People are hating on this game. I’ve played about 10 hours and can say I’m having a great time. Yeah, the frame rate could be better but it’s gorgeous and a fun story. The combat is fun as hell as well.
People hung up on frame rate but it’s not a game breaker so far. I think it’s a good game. If people stop comparing it to the Arkham games they’ll have a good time.
As you beat certain story missions you get given Heroic Gear that scale to your current level, but it gives you the same gear across all 4 characters, that's the only way to get gear for characters that you aren't currently playing. That and the beyond suits if you got the pack for them.
Ok, so to clarify, knighthood does not take 4 hours ! I can't believe you said that , the first time you do it might take longer, especially if u dont know what you doing so i say first time you do knighthood maybe 45 min or less , after that its like 20 min. I did all four! I change characters every mission!! This are amazing characters! You dont need to main one! Use all of them u will have more fun guaranteed!
You can mix mods from all 3 types when creating a fused mod. For example, if you have 2 slots in your suit, you might equip one of the slots with a fused mod of 2 melee and 2 range. I think that is the benefit of fusing mods.
One tip i found out is that to get an accurate base stat on gear, unequip all mods as new crafting items will be scaled unmodded to your current equiped mod filled gear. So your equipped gear (modded) may be a higher number than your unmodded craftable gear but the craftable can have better base stats if you add mods it. Its a massive annoying oversight.
does anyone know where to farm nth metal from it's the yellow legendary material you can't craft any legendary gear cause only have 250 any help would be great
You have a chance of getting them from very high difficulty crimes but if you hover of the materials in the crafting section it tells you where to get each one
Some challenges from your contacts sometimes give them to you (Penguin for example). Very high crimes have a chance to spawn unique bounty enemies. You get yellow stuff for defeating them. Man-Bat dropped me some yesterday.
3 words : MONSTER HUNTER WORLD. They should have opened up Monster Hunter world, and use its level design as core of this game, take all the ideas straight from that game. Except replace the monsters with interesting unique crimes
Red Hood with right skill and gear and he's a powerhouse. Nightwing is good to. Main these two. Should try batgirl and Robin a bit more. Played them just to unlock their knighthood.
I just got the game last week Im having a blast Soo far but I don't see a reason why this couldn't be on PS4 now I have a ps5 and can play it I feel like they could of released this on previous gen consoles if they could get Red dead 2 on there they could of done this In my opinion and mains are Nightwing then red hood
1:58 "can take an hour or 3 to do one" me who restarted the game last night and has got robins nightwings and done 4 crimes on batgirl in an hour and a half.
I think some of the story missions award gear for each hero but the whole loot system is pretty bad imo. All just abstract icons that pop up...Oh I found 200...green things, cool. I can't ever tell when I'm looting gear or blueprints, besides the abstract icons it's all so small in the corner.
Id rather loot to just go by level not rarity . Not a big family of looting being in a batman game. Just give us challenges thst unlock suits and male them customizable id wanted and make the bike faster than a moped

They do not upgrade together at all! Also how are you going to release a game where Batgirl doesn't glide right away! You have to do timed challenges when those do not work.. Man this let me down. These timed strikes are a freaking joke! It says for red hood to hit triangle right before your attacks hit. Well the problem with that is I'M FREAKING HITTING IT RIGHT BEFORE MY ATTACKS LAND AND NOTHING!!! This is a big let down.. Ohh, Batgirl awesome, I get to glide around.. Oh yea, but no you don't get to glide around.. 😒 not to mention how confusing the mods are.. I guess I'm just a stupid idiot 🤷🏼♂️
On the timed strike training you can literally mash the attack button long enough and I’m sure you’ll hit it at the right time at least 5 times. But you want to press attack right when the previous attack lands. It even flashes a white light on your fist the second your supposed to hit it.

This game could’ve been so much better if they just focused on 1 character instead of 4. They had to cut alot of corners for that to work. It’s not a bad game but it’s closer to bad than great.
But that’s what the game needed. If you wanna just play one character then you can play Arkham knight. This game is more revolves around co-op and having choices for different play styles.

The graphics don’t even hold up to a 10 year old game. Arkham does look and play better. But how many times is someone gonna play Arkham. Gotham knights is not worth $70+. What’s the point of all this new hardware if that’s what’s gonna come out of it. The game is nowhere near great.

Yes they could’ve done better fps wise but the combat ain’t all that bad honestly. Just copped the game 3 days ago and already have 30.5 hours in it and enjoying it. Overlook the bad things and find the good things in the game is what makes it enjoyable. It’s not too bad

Arkam feels like a half baked wannabe open world but I’ve never said it out loud out of respect for the comic genre & subjectiveness… this is my type of game.. the people feel very divided which is fine.. what I find funny though is after the devs insisting this is very different from the arkam games & we’re pretty vocal about it & the Arkham fans seem to either be delusional or just weren’t educated enough about the game before dishing out 80 dollars.. expecting it to be the same or better… clearly 2 very different games & takes. The only thing I find maddening is that this is the first actual truly open world Gotham game and we’re damn near in 2023

There's only one tip you need to know with this game do not buy this game I have a top of the line game laptop and it doesn't even work on it it doesn't work on any of my computers I tried all my friends who got this game tried it too and it doesn't work The game just starts up as a black screen and never freaking does anything and then just crashes stay far away from this piece of garbage game
You wanted to play it super bad, doing all that and now watching helpful videos.. your advice though is to not buy it? My 4 year old loves playing it on a not super expensive PS5. He loves the Avengers game too.

You can get them drop on the most wanted challenges so very hard crimes have a chance to have them.

Can the challenges be done in co-op or has to be solo?
Can be done in Co-Op! It's probably quicker in Co-Op as you can split up and do crimes seperately.
Been playing with red hood. Feel super op compared to my buddy who’s playing as nightwing

I found batgirls ability for electronics to ignore her pretty strong you can ignore everything except enemy weapons and floor trip plates

i have the pc version and it does that to me during some fights. I usually smoke-pellet escape and re-enter the arena and it fixes it.
I’ve gone with Batgirl, probably nostalgia missing Batman. 😢

It’s the red crimes on the map pretty much just harder crimes the become more common later in the game
You can get Legendary mods from fusion now, I don't know how it happened but I got one last night and I've been trying to replicate it

Then just dont do timed strikes then, its not a big deal. The glide takes like an hour to unlock literally
