I have never cried so much watching a video program. She can't say Ukraine, every time she tries to say it, she gets stuck, and tears start to flow. I couldn't watch that genuinely emotional scene without getting upset and crying. I pay my respect and admiration to her and Ukraine for her genuineness and patriotism.

Nice to say, but unfortunately NOT true. If she was a little Spanish girl, or Italian, or Irish or.... whatever and did everything exactly the same, there would have been no golden buzzer. We wanted her to have that moment, but reality will set in at some point and that will be a hard day for her.

Even though she is SUPER young and you can tell ballet (anyone who has watched ballet for like 10+ hours) has so many more techniques to master (OF COURSE, SHE IS 8y OLD!), I could totally feel her beautiful and honest spirit coming across in her performance - it truly shines! This is why women are much more beautiful. I'm from Portugal, thankfully I never had to deal with a war... I cannot imagine what that is like. But I would fight and die, gladly, for this kind of girl in my country. There's no valuable future where we can't have kids like this growing up in our midst. WE MUST ENSURE kids grow free! When asked by her classmates if she would take to the streets to fight the Russians if they. invaded, she quickly said yes. I left at the end of January. It wasn't just out of compassion that she receives a golden buzzer. She's seriously a great ballerina at her age. We will wait for the day that she's on a bigger stage and fly like a beautiful swan that she is.
Nice to say, but unfortunately NOT true. If she was a little Spanish girl, or Italian, or Irish or.... whatever and did everything exactly the same, there would have been no golden buzzer. We wanted her to have that moment, but reality will set in at some point and that will be a hard day for her.

So out of compassion it is, and it is ok, but lets be real and objective, this show is not about compassion but about quality, cpacity and performance. She misses points in all when you compare her to other kids that have come to this show. Sorry, but reality is reality!

Even though she is SUPER young and you can tell ballet (anyone who has watched ballet for like 10+ hours) has so many more techniques to master (OF COURSE, SHE IS 8y OLD!), I could totally feel her beautiful and honest spirit coming across in her performance - it truly shines! This is why women are much more beautiful.
I'm from Portugal, thankfully I never had to deal with a war... I cannot imagine what that is like. But I would fight and die, gladly, for this kind of girl in my country. There's no valuable future where we can't have kids like this growing up in our midst. WE MUST ENSURE kids grow free! If that is not possible that would not be a world worth living in.
BTW: good job to the Spanish teacher, feels like he's so overwhelmingly supportive, I feel comforted by him :)

So much precision in her dancing at such a young age, WOW! She reminds me very much of one of my Ukrainian students, an 11-year-old girl, Sofiia. When asked by her classmates if she would take to the streets to fight the Russians if they. invaded, she quickly said yes. I left at the end of January. Several months later, Sofiia moved to Spain, like this young girl. Who was cutting onions during this clip?

@@Sam_1984a That's true, he still has too many supporters, which is quite scary. He rules through fear and intimidation, because even if you are opposed to their government, you get jailed for speaking out. It's so insane! That's why I keep supporting various Ukrainian charities wherever I can.
