even with the hole so I can unscrew it(3:25)?
I just replaced mine with the window fully up. Its fiddly but can be done. I used a 10mm spanner (small). The right bolt is easy, left one takes a bit of feeling around to find it but the spanner fit and i got it off.
Can the motor be taken out on its own or is it one single piece?
It might be a bit tricky to have the motor separated because the cables have to be at the right tension. I believe the rear door windows have a gear system so it's a lot easier to work with.
Noice
What if my window is stuck up with no motor function, is it still possible?
No it isn't. I have the same problem.
@@bobn2056 haven't got around to doing this yet it's too cold, please let me know if you find a solution.
@@uncomnin my situation, I noticed that when pressing the switch to go up, it would sound like it was trying to go up. I took a chance that the motor was not the problem, but the switch was. I ordered a new switch and replaced the original. That solved my problem.
I had already tried a new switch, I left this at the garage with a second hand motor from eBay and it got fixed, but not by me.

WHY YOU WERE NOT MY NEIGHBOR BACK IN UCUCM!!!!😭
Hmm, what if I'm not changing the regulator. Shucks!
I have a 2012 and it's totally different set up smh
2012 hatchback is in the same generation
