I'd say the descendant is a worthy successor.

DaveCaresForYou; I thank you for admiring the car. I bought the car and it was already back halved with a 4link rear suspension setup. But on top of that, it has fiberglass hood, fiberglass fenders, fiberglass bumper and valence panels. It also has an aluminum block with aluminum heads, aluminum piece floor panels, aluminum dashboard and lexxin windows. The car is a different color now and I also took MORE weight out of the car by going to fiberglass removable doors because the ones you see here are steel, and I also went to a fiberglas deck lid because this one here is steel as well. My quarter panel glass is actual glass in this video but I made it match the rest of the car and made it lexxin. Along with taking all this weight out, I made a lot of other changes to the car as well hoping for an 8 second car all day long no matter the weather. The engine was purchased by the previous owner straight from Indy Cylinder Head as a whole engine and he then made more updated changes to it in order to get it to run as fast as you see here. When the car is running again (dropping the engine in this week) I will do an engine vid and post it on here as well.

@davecareaforyou. Dave, the floor is actually really a thin piece of steel. It's not aluminum, my mistake. The transmission tunnel is aluminum. It was custom made to be taken out when we are working on the car and it fastens in with dzus fasteners. What's your email Dave? I can send you photos of what I am talking about
