  • Woodturning - In this video I combine maple burl pieces with three different colors of resin to make this incredible one of a kind bowl. This bowl was originally going to be more of a pedestal bowl that's inspired by Doug Moore of Pohl Barn Productions but I didn't quite get there, either way it's an incredible bowl. I also do an update on the double walnut crotch hollow form as well. Please like and share.

Colors-wise... I'm an alum of the University of Minnesota, and the school colors are maroon and gold... So what I'm trying to say is that I personally have had my fill of that combo for a lifetime 😆😆😆 Looking forward to the maroon one coming up though!

Love the bowl! Color is fantastic. Commenting on what you said about the shape. We all have a little artist in us and we have to let it out sometimes. Glad you let it out on this one!

I personally find commissions really handcuff your creativity, but I like the money too, hahah. Thanks

I really like the color choices here. I like the idea of having a hint of red or maroon shining into the black like a black cherry. That would be awesome with a nice piece of cherry or cherry burl if that exists. Thanks for sharing

I’ve got a couple of cherry burls that need some love, might see them soon. Thanks

I like how the finished product came out. I do like how the resin came out, but I agree with you. I wish there was more burgundy.
