It's such a powerful module. I have it in my rack BUT i don't use it at all. Why? Because it's unusable for me with its size. I ordered a external (dual) display to maybe being able to use it somehow. That display eats up more space than the module itself, what is not a real problem. So, the question to ExpertSleebers is: why not doing a Disting XXL? A usable big module with a big screen that still saves lots of rack space because of what it can do. Can't be that hard. There are lots of customers for sure that want it. Smaller is not always better.
Really incredible stuff! I only have 3 oscillators at the moment but this was really a joy to test out. Any chance of adding a Z input for that Output tune for a kind of master vibrato?
Will it be possible to use the SATB harmony mode in the algorithms which use the chord mode (e.g. multisample, poly wavetable)? I'm finding the triggered note tracking a very intuitive way to add harmony to patches but dont have room for enough oscillators to make the most of it.
Beautiful! This is the first time I've seen the ES-5 in use with the Disting and I'm wondering if you can also send/receive MIDI via the ES-5. I've got limited space in my case and can't fit the midi expander and ES-5 both.
Os, you just pushed me over the edge to get a 3rd DistingEx! Thanks! - Also, any info on that "sub ring module" algorithm that triples the oscillators + noise + ring modulation? Is it possible?
Is it possible to use the chord engine algorithm to take cv input and from it generate chords to send to a midi instrument via the midi out from the disting?
This is so insanely sweet sounding 🥰
Can’t see the display, a zoom over section would be great
I really like the "ersatz SH-101 4-voice poly" made up of A-111-6es.
Amazing! Thanks!

For tuning, would be nice to be able to just send the same cv value out and tune by ear.
You can do that if you prefer.
@@ExpertSleepersLtd nice 👍
Superb :)
thanks!

You can map a CV to control the output tune, or any parameter you like.
@@ExpertSleepersLtd thanks will do!
Thanks!
So amazing! When is it out!?
Should be later today.

I'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.

No. You don't strictly need the MIDI breakout - just run a cable out the back/side of your case.

Which "sub ring module" is this?
@@ExpertSleepersLtd "Antimatter audio sub ring"

Not currently.
