I am lucky enough to own a First Pitzmann, and it is gorgeous indeed. It might not be obvious at first glance, and you do need to look closely at the details to appreciate the quality.
Def a little late to this one but great review! This dial is def all about the face. Really love the crispy white dial, blued hands, and the numerals are just so nicely done and thickly printed. My only gripe with this watch is I don't like how the whole case is polished. there's a lot of shaping and case lines but it's all polished so it all blends together. If you don't pull the stem out properly, I find you can kind of get into the ghost date position
Thank you very much for the great review. I received the First Pitzmann last March. The quality and design are outstanding. They regulated and adjusted the bracelet size before shipping. I really recommend this watch to your viewers.
@@Styla78 On their official website. I believe it took just over a week to arrive. The best customer service I've experienced with all my watch purchases.
Watch is nice enough, but I'm confused about the branding. For a brand that seems proud of coming out of South Korea, they elected to go with a very European name.
yes, but those watches are not as fine quality as the First Pitzmann. I own one, and it is extremely high quality, which you can really only appreciate when you have it in your hands.
Normally I would criticize leaving off the date if the movement supports it, but in this case the watch is a homage to vintage pocket watches which normally did not include a date feature, and if it did have a date was not the common window we see now but a center or subdial hand pointing the date. My only gripe with this watch is the size. It should be larger. Otherwise it is a very nice piece.
@@EscapementWatch My bad then.. though I saw 1500 a couple of days back :) Still 1300 is hard sell for it also. Even if it is a good watch generally speaking. Looking forward to your review of the pitzmann 2

Agreed. I really like mine also.
Did you purchase the watch from their official website? And how long did it take for delivery?

Yes I believe it's a german name they have the ending in "Mann" with the 2 N's. I would have liked a Korean name as well.
Very nice 😍😍😍
Very nice indeed - but £1k? I can get a lot of Seiko for that price - or a Junghans Max Bill - or for half the money a nice Baltic

Nice watch, but too expensive! As it was mentioned here, few dollars more and you can buy a Max Bill , which one has a great history!

It is a very nice watch - I like the look and specs...but IMHO it is overpriced. Hard pass.
They are delusional about the price hike they do every year... The pitzmann 2 now is 1500$, it started from 1k.
I see it at $1299 for pitzmann ii right now. what currency does your country use?
