Straight facts, it sucks how if you make a game that hand holds and tells you everything, it's boring and get flack for it. Then you make a game where it does the opposite, players have to LEARN and test things but they won't so they will fail and still blame the game, poor design bad balance yadda yadda. There's honestly no winning in game design. Anywhere..
I like how in a game like this with tutorials and training, alongside enemies that start out easy allowing you to practice as you go through the story. It's funny to me how people can say "the game does a poor job of telling you how to use the combat...." Meanwhile when something like Dark Souls of elderly ring comes out and it tells you nothing it's praised for being a game that lets you figure things out for yourself, why can't it be the same in Gotham Knights?
Yeah there are a lot of people who tend not to interact with in game systems. I think most of this games hate mainly comes from people who wanted another arkham game. Also there are people who love the souls series & elden ring but if there were no guides online I think many of them wouldn't praise it as much.
Great tips!!! And everything you said was true I've been playing for like 40 hours now and if you don't do any of these it's gonna be a nightmare. Only thing I'd add are Perfect dodges for some of the more agile enemies. Like Talons and the dudes with drones and grenade launchers you are gonna want to perfect dodge and grab then takedown. They are waayyyyy too annoying to fight without perfect dodges and perfect counters.
