Who's going to buy their products then? The few still employed or wealthy? How much can they consume? If AI can affect tech jobs, then what about the other jobs?

@@spamaddress8976 it's not like that. People losing jobs also means no tax to government, other sectors would also be affected as sales will go down, also education courses that people take in order to get into tech company would suffer. Everything is related, nothing is independent.

Layoffs are not possible in Central Government jobs and PSU jobs because their is very high Job Security.
Also IT Sectors employees many times more employees than Central Govt. and PSUs. That is the reason people are highly impacted.
New Jobs were already scarce in Central Government even before the Pandemic and wars. But IT sector was recruiting well.
Employees need to increase their skills, just use companies platform to increase skills. Love your job don't love your company

After 40 years in tech . Tech Ceos have learned that there are a lot of terrible workers that latch on to tech companies and simply ride the waves. A lot of these workers will paint there fingernails for 8 hrs a day if you let them. I think that it is wonderful that tech CEOs are shutting this BS down. I love it.
but why then talented and hard working resources are suffering ?

@@dhyanapadi15It is hard but real-time to experience highly matters. 3 tough DSA, one tough System Design round is all you have to crack within the stipulated time. People have got online platforms and focusing on what is asked in the interviews. It’s not about solving and designing standard problems. Software engineering is about solving big time real world problems and put them into coding. Once Google/Amazon knows the person hired doesn’t know to solve a problem.. (for example., sort by price in Amazon site considering they have 10million products in the category) their jobs are axed..

Greedy people don’t feel good unless they’re making more money this year than the last year. It’s got nothing to do with the need it’s power lust its idolatry. In case you’re wondering, idolatry is the worship of a thing, as if it were a God and that thing in this case would be a dollar bill or a digital dollar bill. Bow down and worship the Almighty Dollar. But beware as it’s a hard master, it will have you giving up your friends, your family, and even you’re very own soul for its cause. I don’t envy these heartless companies. I’m not saying there are no enviable companies. out there but The people that layoff others for no better reason than they just to get more money effectively make themselves useless pieces of meat taking up space on this spinning ball. Because they are useless for anything but to gain. Sure, they’ll get to charities, but that’s bull crap too. It’s just a way for them to look good in the eyes of others, and perhaps by their way into heaven.
