      Glad you found this recipe. If you want the sauce thicker, you can use arrow root starch or cornstarch to thicken it some more. Also, try my Waffle and Pancake recipe to pair with this. You can make the batter ahead, freeze and reheat in a toaster.
      Just let me if you need more help or recommendations.❤️

    Is it fine without the lemon zest? By following the recipe how much blueberry sauce does this make I wanted to know since I’m only making pancakes for myself so I should know if I should half it?

    Does this have to chill in the fridge overnight, or can it be used right after it’s made?

    • @lifewithbarefootchef2418
      @lifewithbarefootchef2418  3 роки тому +1

      You can chill it overnight to allow it thicken a bit or use it right away...for pancakes or waffles you can use it right away but I like to serve it warm for pancakes and for my vanilla ice cream. However, if you prefer a thicker sauce and can’t wait overnight, you can add Arrow root starch (healthier) or cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Thanks for visiting my channel!🥰

      @@lifewithbarefootchef2418 Thank you so much!! And this maybe a very stupid question, but how will I know if it’s fully ready to serve?

      Like how can I tell it’s done before I let it sit for 10 minutes?

    • @lifewithbarefootchef2418
      @lifewithbarefootchef2418  3 роки тому +1

      @@alstarspass After you simmer in very low heat for 8 mins. and letting it set off heat and covered for 10 mins. should be ready right away & if using starch (arrow root or cornstarch) no need to chill except your leftovers. Leftovers is good in the fridge for up to 5 days.
