Earlier this month, June. We had a great time. It was hotter than expected and lots of sand fleas and flies so repellent was a must but the diving was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.
@@zachb13 I only used the lights during the night dives but I had the gopro mounted to a camera tray and also used 2 Trustfire DF30 lights attached to it using ball heads and clamps. So my total setup was Gopro, housing, tray, 2 ball mount clamps and 2 lights. It makes the setup pretty big but it helps with stability in low light conditions where the Gopros stability doesn't work as well. Regarding the lights, they don't sell them anymore but they were cheap so I took the risk. They had a few issues like the ball breaking off and the threads that hold the ball mount in place getting stripped. Trustfire replaced them for free but its not something you want to deal with on vacation. I guess that's why they stopped selling them. Anyways, my setup looked about like the setup in the last photo in this amazon listing. I'm not recommending this item, just using it as an example. www.amazon.com/SHOOT-Aluminium-Handheld-Stabilizer-Camcorder/dp/B00P8KZHZ0

Awesome dive! What was this recorded with?
Shot it with a Gopro 8. With enough light the goprps do a great job
@@SDScuba what kind of light attachment did you use?
