    this as an actual model would be fun
    also as a dnd dm, this would basicaly be an adventure on its own since it is 65.3 squares long (1 dnd square is 3 stud on a side), so it would be a dungeon with 5 main sections first, then the monsters beaten it can become the homebase or centerpiece of a naval based adventure

      The ark had two of every animal so yes there actually was dinosaurs on the ark. It was not Lego though

    • @PansyPops
      @PansyPops 7 місяців тому +3

      @@GatorBoyCLthe first appearance of hominins was about 6 million years ago (that’s an ancestor of modern humans) and the last dinosaur went extinct 65 million years ago. That leaves an entire 59 million years between our oldest ancestors and the last dinosaur, it would be impossible for any overlap.
      The first dinosaur described in a scientific manner was by William Buckland in 1824, and the first complete skeleton was found in 1858, so _if_ they had any even on the boat they’d have a pile of mismatched bones from a variety of different species. With new specimens being found to this day (eg Vectipelta barretti found earlier this year in the UK) it wouldn’t have been a very complete collection.
      So, without even looking deep into it, a gap of 59 million years between some sort of human and dinosaurs and new species being discovered now, there would be no chance of dinosaurs on the Ark.
      Let’s face it, early hominins would have never been able to build something on such a scale. The oldest known structure is Gobekli Tepe in Turkey, which is about 11500 years old. If the Ark existed, it would be a stretch they’d be able to construct a massive boat before this. So that would be a gap of 64 million years between the Ark and dino extinction.
      So _if_ the Ark existed there physically couldn’t have been dinosaurs on it. If there was any it would’ve been a small collection of mismatched fossils nobody understood!!!

And since it is a cargo ship (specificly general cargo) You could even see how loose cargo can affect ships in stormy wheater.

Plus,the passengers were Noah,his wife,his 3 sons and their wives, which gives 8 passengers in total. He did mention he didn't have enough beards for the sons,but he definitely could've done the 3 wives.

    Some interesting facts about how Noah's ark probably worked:
    Most of the animals, dinosaurs or not, were probably either babies, just eggs, or hibernating. This cut down the need for space and the need for food. After the Ark landed on Mt Ararat, all the animals dispersed across the various land bridges caused by the flood that have since then eroded into the oceans that were left. Most of the dinosaurs were either hunted to extinction by humans, or just couldn't grow to be as large as they used to, since their lifespans were shortened by the change in atmosphere the flood caused.
    Science and the Bible go together quite nicely, I'd say.

    The Lego company needs to make a Noah's Ark, just like with how they made the Lego Titanic
    But I guess you bet Lego to it with Noah's Ark

    The design is great other than the door having a spot for water to come in (rip the animals) and I was really surprised how well it stayed together and I love your shirt

    in my experience of building lego boats, you actualy want some water to enter the hull, so it not only balances is but makes it so the water line doesnt go any highter into the boat, next time make the bottom so that water can flow in, then make everything above that waterline seran wraped, it should work much better at keeping water out :)
