I'm working on a window but your video was great for showing how the door panel comes off saved me a little head scratching and time before I got started with the project

For the C gray part you push the left from the outside, the push it from the inside the upper and the lower, that way you avoid breaking it, to unplug the cables push the center of the connector with the same flat screwdriver

Just to ask, did the sound of the speakers worsen when it rained or the car was washed? I know someone that had a versa with the same speakers, and that was the issue. The car in this video is the only other one I have seen with the exact same speaker in it. I don’t know why this isn’t a known issue with these cars, because the issue was with ALL FOUR DOOR SPEAKERS.

No, this one never experienced any issues like that. This was my cousins car and she liked the way the new speakers sounded. I think maybe one of your ground wires either from the radio or the body is making a bad connection and that might be why you’re getting that bad quality sound when the car is wet.

No, That isn’t it. I actually analyzed the damage of the speakers once I took them out of the car, and the cone was slightly sagged, and had a stain near the bottom of where it was mounted, which looked like water. Sure enough, I wired it to my home stereo and pressed on that particular side, and got the same distortion. The speakers in this Versa also seem to have the damage that I described, because the physical cone wasn’t damaged, just stained near the bottom edge,

I love listening to music in my car but the speakers are blown out since a long time ago. So what I have been doing for all this time is using my bluetooth speaker to listen to music in the car. I'm getting tired of charging the speaker every other day so I'm finally going to fix the speakers. Thanks a lot for the tutorial. What speakers do you recommend I should get? I don't want to spend too much money on high-end speakers since after all it is a Nissan Versa but I definitely want it to sound better than the factory speakers did when they used to work. I would lappreciate it is you replied. Thanks

I don’t know why, these Nissan’s speakers actually sounded good from the factory when the CD or AUX jack was used, but the fm radio totally sucked and lacked bass.

DJIJ SpeakerGuy might be the Nissan radio antenna

Probably is. I have seen quite a bit of cars from different makes that suffer from the FM sounding real dull.

Ah, I see you also broke the tab on the C-shaped piece around the door handle like I just did.

Does the speakers require a terminal adapter and soldering or will the wires slip right over the new speaker terminals? No one seems to cover this step in any videos....

No, this was on a sedan. I'm not sure, but I think the hatchback is very similar.
