The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Chorus Perform the State Anthem of Ukraine

- The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, led by incoming Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann, dedicated their performance of Mozart’s Requiem on March 17, 2022, to those who have lost their lives in Ukraine.
A portion of the proceeds from the concert were donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross’ Ukraine relief efforts, and we encourage additional donations: icrc.org
As our prayer for an end to the conflict and hope for the goodness in humanity to rise above all, we also offered this performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine.
We stand with Ukraine.

I truly hope they were able to escape.
My cousin escaped from Ukraine and is staying with my aunt and uncle here in the USA.
It was the first time I met my cousin and we have known each other for a few months now.
Such a horrible thing to happen.
Ukraine does not deserve what is happening and it’s just heart wrenching knowing the families, lives and land affected by this.
People, kids and babies who won’t live to see another day.. kids and those who won’t get to have a full life or get to grow as an amazing person..
So sad.
I genuinely hope you’re reunited with them or at the very least have contact with them.
I’m glad to know my cousin is here with us but again it’s just awful and lately I’ve been listening to a lot of piano covers of the Ukrainian national anthem as well as the orchestra covers of the Ukrainian national anthem.
This video gave me chills by how powerful it is..
Please stay safe if you’re anywhere near the danger.
