- As many of my subscribers know (Not That I have Many;) I love coastal photography, add long exposures photography in to the equation I'm very content. I'm very lucky to live near the coast and frequently travel up the North east coast of England for a dose of seascape photography to satisfy my passion and this video is no exception to that.
This particular location is a favourite of mine and have been here on quite a few occasions, with that been said you would have thought that nothing could go wrong with this photo shoot but time and time again landscape photography brings It's challenges for you to try to overcome and learn from mistakes, in this video I made quite a few. Lovely pictures mate, great location too, I am sucker for long exposure that my preferred genre, I think 60% of my pictures are done with 10 or 15 stoppers I think living by the coast and surrounded by lakes and rivers helps too. Look forward to next video mate 👍🍺

Don't worry, it took me three trips before I got the shot I wanted, I too was there about a year ago great to see your video about your experience, and encouraged me to go back. After your wet backpack, I'll remember only put your bag down on a falling tide!

Looks a great location. I plan to travel up to the area soon, mainly around Saltburn area but have added this location to my list - looking on Google maps there doesn't seem to be any parking close to the pier (and they are building lots of houses!) - where is the best place to park (not to far away)?
Thanks for your comment in the new house estate There are plenty of parking places just got to be sure you don’t park in front of somebody’s home then it’s just a short walk down to the beach hope you have a great time there and hope to see you on the next video kind regards Stuart
This is confusing.
Your pier is our jetty. Example, Busselton Jetty. A groyne is a solid structure, here commonly made of rock. Example, Brighton Beach Groynes, thought those are pretty tiny. Google didn't show my anywhere those old piles are called a groyne. Google might show you the Hamelin Bay Jetty. We also have breakwaters and moles, they're pretty much the same.
