It's always been so sad to me what happened to Gertrude Braithwaite. Disfigured and trapped, she died from likely thirst or starvation after the only ones who knew of her died in the manor assaultr. Poor girl deserved better.
Penelope Braithwaite said that she promised to help Gertrude (during Penelope's side mission if you take her to Gertrude). After the main story, I checked Gertrude as a corpse during the epilogue. I guess Penelope never kept her promise.
@@Aed_11I think she never meant any of it and said all that because Arthur was judging her for how they were treating Gertrude. Especially since she started with "there's no helping her". She'd already made up her mind about Gertrude being a lost cause and just spouted lip service to save face. Her family probably instilled it in her that the poor girl deserved/was best off there. Sanitariums were hell but I think living your whole life chained in an outhouse is a fate even the devil would pity. They kept her out there because they wanted to keep her a secret. If they got her help, people would know. They're ashamed of her for what she can't help but be. That's how it was back then though. Sometimes its still like that now, people being shamed for having disabilities or the parents of disabled kids being shamed for having them. Its all so sad. Seeing Gertrude dead in there really broke my heart. Nobody loved her.

1:06 My guess from looking at the crest is that the Braithwaite’s ancestors were Trinitarians. The two sets of crosses on each side of the shield, and the one also hiding in the castle, all sets of three combining into one, seem to indicate as much.
During the mission which Beau asked to Arthur to delivery the gift, when you enter in photo mode, you can see a sketch of Penelope in the Beau's sketchbook. I've posted a printscreen a few years ago on reddit

You can loot the house at the start of the mission with sean to burn the grays fields, leave the house then return and you get jewelry upstairs and brandy and tinned food downstair

What about the bloody hand on that shack's wall? (abandoned shack, 4:08) It's there on red dead online too, but it's weird, I mean, it's a perfect hand print right in the middle of the wall.. And I actually hadn't noticed it after 3 years of playing lol, my friend who saw it after entering that shack for the first time

There's another abandoned cabin by deadboot creek called dormin crest cabin and I noticed that the avalanche has two dead horses and has something to do with the frozen dead guy on the mountain

So I was on my way to do the micah mission where he's camped near strawberry. If you see his yellow circle close up at about 10 o'clock to the circle there is a rock. It has 3 figures drawn in red. One is reaching for what looks like a half moon, anyone know what it means?
